it adds a little height

this shift knob is something between a half inch and a full inch longer than the stock knob. i think i've got it down to about the half inch higher than stock. it's amazing. that obviously is not because of the shift knob itself, but the extra half inch has made shifting my '05 mustang a whole lot easier than the original, and jacked up, shift knob. it amazed me that a half inch that made a short shift throw longer would make it even easier. but it did. all that being said, i didn't apply any loc-tite or crazy glue to hold it in place but it's still a solid knob.
