Sharp!

As a Senior beginner carver/whittler I was looking for knife that would be comfortable in my hand. This knife is very comfortable. It arrived sharp out of the box. The fact that is came with two band aids attested to its sharpness. I would order again

So far so good. Seems super sharp, very comfortable handle, and a great value. It’s a week old, let’s see how she does in a year but I do believe this will be a solid and go to knife for me.

Value priced

The price is right on for a new Carver. The blade is the size I was looking for for roughing out and have found I can do detail work with it too. Blade not real sharp and the handle not finished, However; I am very happy with this knife. A little stropping and some Danish oil and I have a very nice knife. Very happy and will look to buy more from this company.

Good quality for the price.

Awesome Knife!

This order I received before I was a fan of Beaver Craft, I was looking for some carving knifes with a good grind for carving. I had previously been using pocket knifes or home made carving knifes. I chose them ultimately for the price, and the reviews were good. The knife arrived and I was extremely happy with the quality, the edge was very nice, and only required minimal cleaning and stropping to obtain an extremely sharp blade, that is easily maintained with stropping. Highly recommend!

Great knife

I carve spoons and bowls and sell them at my local farmers market. Most of my knives are mora's. But i bought this one and wow it is as good as my mora's fir half the price. I have carved two spoons and can't complain. Comfortable handle razor sharp. Going to buy another. On instagram @whidbeyhandcarved

Very happy. Came very sharp

Very happy. Came very sharp, on time, and in correct packing. I carved a rough shape(soft wood but took about an hour and a half) and the blade was still sharp enough to cut me if I wasn't careful with it. Couldn't be happier

Sharp enough to do everything I need

I am completely new to carving, but having tried with an ordinary penknife I realized I'd never carve anything recognizable with such a blunt blade. I sent for this because the reviews were good and the price was right. This knife is SHARP and I have the bloody fingers to prove it! I would have liked some kind of sheath for it rather than the paper cover it came with, so I will make my own sheath, but that is the only complaint and it is minor.

Good knife

I am a beginner+, but this knife is quite good. It is sharp and I wish I had bought the sheaf for it. I also need to get kevlar glovers. It is very sharpenable.

A great, simple carving knife

I just purchased this carving knife and have used it a little. I like its sharpness, the quality of the steel and the feel of the handle. It came at a great price and I would but it again and recommend it. This is not just for beginners, It is a good carving tool for normal use.
