Perfect!
These turned out to be a lot smaller than anticipated, but I'm happy with their size. They are easy to mount, easy to remove and replace, "invisible" when mounted beneath my overhead kitchen cabinets (which is why I bought them), and put out an impressive amount of light for their size. Although a couple of others' reviews commented that the motion sensors didn't work for them, I can happily report that is not an issue with mine. The motion sensor works perfectly. They are sensitive but not "too sensitive" - they come on when I am near them (within a few feet) and they shut off after about 20 seconds of being away from them. I have been so impressed with these little guys. They are perfect for what I wanted. And the price is great!! I will be purchasing more. Highly recommend! (P.S. others have unfairly (likely unwittingly) complained that the lights either lost their charge shortly after initial use or within about a month of use. Well I have figured out why they were experiencing these problems. First: the lights were not fully charged when I got them. The first thing I did when I unpackaged them was to plug them into the USB ports of my computer because it has been my experience that instructions often tell us to fully charge an electronic device prior to first use. I plugged them right into my computer and charged them until the power light turned from red to green indicating they were fully charged - about a half hour or so. They worded awesome for about a month - which for my use seems to be how long the battery charge lasts before needing to be recharged. Once they appear to be in need of a recharge, then I remove them from their magnetic hold and charge them on my computer again. It takes a few hours to fully charge them this way. Once their light turns green to indicate full charge, I put them back in their spot under the cabinet and they work wonderfully again for about another month. I've had these since mid September and have had to charge them twice in that time (the last time they lasted a few weeks but I was in the kitchen cooking much more). Lots of info- hopefully this helps.

Love it
Just got this yesterday. I charged it up, removed plastic from magnet, put sticky pads on cleaned side and worked great! Hubby said to order 3 more but I kind of want to see how long this lasts first. Only problem I can see is that it proved how dark it was under that counter when I could see the top of my paper towel holder that had been there for 25 years. Yuck. Ordered a new towel holder today ππ 1/17/18 - Have ordered 3 2/pk sets of these. One set as a gift for my mother-in-law. Mine are in very busy places so have to charge nearly every week but not so bad since I bought the double usb wall plug. Problem with mine is that they come on when itβs light. Was going to put one on frig for night time water runs but they come on all the time. Not going to take a ste off though

The two ends draw up nicely to the light
I installed these motion-activated lights in a closet under each shelf. In addition to the double-side adhesive tape / foam that comes in the package, there is also a magnetic strip of metal. I chose to drill a single hole in that strip to attach it to the bottom of each shelf with a flat-head screw. The two ends draw up nicely to the light. This should allow for easy remove them when charging is needed. I was skeptical about the motion-activation when I first unboxed them, but it works exactly as you would expect. Extremely pleased with the outcome and visibility this gives my closet.

Easy installation & perfect lighting for me!
This is just perfect! It was smaller than I expected but the strength of the light is amazing especially when I am using it as an under cabinet function. So easy to install and I love that it is magnetic and rechargeable. I charged it first before actually installing it to my cabinet. Decided to buy another one to cover the rest of my cabinets!

Works Better Than Any I've Purchased Before
These little lights are AWESOME. I mounted one over my front door April 10 when it was still snowing in Chicago and it worked flawlessly in the cold. It only comes on at night and only when it senses motion. Although the switch can be put in the "ON" or "OFF" position, as well. I could never get my key in the door in the dark, and it throws a lot of light out for me when I'm at the door. I've got sidelights on either side of the door and even though I walk past these windows indoors at night, it doesn't trigger the light outside, which is great. I've purchased several similar products in the chain stores, but none performed as well as these. And the best part of all is that it DOESN'T USE BATTERIES. It comes with it's own USB charger that you just attach to the unit and plug in and a charge lasts for months. The magnetic strip that the light mounts to (optional) is strong enough to hold it securely over my head, attached to the siding soffit. Highly highly recommend!!!! Okay, it's now been OVER 4 MONTHS and this light is still mounted outside, over my front door. It has continued to work flawlessly. A few days ago I left the switch for the light "ON" for two days by mistake and then had to recharge the light for the VERY FIRST TIME. It has a light that lets you know it's recharging and lets you know when it's fully charged. It doesn't get any better than this! Everyone I know asks what kind it is. Nothing else on the market comes close, in my opinion. I've tried 5 different types of similar lights, all with batteries, and all have worked poorly and burned out their batteries within a week or so.

Perfect for Under Kithcen Cabinets
These little lights are exactly what I needed for under the kitchen cabinets. It is a bonus that they have a motion sensor feature and no batteries. Some reviews complained that the motion sensor "on" isn't long enough. I find it is plenty for times I walk into the room and need a bit of light. If I need extra light for working, I simply move the switch from sensor to full "on". These lights are about 7 inches long but provide a good powerful light. (See picture below with comparison to cellphone and pencil for size) I used Command strips to attach the metal piece to the cabinets instead of the sticker pads that were supplied. (See piture of package contents, 2 lights for low price) Then the light bar is magnetic and attaches to the metal strip. I charged the lights using the USB charge port on my couch before putting them up. (Picture shows fully charged with green light indicator) It took about 20 minutes for a full charge. Great lights at a great price. They seem well made and sturdy. I'm very pleased!

Really Cool Light!
I couldn't be happier with this light. It is the perfect amount of light under a cabinet shelf above my printer and I can finally see to change the ink, add paper, etc. It came partially charged and only took about 5 to 10 minutes to fully charge while plugged into my computer and about two minutes to install, so it was up and running in no time. It is a brilliant idea to tape the metal plate to the shelf and stick the magnetic light to it so it can be easily removed to a power source for charging. I love that it is rechargeable via usb port on my computer and does not need batteries. It comes with a 12" usb cable, which is very short, but works great to plug into a computer. I plan to leave mine turned off and use the switch to turn it on as needed. The switch is very tiny and turning it on moves the light out of alignment with the magnetic strip, but it does not fall off. If this is a big inconvenience, the light could be attached directly to a surface with the sticky tape and charged without having to detach it with a usb cable.long enough to reach a power source. I like that there are multiple installation options. I can think of many more places where I could use this light and probably will get more.

Perfect after disabling the daylight sensor!

Additional safety when using stairs in darkness
I am 69 years old and live in a 2 story townhouse with a stair railing that is metal and 15 steps in length to the upper floor. I frequently use the stairs evenings to and from the upstairs bedroom but sometimes don't turn the overhead lights on. I magnetically attached these lights on the railing posts so as I approach the stairs the motion-activated lights automatically turn themselves on and off illuminating the stair area making it safer and easier for me to use the stairs and avoid making a misstep. A cheap and brilliant way for me to add an extra dose of safety and they are narrow enough so they are not visible to guests !
