This is my favorite filament to date
Really like this CC3D silk gold. Everything comes out looking fancy. My spool developed a problem and the seller immediately sent me a replacement spool. Top notch customer service. I liked the gold so much that I bought all of the other CC3D silk colors.

WOW!
This filament is amazing. It is easily the most gold-like filament I have seen. And I've seen... like 3. Anyways, the plastic performs pretty similarly to Hatchbox stuff, good stiffness and yield strength. Seems to break cleanly when it does snap, indicating it has a lower ultimate strength, probably due to the additives. It likes to expand a little bit but shrinks back down quickly, I think this property helps provide a more even surface finish on the sides of prints, and definitely doesn't negatively impact the printing process. The underlying filament color seems to be an orangish-tan blend. This color is visible when your hotend is drooling, or when you try to sand the final print. On that note, this filament is non-sandable. The gold is a surface quality and does not spread throughout the plastic. This gives it a much stronger and more metallic finish but you can only really sand tiny defects on your model without it being noticeable. Absolutely recommended for any parts you want to look like gold.

OMG AMAZING!!!
This is the most gorgeous gold filament I've ever seen! It was super easy to print too. Wow. Just wow. It looks like *real gold*! I've bought four different "gold" filaments and this one is like 1000x better than all of them combined. The others don't even *remotely* look like gold. This one, however, ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE GOLD! It's blowing my mind how amazing this filament looks. Seriously: This stuff is unbelievably good-looking. Printed that vase at 215°C with a hardened steel nozzle on an Original Prusa i3 MK2. If you're using a brass nozzle (like most folks) you'll probably find that 205°C is a better temperature (steel doesn't transfer heat as well as brass).

Finally an actual gold look.
Outstanding filament! The color is nothing less than superior to any other brand you'll ever find at any price. Gold is gold finally not yellow like every other brand made. Butter smooth extrusion at many differant temps so it's very adaptable too your model size. On my 3rd roll and haven't had a single problem with adhesion or stringing. I caits hard to beleievent get enough enough of this stuff, dont even second guess this buy just give them your money and enjoy the luster of gold filament finally. Update: I've been using this for awhile and for some crazy bridging also this SILK GOLD filament is the best period it's so amazing

OK, ya. This is the stuff dreams are made with.
O M G !!! This stuff is like BUTTAH!!! Prints out so fine, you'd think that you are printing with liquid gold. It just flows out of that ED3 like cream, laying down that first layer making you feel like Morty standing in the "flat". Layer lines? FOR GET ABOUT IT. It looks like it's still wet, even when it's dry. So silky, so soft, so shiny. I made some wheels for the pumpkin carriage for my daughter-in-law's Cinderella center-piece. She's all "Dude, are those real gold? ". I say no. More valuable than gold, my dear. You wanna buy good fil'? Buy this stuff. Print this stuff. Admire the awesomeness.

Brilliant Gold. Beautiful.
Beautiful shiny gold filament. No real issues with prints. Just uploading pics of prints to this review. Amazon doesn't like my photos files from my Mac I guess, and honestly I'm not going to spend a lot of time getting it to work. I printed out a dragon Jewelry box for my daughters birthday and it is brilliant. it looks like it is made of gold. (Okay I believe I have been able to upload photos using amazon app on phone.) The filament itself is good, not the best but definitely not the worst. I prefer other brands for general print satisfaction but I really have no complaint here. Print is clean. If you want a brilliant shiny gold print, this is it. I will be keeping a roll of this in my inventory for prints that call for shiny gold. The only issue I would say to be aware of when printing this is for supports. If you have support contact with the shiny surface it will mar. So minimize support interaction with shiny surface, sanding and finishing is not shiny like surrounding untouched surface.

Good Filament, once you understand it.
The filament was well packed and the vacuum sealed bag is also a Zip lock. The bag had a desiccant pack inside. The Spool was well wound, and dry. This is a very high pearlescent filament. My experience with these kinds of filament, is that they are softer, but very smooth. They really fight with your extruder. They either grip, or slip. When they slip they are easily worn where the extruder bites in, causing jams. Because of this, I find that higher extruder temps create a less viscous flow and less back pressure. 228ºC on my MK3 is spot on. Other then that my standard PLA profiles work perfectly. The gold is very yellow in color and has a nice presentation. I printed a E-Calibration Vase box and found my E- multiplier was spot on. The 0.40 mm vase mode box was strong, and showed no sign of weakness or layer delamination issues. My first object is currently printing. I don't see anything unexpected or horrific with the filament, I like it and would purchase more, when needed. Extruder 228º Bed 60º speed 70 mm/sec on a Prusa I3 MK3. Note, I use lower Accelerations and Jerk setting, it really makes these kinds of filaments print better.

Absolutely beautiful gold filament but has gotten too expensive and is no longer Prime available
This is some very nice gold color filament, actually the best gold color I have yet to use. It takes a little work to get it printing nicely but once you do it is amazing. I would LOVE to see other colors come from this company such as copper, bronze, steel, etc. If they could get those colors to look this good I would be hooked. Unfortunately they have decided to place a big increase on the price of this filament. I'm sorry, but this filament is nice but not worth $30 a roll. If it was Prime available I might spend that much but they have since decided not to use Prime so they have lost me as a customer.

Want gold? This is your Fort Knox!
If you are looking for gold, look no more! I am keeping a very keen eye on this seller's filament. Note for Cura users: ironing isn't good for this filament's shine, so disable that option if you want maximum shine!

Prints smooth as silk, beautiful
No stringing or globbing up like 'Inland' PLA+. Beautiful shiny finish. Prints smooth as silk at 210C with a 60C bed on a Prusa MK3S. My favorite filament so far regardless of the color.
