Good Value Qiyi Warrior W 3x3 Speed Cube from Puzgic
Item arrived on time, and the seller, Puzgic, was excellent with personal follow-through to make sure I am happy with my order. This cube is a Qiyi Warrior W, an excellent first speed cube for beginners, and well-regarded in the cubing community for its value. The plastic, billed as “anti-scratch”, has a slightly textured surface that feels pleasant to touch. The colors are cheery and nice, although more muted than they look in the photo. The cube turns fast and smooth, with good cornering, right out of the box. Personally, I would have preferred the original box from Qiyi, a well-known manufacturer, rather than have a generic looking re-branded box. Clearly the item is a Qiyi Warrior W, as I have another one from a different seller, in its original box, and that cube is identical to this “Amazing Smart Cube” I just received from Puzgic. This cube performs better right out of the box, without lubing or tensioning, than the YJ Yulong, another nonmagnetic budget speed cube 3x3 in a similar price point. The YJ Yulong feels like it needs lube and loosening the tension to make it faster, but the Qiyi Warrior W is perfect right out of the box.

I have only the best things to say about this Cube
I have only the best things to say about this Cube. It is NOTHING like the old one I had as a child. No stickers or gummy mechanism that fought every twist and turn. The rounded edges and the well-designed turning mechanism makes the movement of this Cube is so smooth and satisfying. I read some reviews that said they were worried that the Cube's parts may pop apart when moving quickly. I can assure you they won't...I tried. I think what gave people that sensation was that you could rotate the parts so quickly on account of the smooth action of the mechanism. I successfully "solved" the Cube for the first time last night with the help of a guide. I can't recommend this Cube enough. It is cheaper than the Rubik's speed cube kit and I can't imagine how you could improve off of this one.

Absolutely Fantastic!
The Cube arrive promptly in a nice snug box. I absolutely love this cube. When I set out in search of a new cube, I was mostly just looking for something comfortable. I got that and so much more! Highlights: - It is effectively silent (relative to other cubes). So many cubes out there make tons of noises. This one is so quiet!!! - Not having stickers means you don't catch the edges as they start to peel. I hate that feeling. - The plastic texture feels great to the touch - It turns like Magic, so super smooth! No need to lubricate it. - When turning, the cubes don't catch on each other, very smooth and well tensioned. - Colors are vibrant and perfect! It is super easy to differentiate the colors and it looks great. Is it weird if it makes me want to eat it? - Cutting corners works like a dream and makes it so you don't have to line up the rows perfectly - It is light weight, but feels like a solid construction I haven't used those high cost cubes that run over $20 so I can't compare to those, but I am really not sure what those could offer me. There is no functionality or convenience known to me that is lacking in this cube. I should say that I am not all about speed cubing. I enjoy solving the puzzle and just playing around twisting the cube in my hands while doing other things. That being said, I am a fast solver and I can solve this cube much much faster than my previous (regular brand) cube.

