Just perfect for big truck
I like that it fit in the space I have available in my 18 wheeler.

Very quite cooler
I stuck a thermometer in it with a 24 hour high/low record keeping on it. It appears to cycle between 34 and 45 degrees during the 24 hour periods when on its lowest setting. This is in a 73 degree +- 2 degree office. It is completely quite when operating, yet cool enough for drinks. It was less deep than expected since it did not have the big compressor tank and such in the back like the one it replaced, yet offered about the same space inside.

Worked great - low power usage
Over the road driver. My first outing with the unit was a run from midwest to west coast and back. Running unit on115v off my inverter. Pulls about 50 watts. The less you open the door, the less it cycles on/off So really cant say how much power it uses on an overnight. To many variables . Did you pre-cool items before placing inside, how cold you set it, how often you open the door etc. Id guess a room temp. can of coke takes about 8-10 hours to come up to temp. I keep mine set to high and it get very cold. I keep some cokes, juice, ketchup, lunch meats, eggs etc. in mine. Very happy with the unit. Prob saved 50-60 bucks on meals the first outing. Middle size did NOT fit in 2020 Cascadia closet. To wide by maybe a 1/4 inch. So strapped in upper bunk area. I did notice the heat coming off the back of the unit was enough to work my APU A/C a little harder on overnights. Not bad but was noticeable the A/C ran longer. Also will NOT hold items cold overnight without power. Had an APU failure on the trip. Repaired the next day. Turned inverter off to save batteries for remainder of overnight. Id guess the power was off about 8 hours. Contents were closer to room temp then cold and I never opened the door during the night. But overall very happy with unit. Low power usage, NO noise, cold enough for my needs, will pay for itself easily within a few weeks.

and this was just perfect! Therefore
I purchased this compact refrigerator to place into an 18-wheeler truck. I was looking for very specific dimensions to fit into a particular narrow space on the truck, and this was just perfect! Therefore, the higher price tag is justified because of its very unique dimensions. It is a COMPACT refrigerator, so do not expect it to be very spacious like the mini fridges that are advertised at Walmart/BestBuy/etc. The shelves, including the side shelves, are adjustable and removable, which really helps if you want to put more items into the compact refrigerator. Before putting it into the truck, I plugged it into the outlet at home and let it cool overnight so that I could see how cold it could get. Initially, it did not get too cold, so I was hesitant to keep it. Though, after keeping it running for a few hours, it dropped down to and maintained a temperature within the 30's (Fahrenheit). Even when I placed more items into the refrigerator, it was still able to maintain a relatively cold temperature. Though, if you put in frozen items into this compact fridge, the frozen items will eventually defrost and melt, causing the pooling of some liquid inside the fridge. It is not a freezer, but it will keep frozen items frozen for a longer period of time. Of course, I learned early on to either place a few sheets of paper towels at the bottom if I really wanted to keep frozen items in it or just avoid frozen items in general. Not only that, SMETA's customer service has been so helpful, friendly, and courteous of my questions regarding this product. I previously purchased a smaller version of this compact refrigerator (1.0 cu ft), but it was just way too small to accommodate my needs. I was able to email them, and they generously helped me through the process of getting a refund without any hassles. Afterwards, they informed me of their larger sized compact fridges, and I decided to purchase their 1.6 cu ft compact refrigerator because it fit the dimensions I needed. 5 Stars for their customer service alone! Overall, I would highly recommend this product. It is everything that it advertises to be, and I have had no problems with it so far.

Perfect size.
Took 24 to 26 hours to cool down. Runs like a champ. Fits perfectly in my conversion van.

Works well in our conversion van
When space is at a premium, one must be resourceful and evaluate every square inch. Those who own tiny houses and small campers understand this concept well. Bought this particular model because of its size and the fact it was 120V/12V capable meaning we could run it off the house batteries in the van while driving down the road. Plus, it has a door lock to keep the door from flying open during hard turns. Used it on our trip from Tampa to Nashville and it worked flawlessly. Small 2" slot above the unit allows it to ventilate properly and the drain on the house batteries is easily recovered by the van's alternator while driving down the road. Holds three quart-sized containers in the door and interior shelves must be packed to allow the door shelving to close and not bind up. Seal is excellent - never used the door lock during the entire trip even with three quarts of milk in the door [plus other weight like jellies, etc.]. Since this vents into the van, it also silently heats us at night. Not really much of a heater but in the summer it will make it a little warmer inside. We can easily run it off-grid overnight but it will drain down the house batteries [ours total 184Ah] in about 20 hours of continuous non-recharged operation.

Great for semi truck drivers
Fits in my 2018 freightliner semi. I let it sit upright for awhile per recommended instructions so the ammonia can settle from the movement of transit. Just now attached the 12v cord to the back of frig ( I needed a flathead screwdriver to loosen the bolt for the wire then tighten back up). The temp adjustment knob is on the inside roof of frig (weird place). Set mine to coldest so will check it in few hrs to see.

Fits good in 2014 Cascadia
The middle sized one fits good in the cabinet the door opens and closes without scraping.
