but this one is my favorite because of the way the plugs attach to the ...
As many people have stated, this is not a step down converter but just a prong adapter. I have purchased several of these adapters over the years, but this one is my favorite because of the way the plugs attach to the unit (the plugs attach to the back of the unit through a sliding mechanism that locks them in place). Personally, I dislike the units that are like a "swiss army knife." This unit is just a more ergonomic and practical design when compared to other products. I like that it has two outlets and two USB ports plus a micro USB cable. Also convenient is the two lights indicating what kind of voltage the unit detects. Comes with a ver convenient carrying bag. The manufacturer does a good job with the presentation, as the unit comes very well packed in a box with instructions. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favor and choose this adapter.
This Celtics World Travel Adapter Kit was so great on out trip to Ireland! I have a CPAP machine and lots of iToys, plus a Kindle, etc. I loved having two outlets plus two USB plug ins for my iPads and Kindle, phone, and so forth. I would definitely recommend this one. It is very well made and really easy to use. No worries about having to get a different one for another trip to a different country will all the adapters you get with this. I just put the two we needed and the plug in unit in a small bag and it worked slick. I was worried I might forget it in a hotel but with the bag sitting on the nightstand to remind me there was no problem. Besides, I liked to too much to forget it.

Phenomenal Adapter
tl;dr If you seek a great travel adapter, look no further. Holy cow, what an awesome adapter! I used this on a two-week trip through Belgium and Ireland, and it was splendid. I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't explicitly need a voltage converter (and few things do these days). For the price (and the small size/weight!), just get this plus a converter. Some of my favorite features include: - Two USB ports and outlets - perfect if you're traveling with someone and/or happen to have a lot of electronics - A micro-USB charger on a cable for that extra electronic device that didn't bring its charger along... - Two lights showing what voltage is present at the plug-in outlets that you can check before you toast whatever thing you're plugging in - Super solid and simple construction. Changing the plug was a five-second process, and everything was made out of solid plastic with good electrical contacts. Safe, foolproof, and sturdy. - A bag to carry everything: amazingly useful for keeping all the parts from scattering around a backpack. - The plugs are configured so that the adapter is vertical with the standard configuration, and also includes two US adapters so you don't hog all the airport jacks. The only minor complaint is also kind of a good thing: the first couple days I slid the Belgium plug in and out of the adapter, it was pretty stiff forcing it onto the electrical contacts at the bottom. However, in time, these loosened enough that I could insert it with little effort. All of the other plugs fit just fine. No worries about bad electrical contact!

Much better than other travel adapters I've used
I had some upcoming travel to Europe and wanted a new travel adapter solution. I already have some of the cheap "cube" style adaptors, and wanted something more reliable and versatile. I really liked using this adapter in various European countries. Here's the highlights: Pros: • The unit itself is sturdy, and the way each plug type slides into the back of the unit with a satisfying "click" is much better than the janky "slide out" plug type of other travel adapters. • I like how it tells you when you are connected to 220V so you are aware of the current. • The 2 USB chargers and additional micro USB charger was a great setup - I could simultaneously charge my iPhone X, Apple Watch and Anker Slim Powercore backup battery. • If you really wanted to, since it comes with a standard US / North American plug type, you can use it as a normal power adapter when not traveling abroad (for non-North America folk, you can do the same with the plug type of your country). • Liked how it could all be cinched up in the travel bag that comes with it. Cons: • Depending on how many countries you're traveling to / different plug types you need, it's not as compact as the all-in-one adapters, but for most trips where you'll only need one or two distinct plug types, this isn't an issue. • I do like how sturdily the plug itself slides into the back of the unit (the aforementioned satisfying click), but sometimes it can be difficult to remove the plug adapter and swap it for a different one (or remove it entirely for packing). But, I'd rather have that problem than the plug feeling loose and not a nice fit. Overall, I'd highly recommend this as the most versatile and reliable travel adapter I have used.

Useful even when you aren't traveling.
This adapter contains inserts that click in place for international adapters. Comes with a little felt bag to hold the ones you aren't using. It has both 2 & 3 prong US adapters. It not only has two USB ports, but it has a built-in Micro USB. All these USB options, plus the two plugs, means you can get use out of this at home when you aren't traveling. The US adapters fit a little better than the international ones: the US adapters sit "flush", the international ones stick out (I believe to deal with recessed plugs). With the US adapters, you can use the top of the unit as a phone shelf if you have an outlet at the right level. There's even a light that tells you if its 220 or 110. I've really got nothing bad to say about this, except maybe wishing the built-in micro USB cable was a little longer.

Great Charger with Adapters for International Sockets
We used this product on a 24 day trip to Great Britain. It performed as advertized: 2 USB ports provided charging for our iPhone and Galaxy S7 phone as well as an Olympus TG-4 camera and a Garmin Montana GPS. The unit has a built-in micro USB cord that we used to charge our Kindle readers. The 2 grounded US type sockets in the front accommodated my Nikon camera battery charger. The spacing of the 2 grounded sockets is my only reservation: they are very close together and if you were trying to use them both at the same time, you may find there isn't adequate room. Some reviewers have criticized the durability of the connection between the socket adapters and the unit. Unless there have been recent changes, I can only conclude operator error. The unit I received held the GB adapter plug very firmly - I can't separate the 2 parts without actuating the latch that holds them together. Also the supplied Great Britain plug fit all the wall sockets we encountered perfectly. I have not used the Ceptics World Travel Adapter long enough to comment on its durability except to say it functioned with out problems for the 3+ week trip and looks as if it will keep on working without breaking. I recommend this unit to any traveler, domestic or international, who needs an all in one charging station.

Great for family travel
We are currently in Ireland and have just begun to use the Ceptics Travel Adapter. So far it's great. Allows us to charge our three devices simultaneously from just one outlet. I'm very happy I bought it. UPDATE: we just completed our 12 day trip and we absolutely loved this thing. It worked flawlessly. One note of caution: I'd avoid using high power appliances with it, like hair dryers. In the past we'd blown the fuse in another adapter and didn't want to run the risk with this device. But we had three cell phones and/or tablets plugged in simultaneously without any trouble.

Excellent and Portable Product
Used the UK adapter in several locations in Great Britain and Scotland and worked wonderfully. No problems when my wife had a curling iron with cellphones attached at the same time. Worked as advertised and provided all of the power we needed.

So great!
One of the European converters (of some reason there are two) does not fit the adapter well and keeps on sliding out, but the others are great and since there are two that works in northern Europe, it really doesn't matter that one of them keeps on sliding out. And it't not a flaw of my particular adapter kit, it is a design flaw. Besides that, it is an amazing kit with two outlets and two holes for USB charging. However, the whole thing is bulky and not very smooth to bring along in the carry on, but of course do-able. I wish it had come with a better container instead of just a bag where you worry things are going to break. But the adapter kit is so great that I gave it 5 stars anyway.

Good assortment of plugs for most countries
Worked perfectly for my trip to United Arab Emirates. Be careful... this unit does not convert 220/240 volts to 110/120 volts. It only allows you to plug your USA plugs into various plugs around the world. You should only use this if your device supports a variety of voltages from 110-240 volts. Most phone chargers and laptop power supplies are rated to handle 100-240VAC. Those types of devices will work perfectly with this adapter. Other things, like hair dryers, hair curlers, and similar devices... you need to read the power input requirements for the device.
