Great value for the money

I m really amazed by the overall quality of this stand and so many features it brings. Originally I was just trying to buy a stand to replace the current ones I’m using, which are just for viewing but not able to let me type or press on my tablets while being mounted. This stand really wowed me because the metal base and whole structure is so rigid and sturdy, I am now able to do everything on my ipad without ever taking it out of the strong holder, it can hold both my cell phone and large pads just as described. With this price, I am really happy about the deal and even think this can be a good gift choice. The holder expansion is very wide, can fit various devices. The arm, arm base, swivel ball head and holder all rotate and create all kinds of viewing angle very convenient. It even has an Allen key included for adjusting tension of the rotating arm. The holes and wire track at the bottom are well built for charging. It has an extra adapter included to be switched with the holder for mounting those DSLR camera and projectors, nice extra value. included user manual is really simple and easy to read. Will be nicer if the holder can fit the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, pretty sure the weighted base can support those large tablet weights well.

Surprised decent all-in-one universal stand for iphone and ipad

This very well designed and made ipad/iphone stand is far better than I expected. I didn't even realize it could be used as a camera stand for my CANON DSLR 60D! Absolutely perfect in terms of material, quality and reliability. Using it with my iPad mini and iPhone 7+, not only it fits perfectly, but the weighted metal base with 4 rubber pads plus swivel aluminum arm truly provides amazing grip and flexibility. So far this is the best accessory for my Apple ipad/iphone gadgets and a beautiful match to my Macbook pro computer (you can see my photos how I use this tablet stand with my Mac laptop). Solid design with many possibilities, I can setup different angels for different views in different scenarios. use the stand with DSLR to take photos for objects, and then put my ipad on the stand, keep using iOS App to continue the painting work. This abovetek desk stand does ideal job holding the tablet at a very convenient height and angle for me. Styling design, versatile function, compatible to most tablets and cell phones less than 11 inch. the color package box is well made too, worth every dollar paying for this product.

Excellent TABLET STAND...

I was not shopping for a tablet stand but i happen to see great reviews regarding Above TEK Stylish ALUMINUM Tablet Stand.I thought it will be an excellent stand for my Ipad when i practice guitar.I did not thought much of it because of the low price so I relied on the reviews.Received my order today as expected.I was pleasantly surprised and happy for several reasons: construction is top notch.It's well made, sturdy,does not look cheap,simple and easy to use.The base is multidirectional and the top joint has ball bearing design that compliments each function so adjustment of the IPad for viewing is not a problem.I mounted my Nikon D7100 with Nikon DX 55-300 mm lens and it held without any problem.This is an excellent product. Hope this helps.

Awesome Stand

I have tried many stands; some were disappointing and others adequate but this one, at this early stage, is excellent. It's sturdy and weighted enough to hold my iPad Pro 10.5" iPad, and, of course, anything smaller. I also have an iPad Pro 12.9 but opted for a larger stand which I thought was sturdier but far more bulky and awkward to carry. Since the larger iPad is always home easy of carry isn't an issue. I do believe it would hold and larger iPad securely enough but there is some doubt in my mind that if my cat raced by he might be able to dislodge it. And since I never know when he will decide to race around like a lunatic... Anyway, it's a terrific stand, attractive and well-designed. If an unpredictable cat (or unruly children) aren't a concern, you'll love this stand!

Wonderful Tablet/Phone Stand

This stand is exactly what I have been looking for. It is heavy making it sturdy and it doesn't tip or move when you use your tablet/phone. It looks gorgeous, elegant on my desk and bedside table. The ease of putting the tablet in and out is great, not hard at all yet the tablet is in there securely. I simply love this. I love colors, please keep making this stand but in colors and maybe a larger stand for the ipad pro line....I cannot say anything bad about this stand! Love, love it!!

Very useful, solid quality and looks great!

I bought one (black color) for myself. My iPad, an iPad Air 2, fitted easily and feels very securely held. The stand has enough weight and it grips the iPad tightly enough for typing and swiping with confidence that it won’t fall over, a massive improvement over my old soft case. I use the stand in the kitchen while cooking where it helps keep the counter clear and the iPad away from potential messes. I also use the stand on a table or floor while I’m following the online videos for workouts. It’s really convenient and gives me any angles I want. I was so happy with it that I bought another one (white color, also looks great) for my mom as a gift for her iPad (2nd gen). She also used to use a soft iPad case while watching shows or video chatting with family and had lots of problem with the old soft case falling over. Sometimes the apps she's using doesn’t support rotation and you have to rotate the iPad to see the video straight, not easy with her old soft case. This new iPad stand has completely solved both of these problems for her and she fell in love with it immediately.

I goofed up but they still made it right

This is well made and sturdy. Unfortunately I misread the specs when comparing stands and purchased this one thinking it was sized to work with the iPad Pro 12.9 inch. When I posted about this device not working with the large iPad pro a representative contacted me immediately to resolve the issue, even though it was MY ERROR. He refunded my money and provided me with other options in their product line that would serve my purpose. I am very impressed with their quick, courteous customer service. And the device, while it wasn't suitable for my iPad Pro is very well made and sturdy. It would be very useful for people looking for a solid stand for their phones and smaller tablets. I would purchase again from this company.

