Small, sturdy, and a good match for color. In fact, it's much smaller and less obtrusive than I imagined. It probably won't work with a hard shell--it grips the MacBook Pro pretty snugly. But for those of you who like your MacBooks naked, this is the perfect accessory. It will also hold an iPad (I have the 12.9" Pro model with Smart Keyboard), if you want to use it as a viewing stand or just a handy place to keep your device where it's not likely to get knocked over or have anything spilled on it.

Got this thing after a lot o research, and was a lil skeptical on how this would hold. Quite Surprised with the small package it came in and it was itself was much smaller than what I was visualizing. Zero wobble and perfect balance, does not move around when you put or remove the mac. Definitely recommended, hands down.

I had a similar popular holder for my previous MacBook Pro but I never really liked it. It was large and the rubber insert sized for my laptop would always get pushed in and twisted if I wasn't real careful when inserting it. When I got a new MacBook Pro, this is the first accessory I purchased. I like its small footprint and the fact that there is no removable pieces. It looks great and feels solid. Very happy with this purchase.

I love this stand. I compared several other stands and love this one for its compact size and space gray color. It fits very well with my 13" MacBook Pro 2016. I was afraid that it would wobble but the MacBook Pro dips inside very nicely so you won't have to worry about it. What I also love about this stand is how you can put anything else on it. I sometimes lay my Magic Trackpad 2 or Magic Keyboard so I can have less clutter on my desk. The iPad also fits comfortably on it in either landscape or horizontal position. The stand might have not been designed to keep an iPad on it but you can comfortably use it to prop it up to watch videos or to show it off on your desk. The price is also what made me love this stand. Overall, I'm very happy with this stand.

This is just straight up solid design, in a market full of big, bulky, hideous stands that (in my opinion) contradict the entire purpose of using a stand when they take of 80% of the desk space your 15" MacBook Pro takes up laying flat. Main thing, it only takes up as much footprint as required to prop your computer vertically, and no more. funny enough, it holds the computer more securely than much larger, more elaborate stands I've tested. Absolutely no slipping or wobble. The space grey aluminum is actual aluminum and it matches the MacBook Pro better than any other 3rd party accessory I've seen. The black grip provides just enough grip to better hold the computer and perfectly matches the black texture of the MacBooks keyboard. The grip isn't too rubbery--it's not so tacky that it attracts dust like cheaper rubber on other accessories. The point where rubber meets aluminum is as flush as possible. There is a thin soft padded loop following the underside to hold the stand in place. Inside of that (out of sight), you find delicate/minimal branding. This is what all products intended for use with Apple products SHOULD be!

Not much to really say other than it's a nice holder for my laptop. I was a little miffed that I couldn't keep my aftermarket plastic case on my laptop, but I knew this before I bought it. It has a metal base to it with plastic casing. Nice and supportive. I'm using this to hold my laptop flush with my MountIt monitor arms. EDIT November 27 2017: I did notice when I'm using the GPU alot (simple games, I'm not a real gamer) the temperature was escalating and not backing down like it does when I have it flat. I felt the back panel blowing hot air out, and I'm seeing that this blocks about 20 or so percent of that outlet. I'm not saying this is bad at all, it rocks unless I'm gaming for long periods of time. I still use it unless it's going to be one of those days and then it's flat on the table. Keep in mind, I don't mean it skyrockets in temp then. I simply mean it creeps up over time and stays up.

Fits my 15" Macbook Pro perfectly. I purchased this to free up desk space while using my Macbook Pro with a thunderbolt dock, display, keyboard, mouse, etc. It does that job well and it looks good. Nothing bad to say about it. 5 stars.

I like this stand so much more than the TwelveSouth I see everyone using. I wanted something minimal and functional, and this is it. Plus, it can also be used as a phone stand and works solid for the Nintendo Switch!

Rarely write reviews, I purchased another aluminum stand and returned it -- glad i did. This stand is much more elegant, simple actually matches my space gray MBP late 2016. Even though it's smaller it secures MBP and its a one hand operation to grab it and go.

This stand is minimal, solid, comes packaged beautifully, and works as it should. This beats every other MacBook stand on the market by a long shot. Fits Perfectly on my 2018 MacBook Pro 15 Inch and probably will fit older Macs too. No confirmation on that.
