Does what it says

Simple product, does what it says it does. Before purchasing, I read the other posts and so bought my own 2 1/2” scews (#8). These brackets come with 1 1/2” screws, but you want the extra length to hold up if someone does try to break down the door (the bracket itself is strong). Picked up a box of 50. While you’re at it, replace the screws for your locks with the longer screws, again, for extra strength. My locks had short screws.

I built a removable wall with storage to hide my water heater in my log cabin bathroom, painted them with matte black spray paint and used with a 2x4 to hold the removable wall in, love the rustic look! Supplied screws worked just fine for my application, very sturdy

Great product. Quick shipping! Very secure. Have these on a wooden gate to prevent intruders from intruding. Am thinking of putting on the interior of my home at the front door.

Excellent Brackets

Excellent brackets, well engineered. Simple to install. Screws provided were satisfactory; however, I found that the Simpson #8 x 1 1/4" strong drive screws were easier to use and were more effective for installation. No problem in recommending these brackets.

I am using these for my detached garage side door. The metal is thick and sturdy and once attached supports a 2 x 4.
