Possibly a good way to repel snakes from bird houses

Because the barbed wire is silver in color and the post is light in color it’s hard to see that the wire is wound around and around the post. My husband did the winding for me since he’s good at that kind of job. He had to be clever at arranging the barbs to cover all parts of the post as he moved up and down. Our goal was to make it very, very uncomfortable for our rat snakes or king snakes to get to our baby bluebirds. So far our current nest is a healthy one. (Earlier this Spring we lost the first nest to a snake.)

Solid, and real. Barbs are sharp as hell. However, the malleability of the barb wire is very misleading. It was very difficult to work with, especially when wrapping it around a bat to make a Lucille replica. HOWEVER, this factor makes it feel more like legit, real, and industrial barb wire. Thank you guys for an amazing product.

Perfect little package of Barbed Wire

Great product. Fast shipping, great customer service, and Made in the USA. It came with helpful pool noodle pieces that kept it in place during shipping and made it easy to handle out of box. You're going to need some nice gloves, but I was able to bend it nicely. I think the spacing of the barbs is good once wrapped twice - it was long enough to cover the logs twice so worked out great. It's thin & sturdy. Great product, would recommend. Having handled it, I think it would work really well for a Lucille bat too, if you're into that.

This barb wire is outstanding!

I like this barb wire. It's the REAL thing and the Home Depot type stores crumbles in comparison. The quality is outstanding. I'm a horse owner and my horses are fence destroyers. Initially I was not going to use any barb wire for safety reasons, but quickly found myself with no other choice, then to add a top row of barb wire. This worked for a little while until they figured out that they can stretch right over it with little discomfort. Frustrated with little other options I ran across this 2Pt Real Barbed wire and ordered it. After attaching it I observed my horses backing away from the sharp edges just like they are supposed to. I'm hoping to attach a picture that shows the quality and application. I've placed another order since then as I'm systematically fixing what's destroyed.

So Far It Works Good!

I placed the wire at the top of the deck fence where many of the cacti and succulents are kept inside the deck and so far the wire is keeping night creatures from jumping the fence and making a mess and so I am pleased with this purchase. Hopefully it won't start rusting 'cause here in Florida, it does rain quite a bit.

This was perfect for my needs!

I was having so many problems trying to keep squirrels off of my bird feeder. After trying so many things, I decided to use some barbed wire to keep them from jumping unto the top of the feeder pole from nearby trees. It is so hard to find a small amount of barbed wire for a small job until I found this. It was perfect for the amount I needed and it appears to be doing the job and best of all.....it's NOT FROM CHINA! Support our local businesses!

Just as advertised

Purchased some barbwire to construct "Lucille". Everything was received just as advertised! They even put what likes pool "noodle" material around the coil of wire to give the buyer a safe place to grasp it.

Super product. Use it to wrap my fruit trees to keep squirrels and coons from climbing up and stealing my fruit. Next will be my tomato plants in 5 gallon pails...squirrels steal all of them...not anymore. Barbs are sharp. Wire is pliable enough to shape into needed form. Best of all, Kevin has stayed in touch like a brother. Super customer service and sharing ideas. 10 stars from me!

Great stuff!

Used this on a wooden pole supporting a blue bird nest box. Perfect amount and protected the baby blues from predators. Amazing.
