Great pan, rack can be hard to get really clean.

I love the roasting pan!! It is exactly what I was looking for, easy clean up, nothing sticks to the pan.

Nice roasting pan. Could be a TAD deeper for chicken or turkey--but for roasting something that creates a lot of grease or gravy, this is a nice pan because the non-stick coating is easy to clean. The rack is also coated. I spend a lot of time scrubbing down my stainless pan if I use it, the downside of roasting. Easy to toss in the oven, but the clean up takes time after because you have to really scour the rack and bottom of the pan. This pan makes cleanup a lot simpler. This pan is good for roasting vegetables, grilling or baking fish, and chicken but it's not deep enough for a turkey.

Love this pan. Extra large size, great for large pieces. Easy clean up and I put the rack in the dishwasher and it comes out spotless!!

This is one substantial roaster. It's the second one I've ever owned. My first was given to me back in my bachelor days by a friend of my mother in the early 1980s. It was aluminum, and had that sort white-ish, spotty-looking non-stick stuff on the inside, and bright red paint on the outside. It came with other stuff too that matched. There was a nice mixing bowl, a spatula, and a couple of other kitchen utensils that any young bachelor can use when he’s just starting out in his first apartment. I loved that roaster, but alas, it was old and tired, and I, being a fan of Rachael Ray's, thought I would give her product a shot. Just a few days after ordering, it showed up where I work because one day the crazy mail person left me a note that she couldn’t deliver a package to me at home because there wasn't enough room to U-turn in my driveway. Well, that's just nonsense, I thought... why would you need to U-turn in someone’s driveway? Those mail trucks have perfectly workable transmissions, with probably a nice shifting option for reverse, so all you have to do is back out, but it's not my place to question the crazy mail person on her knowledge of the vehicle she drives, and I'd just as soon not have her driving anywhere near my house if she doesn't know about the reverse gear option that I believe is available in most, if not all vehicles, be they government-owned or private. Anyway, I got the pan home and opened the box. Everything was nicely packaged in plastic, and cardboard, and the reversible grate looked pretty darned spiffy. You can cook at two different heights with the grate by flipping it one way or the other, and I gave some thought as to which height I would use when I cooked with it the first time. It seems to me that the lower setting would be the best since I was only cooking a chicken, and not a turkey. A turkey would probably require the taller setting because of the amount of drippings, but I haven’t tried to cook a turkey in it yet. I usually cook my turkeys on the ol’ Weber kettle. I like to roast in the BBQ using the indirect-heating method, which makes the juiciest turkeys EVER! I usually use hard maple for a little smoke flavor. Alder and cherry are really tasty too. I soak chunks of it in water for a couple of days while the turkey is defrosting so the wood won’t be too dry and burn up right away when you throw it in with the charcoal brickets. I gave the roaster 5 stars because I really like it, but I have to say that the grate is more difficult to clean than described. It does take a little elbow grease, and some patience, but the roaster itself is a breeze. I like that the handles are mounted on the outside of the roaster. Craziest thing, one of the competitor’s roasting pans have the handles mounted on the inside! Well, not in Clark County’s kitchen. I use the roaster almost every night. I’ve cooked chickens, chicken parts, hamburger patties, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and LOTS of jalapenos. I had roasted Brussels sprouts in a restaurant one time that had bacon on them, and it was so good that I thought I’d try it in my new roaster pan. It turned out great! I took a bunch of Brussels sprouts, cut them in half, and spread them out a bit in the pan, then I added a bunch of chunks of bacon, then slices of jalapenos and a little olive oil sprinkled on top... oh, and a little salt and pepper, of course. Around 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and it was delicious. I roasted some cauliflower the same way, but I forgot the bacon. It still turned out pretty tasty. I remember that I was going to try to cook something else in it, but now I can’t think of what it was. I’d definitely recommend the Rachael Ray pan if you’re in the market. It’s a little more expensive, but judging by how long I kept my first pan, this one should be around for a long time. Yours Truly, Clark County

Boy where to start. It handles very easily. Very strong / sturdy. But again handles easily. Cleans up with a paper towel and into the dishwasher. Beyond satisfied

This one is a keeper for sure! I've used this now for several recipes and applications, from roasting meats and oven-frying to roasting veggies and it has performed above expectations every time. I might add this makes an exceptional frozen/breaded roaster/fryer with the baking rack, you don't have to flip the food halfway through the cook time. This pan is built very sturdy with heavy riveted handles nice rolled-aluminum edges all around. The rack is reversible creating a two-tier roasting height depending on your needs. Cleanup is a breeze as well. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but if the non-stick coating hold up, it will be well worth every penny.

This roasting pan is fantastic! It is a well made high quality pan and I am very happy with it. The pan itself is very easy to clean as is the rack; even with dried on food! It has held up well over the past several months of use; I foresee many more years of use out of this one!

I was at my sisters house and she had used this same roasting pan and she went on and on about how much she liked it. So, when I got a chance to get one I was excited. For anyone who loves cooking this is a dream. It's not overly heavy, nonstick and has a removable, nonstick rack that lifts enough that food cooks nice and brown on the bottom. I also like that it has wide stainless steel handles for easy lifting. It's 16x12 so it works great for whole chicken, roasts or even a turkey. I'm so happy with this item. I love everything Rachael Ray!
