Easy To Use

A lightning strike fried my old mechanical Rain Bird timer. I really liked how simplistic it was and was afraid an electronic version would be more difficult. Could not have been more wrong. This is a great easy to use and intuitively laid out 8 zone timer. Super easy to set-up.

These are really great.

I really like these units. I have 3 of them and they really were fairly simple to setup. Also purchased the Wifi adapter however I kinda wish I could get them on their own cellular network for some remote area's where installed but they still work! Would highly recommend.

Super purchase

Super easy to install and operate. Just splice wires and mount the unit, took maybe 30 min start to finish. Only caveat is to be sure you know what type pump and valves you have, electric or pressure activated. I was changing out a 20 yr old Rain Bird so no worries there but if in doubt call their service and support unit, they can probably help you figure things out.

This product replaced a previous model which did not support wi-fi. The upgrade was simple. The wi-fi addition is fantastic.

Easy to install

I used this to replace an old unit. The installation and wiring was easy. It took about 15 minutes to switch out the units. Make sure to take a picture of the wiring on the old unit before replacing.

Very easy to install and very easy to wire up

Very big improvement over my 17 year old Rain Bird 408 controller. Very easy to install and very easy to wire up. Just mark your zone numbers on the wire from the old unit to the new unit. Very easy to program. My ESP-TM2 is the 8 station model for my 7 stations. The big box stores stock only the 4 station or 12 station models. This model also has the capability of using the wireless module. Display is very visible. No battery for backup power.

WiFi Module is a game changer

I added the wifi module, which was a game changer. I have complete control of my irrigation system without ever having to go outside. This will be very useful when I am away this summer.
