These needles are the BEST! Very smooth to knit with and the perfect size for socks and sleeves. No more messing with DPNs. These are so much faster to work with. ChiaoGoo needles are my favorite!

I remember telling my friend some time ago that one thing I knew I could NEVER do was to make socks. FORGET THAT. I hated knitting, honestly. But things changed, and I began to explore knitting for a variety of funny reasons. The one blockade I had, however, was knitting socks. I found some amazing sock yarn at Knitpicks and wanted to learn to knit socks. I was a dismal failure at using double pointed needles, so I thought my sock making was doomed. Then someone told me to try circular needles that were made for socks. I found a set of bamboo sock needles from Clover at the fabric store, so I decided to try those. Progress was slow and the tips were a bit blunt, but I managed to get through my first pair of socks. They were size 2 and seemed a bit sloppy, so I wanted to get another size of needles to try. Someone suggested other steel needles from Addi as they said they were the best needles EVER, and I bought a pair at a festival. They were awful. I could not knit a thing with them. I gave them to my daughter who also could not knit with them, and she can knit with just about anything. I wanted to try another pair of socks, and was really afraid that I might never be able to make them after all. When I found these (my first pair was a size 1.5), however, everything changed. I am working on my fifth pair of socks and I LOVE it. I will never go back to store purchased socks as long as I can make them on these needles! WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THESE NEEDLES -knit much faster than any other needle I have used -does not split yarn like some needles do -works on difficult sock yarns -circumference is small so cast on is easy and not difficult to stretch -stitches are beautiful- much better than any other sock needle I tried -price is affordable -joints are solid and no problems sliding stitches over -easy to work way down toward toe to avoid long time of working with double pointed needles at end of sock -increased knitting time by 2 -size clearly marked on needle WHAT I DON'T LIKE -these can be a bit slippery if I am not watching what I am doing, so stitches can slide off more easily than bamboo -needle size is a bit small, might need magnifying glass to see it for some people THE BOTTOM LINE For sock knitting, I thought I could never do it. These needles took me to a level that I did not think was possible. I am a sock making maniac now. I bought two sets and I work each sock at the same time. I do about 10 rows on the one sock and go over to the other one and work there too. My socks are all being finished at the same time, and they look better than any other needles I have tried from double pointed to circular. People are shocked at how fast I can make a pair of socks now, especially since I could not knit them at all about a year ago or so! I can not rave about these needles enough. They are fantastic! I have used a wide variety of sock yarn too, including hand spun, and they really are fantastic. FIVE STARS for helping my dreams to come true!!!

Love the tiny chiaogoo circulars. My favorite are the shorties set, as they have the mini cables which aren’t as stiff as the ones of the fixed. But for a fixed, chiaogoo cables are the only ones with twisted steel cable cores.

Love these needles. Sturdy, smooth stainless steel tips make knitting fast and easy. Very light weight and yet durable. I've purchased these in other sizes and been very happy with them. I'm tough on my needles but so far this brand has not shown any signs of wear. The cables are a coated metal. They never twist like the nylon/plastic. The joins fit very well and haven't snagged my knitting yet. When I saw the 9" size I had to try them. I knit socks and small items and using a tiny circular needle rather than the double points makes my knitting both faster and better looking, especially when cables or lacework is involved. These do have straight tips making them a little awkward at first because of the tiny size - some other brands are made with a bend - but not a big problem. Would definitely recommend these.

I like knitting with these needles although it takes a few inches to get used to them. I think my gauge is slightly tighter using these, which is fine since my tension is on the loose side. I found that holding the needles pointed away from me with sock turned inside out seemed more comfortable. Even though it felt slow in the beginning, my speed picked up. It helps to keep your hands relaxed and hold the fabric as much as the needles.

Great needle for doing socks, mitts...Especially nice when doing colorwork, or cables; less needles to fiddle with vs DPN's. I'm a boomer with an arthritic hand, so I worried about hand cramping, but have had none. They take getting used to, but I really like them.

I love these so much. I purchased 4 different sizes. Way before this I used to make my own small circular needles to knit socks and gloves. But they were constantly falling apart because I used bamboo skewers. Cut them down. Tapered both ends and using medical tape I taped weed eater cord to them.I love love love these. Steel needles are far better than wooden needleS.

I absolutely LOVE these needles. Never again will I try to knit a sock or glove on 4 or 5 double pointed needles, or wrestle with a magic loop. I had one glove knitted using my double pointed needles when I received these, and the difference on the second glove time wise and frustration wise is incredible. The knitting looks smoother too. Yep, love them.

These small ChiaoGoo circs are a wonder. Since I already own the Red Lace Twist Interchangeables thought these would be worth a try and have ever they proven themselves ten times over. Because I have hand flexibility issues the small circs work best for me and the tip length and points are just perfect. No join issues. Highly recommended.

These little buddies are a knitters best friend when it comes to socks , leg warmers, gloves , anything with a small circumference. I've been told my fingers are so long I could wrap them around a tree and swing and these work great for me. the distance around is small and they pretty much hold themselves. I've been knitting and crocheting since I was five and I'm 49. They make magic loop and dpns seem like methods of torture. You will be a thrilled knitter if you purchase these!!!
