I find these terminals to be a good item. I use them on my Polaris UTV wiring to add power and ground connections. I squeeze them using my vise and get a solid connection. Recommend using heat shrink to protect the connection as a added protection. OEM connection corroded in some locations when wire became exposed to the weather elements. .

Completed the Big-3. Ordered the 1/4 eyelet by accident. It wasn't large enough for the alternator stud and battery piggyback bolts. The 3/8 was perfect. This fit 4 AWG wire perfectly. I crimped with a hammer crimping tool and added solder after. These are nice and heavy. Can't beat this deal compared to about $4 for a pair at Pep Boys!

I have purchased a few different brands and they all ended up being pretty cheap. If you are looking for nice thick copper connectors, then these should do the trick. They crimp just fine and provide a solid connection. Add with them some adhesive shrink tubing, and you'll have a connection that will last. I purchased the version for 6AWG wire which fit perfectly with the wire I have. Pros: Nice thick copper Still easy to crimp Plenty of copper left around bolt hole Easy flared end to help with getting wire into hole Cons: None

Seem like decent quality terminals. Order 25 of them for various radio install projects. Have worked well, crimped just fine. Followed up with a piece of marine grade heat shrink tubing, and they look great.

While not quite superconducting, my fusion reactor did put out a few more millions of neutrons a second after I used these in my prime off-grid solar system. (And I'm not even making that up...)

Review for bare copper 2/0 awg lugs and 4 awg lugs. The good: Made from decently thick copper tubing (.045" wall for the 2/0 awg and .035" for the 4 awg.) Which means that there is enough material to hold the hex crimp well past the mil spec AND nasa pull test ratings. (Buy a hex crimper and stop using those impact 'dimpler' things.) Closed construction. Once crimped, simply cover with a dual wall adhesive shrink tubing and the cable is protected from corrosion. Nice large pad for good clamping surface. The bad: None really. Will buy again when needed. Addendum: If you are used to working with tweco brand lugs for 2/0 awg cable, there IS a huge size difference between those and the selterm lugs. See photo. Top is tweco. Bottom is selterm. Both perform well though and are just a heads up - not a product quality comparison.

Worked great with the Forney 57637 Lug Crimping Tool (also at Amazon) for making new 2 AWG ground cables for my truck. I used a 12 lb. sledgehammer on the tool and it made a great connection--the starter just about throws the engine out of the car now.

Used this to install 2 more batteries and complete my solar install. Worked great. Was able to solder most connections and had to crimp one and that worked really well also. Used heat shrink on all connections to and from the batteries. All worked well. I ended up using all ten. :)

If you're looking at these for car audio, 0 gauge 5145 strand ofc wire, THAT IS AN OVERSIZE WIRE! You need these 2/0 guage terminal lugs to fit that wire. I wish someone would have told me this, i had to figure it out for myself. THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for car audio applications offset foot pad allows it to lay down flat. And if you got more than one going to a bolt and there's room you can put the foot cats back to back and they still lay down flat on each other. HIGHLY RECOMEND the adhesive lined shrink tube to use with this also HIGHLY RECOMEND getting using the hydraulic crimper not a hammer crimper. The hydraulic crimper makes you crimp look clean and professional. I got the 16 ton. The $50 i spent on that crimper was money well spent because of how easy it is to use and how much crimping force it exerts on the lugs. And when you're done with your project you can rent it out to your friends and get your money back!

For whatever reason I find myself making battery cables a lot, and got tired of heading over to NAPA only to find out they didn't have and/or couldn't get some weird gauge-stud combo that I needed. I picked these up because they were available with fast shipping, and I'm not mad at them. They're not quite as solid as what NAPA usually sells, but they are plenty adequate and crimp nicely. I'll definitely come back to these when I need more.
