I have a metal trash can in my kitchen that has a lid that opens when you step on the pedal below. The hinge on the back of the trash can was scratching against the wall and was leaving an ugly mark. I hadn't really thought to use it for this spot, but it has worked out beautifully! My original idea for purchasing these was for the place where the front door opens and could damage the wall behind the door if someone flung it open too quickly. It works very well there. My suggestion: order extra because you will find many places in the home where they can be useful.

Got tired of using the door stops that you screw into the baseboards. They always seem to lose their tightness and become lose. With this rubber stops, you put them on the wall where the knobs would hit. With clear ones, you don't have to worry about the color of the walls. Adheres firmly in place.

Hollow core double doors to my master bath had dented from the stoppers installed in the door hinges. I really didn't want to go back to the baseboard stops or have damaged walls and the big black rubber wall stops my hubby got were just too ugly. So were some of the wall plates. So I settled on these unobtrusive protectors. They fit the purpose while not offending the eye and had the best overall ratings. Just as advertised and so happy I found them. Even my hubby had to agree!!

The rubber door stopper bumpers were a great solution. Protects the frame of our bay window from being damaged when the back door swings in the wind or with the help of a three year old :-). Instead of the door handle making a nasty gash in the frame, it bounces harmlessly off the rubber stopper. The product was easy to attach to our painted metal window frame. It's been installed for only about 6 weeks, so I can't speak to product durability yet, but it's holding up great so far.

HAH! It works!... The plain white disc bumper I had before this one had to be scraped off the tile because the door locked every time the knob hit the bumper. Grrrr! NOW I know why these bumpers have a crater in the middle - it accommodates the lock button! No more growling under my breath while I try to find a darning needle or etc. to unlock the door when I need the bathroom. Yay! ... Oh, by the way... it sticks tight and was easy to apply. Looks unobtrusive, too.

This will sound so odd, but these stick great and they were the right depth, and I really needed them in clear. We had just done a bathroom remodel and the didn't realize the medicine cabinet would swing out wide... hitting the mirror over the vanity. The last thing we wanted was a cracked mirror. These bumpers on the wall saved us from that and they're very unobtrusive, due to being clear.

I just installed these today and really like them so much better than the baseboard style door stoppers that protrude and obstruct the path of my cleaning robot. I removed the paper backing and placed the indented portion over the round door knob and opened the door to the wall and pushed the bumper onto the wall and had instant perfect placement. It stuck well and I'm very happy with these. I really love that they're clear. I have them on a painted wall and a wallpapered wall.

Perfect for what we needed. Notwithstanding a floor bumper - when our door got flung open by kids it somehow still managed to hit the wall. Seems like a permanent dent that I kept having to fill with spackle and re-paint. This time I covered the dent with one of these awesome rubber bumpers and now you can't see the dent AND the wall is protected from further hits. Love it!. Put one on the wall behind each door in kids' rooms. Perfect.

Stuck one to the tile wainscoting in my bathroom to keep the door handle from smashing into it. I wish the bumper sat directly on a single tile, but it doesn't--it overlaps two tiles. Still, the bumper hasn't fallen off, and is doing its job nicely. Looks great, too, blending into its surroundings. I'm very happy with my purchase and can enthusiastically recommend these. Update: August 2018. The bumper is still hanging in there! It has not dropped from the spot where I stuck it.

These are perfect for protecting my walls! I recently repainted three bedrooms in my house and bought these to keep the door knobs from dinging the fresh paint jobs - something necessary in my house with two children who are often less than gentle when opening the door and entering their bedrooms. They were very easy to apply - no hardware (screws) involved - just remove the sticker off the back of the bumper and stick it on the wall! The bumpers have a recessed part in the middle for the lock portion on the doorknob to fit into (if you have round doorknobs with the locking mechanism in the middle of the doorknob). If you don't have round doorknobs, these should still work fine to protect your walls - just position them where your door handle would come into contact with the wall. I would definitely buy these again.