Great quality, looks great & extremely useful!

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tablet stand. It's sturdy and a good weight - heavier than I expected which is great because it gives it just the right amount of weight needed to support a tablet without falling over! I might have to get myself a second one because I initially purchased this for my home office desk but it also looks great on my media console next to my TV to use to stream music/videos from my iPad to the TV/audio system. I think it would look great anywhere in the home. It allows you to tilt the tablet in any direction and be adjusted to the perfect angle. Extremely happy with this tablet stand! It's really great quality for what you're paying.

A really LOVELY and SOLID multi-function tablet stand + smartphone stand + e-reader stand, or if you use it in a car dashboard it can be a GPS stand too. Up receiving this tablet holder comes with very professional package and is very heavy ( > 3lb ). The carton color box is pretty strong, holding the box in your hand you can feel the product is pretty solid. the tablet+cell phone stand is folded inside the box to save space. I ordered the black color model. When take the stand out of the box, immediately you can feel it is so heavy - the weight comes from the metal base which is very important for a desktop stand to have steady holding for large 9.7 inch ipad or 10 inch samsung galaxy tab. Besides the aluminum stand, there is a small box containing a camera adapter for the most popular 1/4 inch tripod interface. Also there is a quick guide and a L shape hex wrench, there are two screws you can use this hex wrench to adjust the damping for arm left/right turning and for arm up/down turning. Best parts of this ipad+iphone stand so far: 1/ heavy duty made, very solid heavy base, so any tablet computer or smartphone you put onto it is extremely steady, no shaking; 2/ The widely expanded clamp holder can cover every tablet pc and mobile phone I ever have: from my oldest 2nd gen 3G iPad to my still working iphone 4, from my latest iphone 7+ to ipad pro 9.7 inch and Amazon Fire HD 8, and some other devices like Amazon Kindle White ( 6 inch ), DELL Venue 8 Pro, iPad Mini 2nd Gen, Google Nexus 5 android phone, Samsung Galaxy 5, Xiaomi 5.5 inch note 4. In simple word if your smart device is not larger than 11 inch, it works; 3/ the holder is heavy but still so easy to move around indoors from dinner table to sofa table, from office desk to kitchen countertop, from bathroom (yes I used it to watch videos when brushing teeth... ) to bedside table. The arm is very handy to grip; 4/ The mount arm and the clamp holder can do very flexible adjustment/rotation for the position you want. It's always well balanced there for any position you want ( thanks for the heavy base ), change from vertical to horizontal is done instantly; Backside of the clamp holder there is turning knob to adjust the damping for clamp holder 360 degree rotation too. I even brought once the aluminum tablet/smartphone holder to office. After folded, it can put into any small bag easily. Of course because of the weight it isn't good to carry it on the road everyday. The most common scenarios I used this stand is for my dinner time I can watch netflix movies, then during the cooking moments do iphone 7 facetime videos with friends; When I am working on my desk I used it to hold my iphone to check imessage/facebook message from time to time; Weekend afternoon I use it with my kindle e-book reader too. Such a versatile catch all stand product! Oh yes almost forgot to mention, I tried to put my Sony A6000 camera onto it too with the included 1/4" tripod adapter ( you need remove the clam holder first. Be carefully: don't touch the knob, only loose the wheel behind the clamp holder, then screw the camera adapter in ). It's so convenient to take videos from desktop with this adapter. Small part but bring huge benefits. I will try to upload some product photos I took from my phone later on. This is a no-brainer purchase, highly recommended. Sturdy Stand But Lacking Important Parts!

Update: I have been contacted by the seller, AboveTek, and they have gone over and above what I expected. They replaced the original product with a completely new package at no charge to me. They also apologized for sending an incomplete package. I was also give a refund of my purchase which was very unexpected. Their immediate attention to my review as very impressive. I believe this is a sincere and honest company. I will do business with them in the future if the situation arises. It's kind of rare to find a third party company on Amazon that will make things right as quick as AboveTek. Highly recommend. As I mentioned, the stand is very solid. I doubt I could tip it over if I tried. While it doesn't stretch extremely wide, most tablets and any phone should fit very nicely horizontally. ___________________________________________________________ Just received this stand and it seems pretty substantial. The base is heavy and shouldn't tip over during normal use. It's easy to rotate from horizontal to vertical. It is kind of difficult to spread the grips when holding on to something. It definitely will not allow for an iPad Pro 10.5" to be held horizontally. And if you have any kind of case with an Apple Pencil holder, it won't work in the vertical plane either. I also DID NOT get the separate camera mount with my product. I don't know it was an oversight or what, but it's definitely not in the box. That's very disappointing. We'll see if the supplier reaches out to me to correct this error.
