Coffee and Tea Lovers need one of these...

I have tested this now for almost a week, and we drink a lot of coffee and tea at our home. We have 2 other kettles (not Gooseneck) one Breville(https://www.amazon.com/Breville-SK500XL-Cordless-1-7-Liter-Stainless-Steel/dp/B000A790X6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502993548&sr=8-1&keywords=breville+kettle) and one Secura (https://www.amazon.com/Secura-Original-Stainless-Double-Electric/dp/B011BE7V8W/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1502993526&sr=8-10&keywords=hot+water+kettle+small). This kettle appearance is overall very pleasing, much nicer and more elegant to look at than my other 2. The presets are awesome, I never knew I needed presets, and now that I have them, I won't do without them anymore. We do pour over coffee, which works much better with the Gooseneck kettle, and in terms of taste, even that seems to make a difference. My husband (who drinks tea only, but varies from herbal varieties to green and black teas) mentioned that his tea has a better flavor and that the bitterness of some of his teas is no longer present (guess choosing the right temperature makes a difference). It seems to also heat the water up much faster in comparison than my other two kettles, given that we tested all 3 with the same amount of water at the same starting temperature. If you are looking for something for your tea or coffee, this is a great product, and I would highly recommend it.

The keep warm feature is great for busy morning when the call of the bugle demands that tea kettles are left unattended. The GOOSENECK allows for precision pouring accuracy. More than a brain

I am a 66-year old woman - active, busy and set in my ways. I use my kitchen a lot but in recent years I have begun to leave pans and kettles on the stove to go outside to do chores or go to my computer and get absorbed in something else. So I have burned out the bottom of several pans and the last casualty was my lovely gooseneck tea kettle. Fortunately, the rules I have made for myself regarding the stove have been effective but I still needed to replace my tea kettle. I read reviews about many kinds of gooseneck tea kettles and thought if I'm going to do this again I want a kettle with a brain. Well, I got more than that. Though this kettle had mixed reviews, it is important to read between the lines. I got the impression that the people who complained were impatient people. And the people who loved it were smart people. When the kettle arrived, I was puzzled by the heating element and found the directions badly written. But I was determined to be one of the smart people so I boiled some water. I waited by the kettle but I didn't have to wait long. It is said "a watched pot never boils" but this one did so fast that if I hadn't heard the little "ping" I wouldn't have known it was ready. My initial impression of the key pad was that it was "much ado" with regards to the temperatures varieties. But when I set the key for 200 degrees for my daily Lapsang Souchong, the brew was perfect. I had no idea that 12 degrees could make such a difference. So in a nutshell, the kettle works so fast, I had no time to walk away and forget it -- an energy saver both human and electrical!! The temperatures are magic and need the barest of touches to set (less than an iPhone). The company is responsive to inquiries (I made one and they responded right away). I've used the kettle for almost three weeks every day, dry it out after every use and store it in the cupboard. I hope it will continue to work so well for a long long time.

High quality kettle makes high quality drinks

The variable temperature settings make this product very useful for a variety of drinks and soups. The one litter capacity enables easy use with a pour over coffee pot or French press. It is very fast and efficient. It has many safety features that will prevent you from causing a fire and limit burns. Great for forgetful people.

Set it and forget it.

Not only is the beautiful brushed stainless steel finish appealing on the counter, it works like a charm. Fill the pot to the desired level, plug it in, place it on the base, hit the on/off switch then one of 5 temperature settings, clearly marked for the various uses. The on/off switch glows red, the temperature light is blue and both will go off when the water reaches the selected temp. I plug it in when I get up in the morning then walk away and when I come back the water is ready to pour into my pour over pot or tea. I really like the function and the looks of this pot. So glad I chose this one.

Beautiful appearance, functional

Bought this on a whim to replace a cheap plastic electric kettle. It was important to me to have more choice in the temp I could heat to, in my quest for the best French press coffee. This has a beautiful display, bright light up numbers, and even below each number indicates "black tea, herbal tea, boil, etc". It seems to take slightly longer than my old kettle to heat, but it's working great after a few weeks. I love the appearance, my only concern is eventually having to clean the gooseneck, but I'm sure I will find a method that works. Overall I'm pleased and would buy this again!

Great quality tea kettle!

I’ve been wanting one of these for awhile as I drink various types of teas. I saw a good looking variable temperature tea kettle at my local coffee shop. Found same model on Amazon but reviews were negative. I’m sure others know this drill. During my amazon search, I stumbled on this item and bought it immediately due to affordable price, quality design and stainless steel construction. I’ve had this tea kettle for about a month and can’t find one negative aspect. It looks good sitting next to coffee maker on countertop, it heats up to set temperature flawlessly and it won’t rust since it’s stainless steel. I haven’t had any spewing water but I never fill past “max” line. It does take awhile to bring water to temperature but I simply leave the room and listen for alarm. My daughter and I use this kettle several times a day as we are avid tea drinkers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND based on experience so far.

Elegant and high function

Super pleased with my tea kettle. It is practically impossible to find an electric kettle that does not have plastic in the construction. Who wants to drink plastic? This is all metal and the stainless looks like good quality. I have never had temperature choices (it has five, including boiling point) and I assumed the whole idea was a bit frivolous. I was wrong! I love having the choice. I am not a coffee drinker, but I love drinking hot water and herbal tea, neither of which requires that water boils. It heats quickly, and the maintain temperature function (for 30 minutes) is genius. It is the perfect size for the kitchen counter (does not take up much space) and capacity is just right for a single person (or two). It is pretty, modern elegant. I love the way it pours. I hope it lasts a long time. I am attached. Highly recommended.

Simply PERFECT!

This kettle is awesome! Water never touches plastic. Base is super easy to use. Even when boiling, the bottom of the teapot is safe to sit on a counter or serving tray (actual sides and top of pot are very hot, though). Note that if you want to refill the pot right after boiling, you'll need a pot holder or kitchen towel or some sort of hand protection when taking off the lid as it's extremely hot. The Gooseneck is super cute & fun! Not only is this kettle adorable, it is super functional & I'm in love with it! Highly, highly recommend! Blessings!
