Works well, not sure why it exists though.

I don't know why CG has so many different car washes, but here's another one. I typically use CG Glossworkz, or CG Citrus Wash & Gloss, those are my go-tos. I typically use Glossworkz as a maintenance wash as it won't strip wax. I'll use Citrus Wash and Gloss (diluted) in the foam cannon as a pre-wash foam as it's not PH balanced as does a good job breaking down road film. I was just about ready to use up the last of the of my Glossworkz but before I reordered, I decided to give Extreme Bodywash a shot. It seems to be very similar to Glossworkz but with a different color and smell. It also has some wax in it, but I couldn't tell much difference. It's purple and smells a lot like Dimetapp (the cough/cold medicine). It performs about the same as Glossworkz, but with a slight bit more lubricity, and slightly less foaming ability. It is PH balanced to the point where it won't strip wax, so you can get more aggressive with the dilution if you want more lubricity and/or foam and not have to worry about stripping your existing wax/sealant. Overall it's a fine wash, but CG already has 4 or 5 very good to excellent car washes to begin with. I don't know why they feel the need to have a dozen versions of single product.

It’s everything they claim it is

Product showed up on my door step this morning on time, and in great condition. Boxed neatly and sealed in a tamper proof rapper. Took it to the yard to wash my rig, that I wash quite frequently! I’ve use other chem guys products like wax, and degreasers, and interior stuff. This is my first soap from them, I gotta say I’m pleased. ( What I noticed was that the reflection in the paint is more detailed. Also I could see further behind me, when standing in front of my truck! I also noticed that my bucket water was a lot dirtier quicker. The grape smell is true, smells good.) I would purchase again without a doubt! Wax is true, causes water to bead up. I hope that you will enjoy this stuff as I have folks. Peace

Smells good enough to drink

I use this with a microfiber cloth. First off, I have used it 4 times and its very concentrated. Its not the most powerful soap but honestly thats a good thing, on the other hand its lather does do well getting bug guts and normal road splatter but you won’t be using this to remove tar. You can just feel how slick this stuff is when you reach in your bucket. Even my hands felt soft after I was done. It does not leave a mind blowing coat of wax on but there is one and its immediately noticeable during and after wash. IMHO I have tried many soaps typically what it offered in automotive and big box stores, and this is superior well worth the money!!

It does a great job cleaning bugs and tar off

I have been detailing cars for quite some time now. I have used 100s of car shampoos, and this one has to beat them all. If you are washing your car every week, this will leave a "just waxed" feeling. It does a great job cleaning bugs and tar off. I use it in a foam cannon, and it foams up just as good as Maxi Suds. The scent is great as well. For its price, nothing can beat this.

This stuff works great and adds a nice shine to the car without having to wax after.. simply wash and dry! This does work pretty well at removing most bugs.. some might need a harder scrubbing. But overall I'm very happy with this car wash! Chemical guys are the best.

It’s soap. Very impressive soap.

Always looking for something that is effective in cleaning the mud and dirt off the truck. Something that helps in protecting the paint. Well so far this soap has come thru with what it claims to be able to. Purchased a amazon brand bottle for the pressure washer, added some to the bottle and went to town. It’s not magical as some may think, one will still have to physically touch the vehicle to remove some of the stubborn dirt but the soap does a significant amount of the work. Even removed the stubborn dirt on the undercarriage that just a pressure washer alone couldn’t. The smells are great and the kids enjoy helping out. Will continue to buy. Also their interior detailed relievers on its claims as well. Not leaving that ugly greasy shine. It leaves it like it just came off the factory floor.

A Pleasant Surprise

After I purchased this, I found out it is one of Chemical Guys older products. I got it to use in my new Worx Hydro Shot with soap bottle. It worked great, making lots of foam. It rinsed clean on a 92 degree afternoon. My car (dark gray metallic 2015 Nissan Altima), towel dried quickly and easily just like if I had used Turtle Wax - Wax and Dry. It left a nice shine and apparently some wax protection from the feel of it. This was a pleasant surprise and I recommend this product.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

I have been using this car wash for a few months now. I have a black truck which has always been difficult to dry off after washing as water spots like to form immediately as it dries. Whatever wax or magical ingredient that is in this car wash allows me to dry my car by actually just driving it! I decided to test out this new way of drying my car because I noticed when I wash it now the water beads up a lot more than it does with previous washing soaps. Soon as I am done washing my truck I get on the road luckily I live near Pacific Coast Highway where I can immediately pick up speed and watch the water just bead right off as I drive. by the time I get home there is very little water left on the car which can easily be wiped very quickly. Not only does this car wash smell amazing as it smells like grapes but it cleans my car fast and makes it look as if I had wax it and allows me to dry it by just driving that fast of course. I use a foam cannon wash attached to my hose to make it even easier. The one thing that I have noticed about this wash is that it does not do well on your wheels as far as getting them clean because whatever wax or polish is in the soap does not cut through the grease and the road grime on your wheels.

The most legit car wash I have ever used

I've been using Meguiar's Gold car wash for many years and honestly have been very happy with it, especially given the price and bottle size! Have also tried several other 'fancy' brands and have never really been blown away.. until I tried this stuff. Wow. Just wow. Even after a _single wash_, the shine left behind is.. intense. This wash suds up great (I use it in the Chemical Guys foam gun) and the lubrication properties it has during a normal wash are awesome. I've begun giving bottles of this stuff as gift to other car enthusiast friends and family. That's how much I am into it. In closing.. if you are just looking for a soap that will clean your car, there are products out there that overall provide dramatically better value and will last you a lot longer. However, if you are an enthusiast that wants to leave a crazy-good shine and provide a fantastic base for a glaze, wax or polish and are willing to pay a bit of a premium for it.. you have found the product to buy.

The absolute best truck wash!

I live in East Texas and we have RED dirt and bugs by the gazillions! I have never used such a great prouduct. Even commercial truck wash products do not compare. Nothing works like this. I mixed this prouduct per directions. Nice foam, smells amazing ! I used a new truck/rv washing brush. Washed in sections in the shade. Rinsed really well. As I moved to the next section and the washed and rinsed section was drying. To my amazement there were no water spots !!! I also use well water. But all of the other brands I have used in the past have always left water spots. The paint was a nice shiny black. The bugs washed right off with no scrubbing. (The real test will come when we have the dreaded Love Bug season. Southerners know how hard these are to remove even on windshields. ) As I finish one side then I do the tires, rims and tire wells before I change my soap and water for the other side. With a new firm bristled brush I began to scrub the tire and the white bristles are turning orange !! ( from the red dirt) so I finish with a good rinse and move to the next tire. As these 2 tires are drying I honestly could not believe the red dirt stains came out. Normal I just use some black magic tire spray to hide the red dirt stains. Now my tires are very black and I really don't have to use the tire spray but I like that look and will continue. This stuff is the best I have ever used. I also used Chemical Guys fabric and carpet cleaner. See my review on that. Chemical Guys if you happen to see my reviews on your products..... Please, Please do not change your formulas. They are perfect the way they are!
