After reading the reviews we let it air out for a few days still all bundled up and when we brought it in it was fine! No smell! It was perfect!

Pros and Cons list, with a note on the smell

Update: I ordered another 2 packets and they came in a more 'natural' color than the vibrant green I talked about under the 'Cons' below. I prefer this more natural color, but ended up blending both shades. And this batch was way less smelly. Pros: 1. Inexpensive (probably the cheapest for 24 strands with this length on amazon); 2. looks as real as those I see at crafts stores like Joann's for a fraction of the cost, and 3. like everyone says, looks real from afar. Cons: 1. Since this is a review, I would have taken a half star off if I were REALLY fussy and say that the plants looked a little too 'green' especially next to my real plants (see photos. which show my pathos), but that would just be nitpicking on a poor artificial plant that has plenty of other advantages over real plants. I guess if I wanted something less like spring, I could have mixed it with more autumn color choices. Also most people might like the vibrant green rather than the muted ivy green. (But if anyone knows of ways to make them look more seasoned or 'real' please share the tips!). 2. I also want to address the smell- mine went off completely once I hung them up after a half a day, but I did have to open the window to air them. .

Good buy for birthday party backdrop!

I used the garland for my twins first birthday as a backdrop. The theme was wild ones/woodland. It went perfectly with the theme and I received many compliments on it!

Quantity over quality, but still worth it.

Package comes with 2 packs. I used one pack to put around my bedroom, it has so many pieces that I didn't even open up the second pack and my room is filled with vines! They look pretty realistic if you put them up higher up and make sure to arrange them well. The only downsides are that the pattern of leaves on the vines are repetitive which makes it look slightly more fake, but you can easily layer them and twist them together to fix that and make it hang more naturally. Also, there are a LOT of little green plastic bits that need to be snipped off with scissors. I spent a long time with every single vine cutting those things off and it was a real pain, but it's necessary to make them look more real. That being said, the sheer quantity makes up for all of the downsides, in my opinion.

Great for crafts once aired out!

I used these for a work event and they were fantastic! They are a pain to work with in the sense that they get tangled easily but that is nothing to do with the product quality. I will admit that they smelled really bad when they came out of the bag. So I laid them out and sprayed heavy amounts of odor eliminator on them which seemed to do the trick. The only area that was still a little stinky was the entrance (seen in the photo) but you pass by it so quickly you barely noticed. I would highly recommend these for event planning or crafts!

Good quality vines

These vines can seriously light up a room, wedding, party or outdoor space. I used these to make my wedding backdrop and it didn’t disappoint! Great quality and durable. Until this day I am using the backdrop with these vines for parties and events.

Great product. Buy at least two for full look.

Love these vines and received so many compliments. This pictures shows two orders worth. Each order comes with two thick bundles which has single strand vines in each. They do have a smell so make sure to air them out the day before. To speed up the process I also sprayed them with 90% rubbing alcohol and let it air out. Vines are very long and gave the feel I needed for the baby shower. Great price. Suggest buying at least two packs for a full look.

Great quality vines!

So left me start by saying the order comes with 2 packs of 12 vines each. I had bought 2 orders and one order is more than enough for my photo backdrop project (5 ft wide pole)! For my project, since I had extra I added more, so in the picture I have about 1 order and a half worth of vines on my photo backdrop. The vines look great and almost real! I didn’t have a huge problem with the smell (and I’m 8 months pregnant) but I did air them out for a couple of days before my party, just in case someone else had a problem with it.

Overall great for the price!

I'm actually really happy with this! The smell was not nearly as awful as I expected from reading the other reviews. There was about 7-8 leaves that did fall out in total while I was hanging them. I provided a photo of what they look like front/back in daylight & how long both sets are (laid on a full size bed) :) Yeah, I liked em and I'm glad they look good for the project I'm utilizing them for! May update this with the finished product!
