Unusual application

We visited new neighbors for dinner , and the man of the house used kitchen shears to cut up his kids food ( and his own) My wife has impairment in one hand from a stroke , and sometimes has difficulty cuting steak with a knife and fork so we gave it a try . They work much better for her , but she doesn't like it when I call her Sharon Sizzorhands !

Great Scissors Low Price

These are very good, inexpensive kitchen scissors. We use them for many kitchen chores. The most demanding is "butterflying" a turkey. This involves cutting through the rib bones, separating them from the backbone (which is removed). This is heavy-duty work, normally performed by my cherished Henkels - which cost 3 times as much but was missing in action. I was kind of surprised when these inexpensive shears did the work and did it well. We have to rethink our attitude about cutlery, and these shears are a good place to start.

Sharp, multi-functional, soft grip, sturdy ...

I lost my kitchen shears during a move. I was heartbroken... and after turning everything inside out, I knew I'd never survive with my kitchen shears. So to Amazon! Naturally I found many to choose from. I needed sturdy, multi-functional, easy to grip and operate. I found the perfect replacement for my lost shears, and these are even a few steps up! I made an excellent choice, and highly recommend these shears. They do not disappoint.

My old kitchen utility scissors disappeared. I don't think my cats ran off with them and my hubby remained suspiciously silent every time I mentioned that my kitchen scissors were missing. Oh well. I gave up the search and ordered these kitchen shears and they work well for my purposes. I keep these a kitchen drawer for easy access. On the other hand, my new hair scissors are hidden. :)

3rd pair ordered

I had a pair for about 3 years and I decided to get a second pair for a just in case situation. They are sharp and heavy duty. Then about a week ago I realized that my daughter was going to need a pair for her kitchen in her college apartment. They are multi-purpose and she can use them for so much. I even went so far to put them in her Easter Basket. She was thrilled! I think it helps for her to think about being on her own and starting her own life. I have a few things to pass down, but my scissors stay with me to the bitter end.
