Excellent product, price, and promise!
I needed a new blood pressure monitor ASAP because my old Braun wrist monitor was not working properly and was not very accurate. Also, I was being switched from Valsartan medication due to the FDA recall. I needed to know if the new medication I was prescribed was controlling my blood pressure or not. I spent a few hours reading reviews on the best Bluetooth monitors on different websites and this brand kept coming up as a reliable product. I also wanted a few extra features such as easy to read numbers, pulse reading, irregular heartbeat detector, records data, and has a power adapter. I found that the Greater Goods Bluetooth BPM had everything I wanted and I liked all the extras I got such as a cloth carrying case, batteries, and a power adapter! Some of the other Bluetooth monitors cost more and had less features! Greater Goods and Amazon promised delivery in one day and I had my monitor in one day! I synced the Balanced Health app to my iPhone with no problems. The company has a video and paper manual that shows you how to set up your BPM and sync your cell phone to it! My husband and I both took our blood pressure and his matched pretty close to what his doctor had written down the day before at his yearly checkup. I checked my blood pressure at different times throughout the day and it consistently came close to the first reading so I did not see any huge fluctuations. I will check it with my doctors blood pressure monitor next week. Overall, I give this product an excellent rating!

Great quality, easy to use, work great with iPhone, and better than my prior Omron 10
This product is a really great value all the way around. I upgraded from an Omron 10 series that was less than 2 years old and already broke. The Greater Goods blood pressure cuff monitor has all the identical features that my Omron 10 did: Support for 2 user, validation of a good reading, it is fast to read, and the results are very accurate and repeatable. Best of all, this unit has a fantastic and well designed iPhone app. To use the iPhone app, simply open the iPhone and open the app. Then, take the blood pressure reading as normal. Upon completion of the blood pressure reading, the results are automatically and wirelessly transmitted to the iPhone app. No user action is required at all. The physical hardware seems solid and all the buttons seem to be good quality with have positive tactile feedback. The only negative for me is that the blood pressure cuff is gigantic, over double the size that my wife or I need. It would be nice if this unit came with different size cuffs. However, all the competing products come the same way with a gigantic cuff too, so this must be the way the industry keeps costs down. Well done Greater Goods! This is a well engineered, well-built blood pressure cuff monitor at a fantastic price point.

Top notch product for a fair price!
After reading many reviews on Amazon, I decided to try this one. While I have only had it for a few days, I can honestly say that I am thrilled with it. (I was replacing an Omron that was a couple of years old, and seemed to give me an error message every third reading until it finally stopped functioning all together.) The price of the Greater Goods BP monitor is reasonable, and the functionality is top notch. The instructions are written in a complete and user-friendly way, making it easy to set up the Bluetooth app on my phone, which is so helpful in terms of keeping track of the readings. I also appreciated the fact that the instruction booklet fully explains both how and when/what conditions should exist in terms of taking accurate readings. I have been doing it incorrectly for years, and now feel like I am getting proper and consistent readings. The company encourages you to call if you need any further instruction or have questions in a way that seems personal. So far, it is fabulous- I love it!

Very Good BP Monitor
Due to recent health concerns, I needed to begin monitoring my blood pressure at home. I bought this monitor because of the good things I read about the product and the company. When I received the monitor, I tried it a few times the first day and it worked great. When I got the monitor out of the case the next day, it would not work. I contacted Greater Goods via email and they responded VERY quickly with suggestions to try. Unfortunately, the suggestions did not resolve the problem. I again notified Greater Goods and again they responded very quickly. The bottom line is I was able to replace the monitor with the same model and Greater Goods even offered me a discount. The new monitor is working great. I also love having the app on my phone that automatically records the readings and shows a chart over time. I highly recommend this product and this company to anyone considering buying a BP monitor. Great product, amazing customer service, and great company that really stands behind their products. I'm pretty happy about the whole experience. Update: I also took the BP monitor to a doctor appointment and used it right after my blood pressure was taken by the nurse. The reading by this monitor was spot on, matched the reading taken by the nurse. I'm happy with the accuracy.

