Use for my shower massage to slow/stop water and lather
I don't like any shower head that doesn't slow water to a trickle because I want to lather up, then rinse without the water running. This solves this purpose. You can leave the water handle on and this shut off valve will stop the water from flowing 100% if you have a leak.

Stopped the Drip!
I bought this to stop an annoying slow drip from the hand-held shower head when the faucet is turned off. We had replaced the faucet a while ago but it didn't stop the drip. When we asked a plumber, he said they would have to make a hole in the wall to access the pipes and it would cost something outrageous. Since the drip wasn't very strong, I thought maybe a shut-off valve could stop it. We installed it between the pipe and the shower head fixture and used plumber's tape to ensure a good seal, and it does the job! And it doesn't reduce the flow when fully opened, which is something else I was concerned about.

Completely stops the flow of water
This was purchased for my shower which has started to constantly drip water through the shower head (the in-wall valve is going bad). This solution was easy to install and gave me more time to deal with the larger issue. This valve is easy to turn on and off, does not seem to affect water pressure, and completely shuts off the water. No complaints here.

Good quality solid. NOT NPT THREADS
Good quality solidly constructed clean threads works as it should It’s heavy with a firm and smooth operating valve. THESE ARE NOT NPT THREADS they are similar to pipe threads however they are not tapered and the threads are not designed to seal The seal is achieved using a washer

Great for controlling water pressure too!
I recently modified a shower head to remove the flow limiter, but sometimes it makes more sense for me to not have the shower on full blast and have it at just a trickle, say, when washing the dogs, or shaving. This valve is perfect for that! I can either limit the water flow to just a trickle or shut it off completely. Also, when it is open I do not have any reduction in pressure. I strongly recommend this valve.

FULL WATER FLOW -- DOES NOT REDUCE IT AT ALL!
This was the least expensive shower shut-off that does NOT REDUCE WATER FLOW. I purchased two other types claiming that water flow was not reduced -- WRONG! Look at the photo and you will see the open ball valve obstructs nothing! Of course, if you want less flow, just turn the handle till you get the pressure you want. Note: The description says to turn off water at the valve when you are finished -- that this ball-valve will not hold back water indefinitely. But I left it for 7 days with full water pressure -- and no drips. An even better product than the manufacturer claims. Turns righty-tighty to shut off, so no guessing

Just as advertised, we had a very leaky shower ...
Just as advertised, we had a very leaky shower valve, put this on the shower head and saved lots of money by not calling a plumber to fix!

Very precise flow control
This installed easily and works very well in precisely controlling the water flow on our shower - a great water saver. The prior "button" valve was basically on or off and leaked around the valve when closed. Because this is a ball valve it is able to control the water flow from full on to full off and virtually anywhere in between. The button valve also tended to fail to hold in the closed position at times but this valve seems snug and holds its position well...time will tell, but so far I am really loving this simple little replacement valve to our shower.

Does what it's supposed to do
Well, my shower water valve was leaking a small amount of water through the shower head, and I didn't want to tear it apart to fix it. So, I bought this little gem and installed it between the water rod and the shower head, and turned it to the off position. Voila, no more dripping water from the shower head. You do need to remember to turn the valve on and off as required. Works great so far !!

Just what I needed
I don't like "water saver" shower heads. So I purchase a cheap one from Walmart and drill out the "water saver" orifice enough that I have sufficient water flow. Only the last shower head that I purchased I drilled out too much and it was too much flow for even me! So I figured that I would try this valve for my current mistake and all of my future drilling mistakes, and it works perfectly. I am able to adjust the water flow to just the right amount and even turn it off completely. I've been using it now for about 3 months and I have no complaints, works great!
