I looked at a few SFP modules for my router ...
I looked at a few SFP modules for my router on Amazon that were in the same price range. The products all appeared to be identical except for their branding. Physically they looked identical. So I decided to go with the least expensive of the group. A little over a week later, there are no issues to report. The module works flawlessly. For the price, there is no risk to try it.

It's decent
I didn't see a jump to 1.25Gb, or any improvement at all, but there was no negative impact to performance, either. More or less, I was curious if this product would make any improvement to a Cat6 connection ran approximately 80 ft. I get the same results, but the low price is worth an extra port in my opinion.

Switch OS updated
I bought 2 of these 8 months ago, one of them just died. I expected a longer life for a Transceiver working in my house, but it is still on 24x7. Let's see how long the 2nd one last. I ordered another brand to replaced this defective one, but I'm sure they are all made in China, maybe even the same facility. 3 days later, The 2nd one died. However, I upgraded the OS to (5.4.2.30) in the "Netgear GS110TP" switch, re-enabled the SFP's and both are working again. So I updated my rating for now.

Just for your convenience
If you run out of ethernet ports on your switch and you have sfp fiber ports this will work for you. Why I bought them was to speed up my network. I did not need them for extra ports. I bought 4 ethernet to fiber converters from Amazon thinking it would fix my bandwidth problem. It did help just a little. I converted ethernet to fiber and back to ethernet with this HiFiber adapter. If you are running a lot of HD video streams from YouTube or IP cameras and you are running out of bandwidth on your ethernet cables you should use strictly fiber optic to connect your switches. Even now I have no problems with them. I have stopped using them because it did not fix my problem. If I ever need an extra port on my switch I will use them again. Positives Quick install. No configuration needed. 1 gigabit speeds. Negatives downgrades your 10 gigabit sfp fiber ports to 1 gigabit speeds. Other than that their is none.
