Great little battery charger.

This trickle charger/maintainer has worked great on my BMW X5 3.0i. I was worried about getting a mid range powered device but decided to try this one on my 6 cylinder engine. This model of BMW stores the battery in the cargo compartment under the spare tire. Pain in the rear to get to. I connected the charger to the terminals with the bolt on connections and not the alligator clips. Then I fed the cord under everything when I put all the cargo area back in place. Now I can plug in the module at night without a fuss. The weather in Utah gets below freezing regularly in the winter and this has been a great way to keep the battery fresh as well as getting a discharged battery back into shape. Great buy, great performance so far.

Bought two of them. One for use on the lawn tractor and one for use on the Harley. I really like the quick connect that comes with it, including the weather cover on the battery side. It sure does make things particularly convenient for me. It charged up the mower battery quite well. The battery can only maintain a useful charge for a day or two, it was definitely at the end of its useful life. This maintainer/float charger should allow me to continue using this battery for the rest of the season. It is a simple install and easy to use charger/maintainer. I hope to prolong the life of my batteries for some time, using these. I may purchase another one for use with my other motorcycle, as I do prefer it over the cheaper HF one I already have. For the price, I don't know that it can be beat. I definitely recommend this product. Now, if they made it a dual bank charger/maintainer, I'd be ecstatic. ;-)

Motopower - very easy to use and see it charging

There are a lot of good trickle chargers. With 20+ cars, trucks, tractors, and an ATV, I keep them all on maintenance chargers. I purchased these two Motopower chargers because of price and to try them out. Very happy thus far. With some of my batteries costing over $250, I hope these chargers last a few years. Thank you

Good charger for smaller batteries

I bought this to charge my generator starter sealed maintenance free battery. It charged reasonably fast and I could use it to float charge it long term. I would say if you are trying to charge car batteries, I would get the higher amperage chargers they sell. This is good for small batteries, or larger ones but they will take more time to charge. If you need to just float charge a car that is stored for a while, this should do the job as well. It's smaller than I expected, but well made.

Love this charger.

Love this charger. Keeps the boat battery charged up so it's ready to go when I am. Before the charger the battery was 12.8 volts. Now the charger keeps it 13.2 volts. It charges then maintains the charge without overcharging and harming your battery. Will leave this on over the winter so it will keep the battery fresh and ready in the spring. This will also bring longer life to your battery. Would buy again.

I like this little charger; I use it to keep charged the battery on my inverter generator. Not doing so, has resulted in having to replace the battery. I hardly use the generator, sometimes I turn it on, but it is far and between, that's the reason I decided to get the continuous charger. I was a bit concern about some reviewers saying that their batteries were overcharged. That had happened to me before with rechargeable batteries for my tools. The only thing that I can recommend is to use a timer together with a power strip outlet and connect everything that needs to be a charged. For example, I have the timer for my tools set up for 4 hours a day; It doesn’t make sense to have the chargers running 24/7 if the batteries are not being discharged. Based on that experience, I also connected this battery charger to the timer. The unit is varied basic and hopefully works similarly to the brand Battery Tender, which has become excessively expensive. I just installed a new battery in the generator, the battery charger was charging (red Light) for the first 30 minutes, and then the light turned to green (battery maintenance). Time will only tell, if something goes wrong, I will update my review Attached please find the pictures of the box and the instruction manual. For those that read the review, please when you do a review attach pictures of the manuals and the boxes when information is printed in it. It will help us all if we can have more information on the goods.

Plug it in and it just works

Hooked the lead to the battery on my motorcycle. Then I just plug it in and forget it. It charges when needed, maintains when needed. You don't have to do anything. I would have prefered a shorter cord and longer leads. Then I could screw it to the wall by the outlet and still plug it into the bike. But it does the job I need. With this product I never have to worry that the bike sat too long without starting and is dead. I know when I'm ready to ride, so is my bike.

Works just as i expected, very good price and it comes with a quick connect end and quick connect adapter to make it easy to connect up something ( in my case a portable generator battery ) One thing to be aware of, this is rated for less than an amp output truly a trickle charger for any large batteries and if anything is connected that draws power it might negate the charging power this can provide.

This thing is nice......

Love it, I purchased this to charge a small 35ah trolling motor battery. Works great and has a few different plugs to fit your needs. My truck battery died and would not turn over. I could not find my jumper cables and was in a bind. I did not think this had anywhere near enough power to crank my V8 crew cab Tundra but I had no other options so I plugged it up. Let it sit for 20 min and it fired right up... Would defiantly buy again.
