My grandchildren like my much more expensive kaleidoscope. I purchased this one for them for Christmas. It is amazing! I hate to part with it ;-) It is sized perfectly for children. I know they will love it!

Retro fun

When the kaleidoscopes came, I was surprised how small they were (didn't pay attention to those details). The main body is about 7&1/2 inches long and it has two tubes that are about 6 inches long. I have come to like the size as I am giving them to my 3 & 5 year old grandkids so they should fit well in their hands. Also should be easy to pack into a purse or whatever. The main body has holes you put the tubes through. The tubes have rubber-bands that hold them in place. You can twist the tubes to start the show or as I like to do, just tilt it side to side as the gel inside the tubes move...or you can do both! It is never the same which makes it pretty cool and you can opt for using one tube or both. I think this would be a good way for children to slow down before bed, although you do need some kind of light to have on to see the colors. Little ones would probably need help inserting the tubes into the main body but pretty easy to handle. I bought two so no fighting, lol.

To Your Eyes Delight

I saw a smaller version of this recently while on vacation. I regretted not buying it and searched on Amazon for thi not even knowing what it was called, just some type of fluid kaleidoscope....well, Amazon ALWAYS knows what I want and pulled up this GloFX! To my absolute delight, it is of much better quality than the first one I'd seen on vaca! I ❤ this thing! It also comes with 2 fluid/oil wands. It will give you that peaceful easy feeling with a colorful magical calm....don't know how else to explain it, but I know you'll love it too! I am ordering more for gifts.

Spectacular Kaleidoscope!!

Loving kaleidoscopes, and, having never seen a liquid one before, I thought this might be something interesting to try. Wow!! Interesting doesn't even begin to describe this amazing creation! I got lost in it for the longest time, just watching the beautiful colors swirl about -- sometimes fast, and other times very slowly. One of the really cool things about this kaleidoscope is that the two color wands that it comes with are completely interchangable, thus creating an entire other world of color displays. The whole thing is just gorgeous, and truly, I have found only one problem with this beauty -- getting it back when I let my friends see it!! I highly recommend this kaleidoscope, whether you are already a fan of such things, or are a newcomer to the experience, you will be very pleased!! And it's by far the most affordable stress reliever I have ever found! I'll definitely be shopping with this seller in the future! My package arrived very quickly and in excellent, well-protected shape, and the seller contacted me via email to ensure receipt of and satisfaction with their product, which was nice. Happy viewing!