Very Smooth One Handed Operation and Handy "Lifesaving" Picture Guide Manual
I ordered this due to it being a lightening deal and than missed the window to check out and ended paying full price. Although I fully intended to return this, I may now have been converted into keeping this little sucker. I have 4 boys and these little rubik cubes have earned a rise of popularity recently in the 5th-7th grade crowd and I have bought my fair share of Walmart/Target Hasbro Rubik Cubes and as we all know how the quality is of those. Upon receiving this cube, the packaging was not upto Hasbro standards, packed in a lightweight cardboard box, but upon unpacking it and turning it a few times, I was blown away by the quality. The colors are not stuck on stickers but actual color of the plastic, to promote less cheating, in my household! The operation is not shotty at all and is super smooth and easy. The smooth operation is kind of addicting and I find myself oftentimes picking this up not to solve but just to spin it in one hand, lots like fidget spinner, great for fidgeting types. As we know with the hasbro kinds, they sometimes are hard to turn and when you are really on a roll in solving cube and you cant get it to turn fast enough. No problems at all with this smooth gliding cube, feels magnetic somehow in its operation, very quick turning! NOW if that was not enough to purchase this, I turn box over and see this amazing little manual in bright color pictures on step by step how to solve guides! Granted it does contain alot of japanese which can be distracting, but the color pictures are bright and simple enough to figure out. I can't tell you how many times my kids have brought this to me so I can 'help' them solve it and (so many hours of solving!) and now I can just tell them to look in the handy guide and figure it out themselves until they become pro's. I'm sure a simple google search will find same solutions online, but to have a small color picture step by step guide already available, making solving and figuring out the rubik cube even simpler! Added benefit of them using an actual manual to solve something rather than turning to the easily accessible inter web for yet another thing, I like that they can avoid the computer whenever possible. Love this cube, buy it, buy a few, great gifts, for stockings, teacher student acheivement prizes(great educational substitute to pencils and plastic yoyos), Easter baskets, party game prizes, coworker gift, goodie bags, fidget/stress relievers or just to have on your desk during those long afternoon hours and great convo starters!

Kids love this cube and brings back memories for me.. :)
I had a Rubik's cube while growing up and wanted my kids to have the same challenge and fun. This cube fits the bill and more. The construction is good material. The movements are smooth and the rounded edges help make the moves so much easier. The colors are bright but my kids love it. Although, I do want to point out that movement is so smooth and soft, that it feels you will pop off the pieces if you move too fast. Time will tell of how it holds up. Overall my kids are really happy and satisfied right now! Would definitely recommend this cube.

best cube I have ever used
Been doing Rubics Cubes since they came out (80s?). Learned how to finish them when I was in my teens and went on to a few speed contests (never won :) ). Wish I would have had one sliding as well as this one. The outcome might have been different. Definitely the best I have ever used and now it's my kid's time to have fun with it.

I really like the bright colors and how the corners don't snag ...
This is literally the first Rubik's cube I've ever owned and let me tell you it was well worth it. Haven't had to buy another one ever since. If you're looking for speed and fluid movements this is the cube. I've been using this guy for months and it still feels as smooth and fast as the first day i bought it. I really like the bright colors and how the corners don't snag at all. It's durable too. My friend decided to smack it out of my hand one day and only ended up with a few scratches. I also managed to get my PR of 36 seconds with this guy. If you're still looking for a Rubik's cube stop right now. This is the one for you. I highly recommend it.

Great Design!
Way back in the 1980s, the first thing I would do with a new cube is disassemble it and grease the works with petrolatum jelly. This smoothed the motion and prevented the insides from grinding to dust. The Magic Speed Cube is really built to work fast and smooth right out of the box. The rounded interior face corners prevent the cube from jamming up on itself and the no-sticker faces are an awesome feature. Now if I can just remember how to solve it....

Not the best for folks with dementia
This was a gift for my mom who suffers from Alzheimer's dementia. She told me she wanted something to challenge and sharpen her thinking. However this one was too difficult for her and she became frustrated trying to solve it. This one here is a 3x3 Rubik's cube. After doing more research I found out that 2x2 cubes are more appropriate for folks with dementia ; they're challenging enough. Off to buy a 2x2. I'll keep this one for myself.

Better than the D-FantiX in two ways: speed and appearance
The D-FantiX and this cube are nearly the same, but this cube wins in 2 ways: appearance and speed. APPEARANCE: The D-FantiX has a shiny finish with bright/bold colors that are a little harsh for my taste. This Puzgic cube has softer colors that work really well together. The matte/eggshell finish is easier on the eyes, and the colors all remind me of candy. SPEED: This cube is plenty fast. It seems to be just a tad slower than the D-FantiX, and I prefer it. The D-FantiX is too fast. The faces spin so quickly that it feels slippery, and they hardly slow down enough to realign for the next turn. Just my 2 cents. They're nearly the same thing. This cube seems smaller than my old Rubik's brand cube? Could be wrong though. Wish it were a little bigger.