Greater Goods BP Monitor: Thoughful Design and Patient Friendly
I treat patients with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and monitoring not only glucose levels but also blood pressure is an importance cornerstone of a treatment plan designed to limit the micro and macro vascular complications of diabetes. I bought this sphygmomanometer, (blood pressure monitor and cuff) to see how easy it would be for my patients to set-up and monitor their own BP levels at home, I could also use it as an adjunct in the office. When I received it from Amazon, it was very thoughtfully packaged with many references for home setup included. I downloaded the Balanced Health App and also integrated it with my own Apple Health. Everything is included in the package from the Vendor and set-up is very easy. There is also an A and B toggle switch for tracking different individual home measurements. I am also a big stickler for attention to detail particularly managing patients and even thoughtful accessories like an attached Velcro strip show great attention to ensuring user satisfaction. I took several readings and doing a comparative they were all within acceptable range of four measurement values. For those patients who I want to monitor at home or even as an adjunct for my office this will be my choice based upon ease of use, thoughtful design, accuracy and attention to detail.

Glad I found this one!
What a great product! I'm really glad that I purchased this, not so glad I needed to. You could feel the quality from the box it came in and the first thing I saw was a pretty blue foldout that said "HAPPINESS" and noticed it had plenty of contact info and basic info. There is an adapter for wall power and they were even generous enough to include batteries (thanks!). Everything about the product feels well made and of quality materials. I put it together followed the screen prompts and checked my blood pressure without even reading the instructions. I then downloaded the app, followed the instructions and was connected through bluetooth with ease. I did a few tests (sorry arm) and it works great. I'm very thankful it came with a bag so I can keep it nice. I wouldn't mind a smaller cuff but then I would be limited on who I could share it with. Overall I would say this is well worth the price paid especially in comparison to the others. ** Update: The batteries take a beating and keep on going. As far as accuracy goes, I tested myself, drove to the drug store and tested, came back and tested and the results were consistent.

I really like this BP monitor
I really like this BP monitor. But if you have large arms, the cuff won't work for you unless you use it on your forearm. It comes packed in a nice little carry bag, which I really appreciate. Our old BP monitor didn't have a case, and the unit was larger and bulkier and harder to handle. This unit comes with batteries and a power adapter. The included "brand X" batteries lasted about 2 weeks of using the monitor 2x per day. I have been using the monitor with the included power adapter, but will be replacing the batteries with brand name batteries soon to see if they last any longer than the originals. I haven't done the bluetooth thing with the app yet, but I can scroll back through the recorded readings stored on the unit. The only thing I don't like on this monitor is that when you press the ON button, the unit immediately begins airing up to take a reading. Sometimes I want to power it up just to scroll thru the previous readings, but I can't do that until it has done it's "thing."

Sends to my iPhone, goes into Apple's health App and I send it to Doctor. Works Great!
I try to tell my doctor I have a V-12 engine for a heart and not some puny V-6, I was asked to monitor my BP. Apparently 200 over 130 is Bad or something and he wanted me admitted. It's been like that for at least 10 years. I feel fine. But ok... This puppy sends all the data to my iPhone in which I send to doctor from Apple's Health App. We are getting it down to 160 over 105 but now I have to take some beta blockers or some such :) (I'm not doctor and have no idea I was blocked from beta testing something) Looking at some of you through this screen, you are just shaking your head... I SEE YOU! I'm working on it.

Awesome! Shows irregular heartbeat.
I love that I can track my blood pressure on an app using Bluetooth. Also really appreciate that I can either use the power cord or batteries to operate! Easy to use & fits my larger than average arm with lots of room to spare. Great buy at a great price. My pic shows the irregular heartbeat indicator.

Great Product and even greater customer service.
This monitor works very well and the blue tooth app is great. As like many electronic products these days do, unfortunately the electronics failed after only 1 month. It just wouldn't turn on with new batteries or with the power supply. I must give the company high marks on customer service though. I called the customer service number at 8:00 PM and got an immediate agent named Katy who trouble shot the item within minutes and issued a complete refund within hours. She also provided a 20% discount code to be used towards the purchase of a replacement. Within two days, I had a total refund, a discount code, and the replacement at my doorstep. I would highly recommend this product and this company.
