Awesome stroller! This will be my second time buying this stroller.
Only ONE negative: The only thing I am not liking is the break placement. It’s so ackward to put on the break as it’s very stiff but that may go away once broken in and just as difficult to release it. I can’t use the parent console up as high as I used to on the older version because the break handle gets in the way plus if there was a cup in a console it would definitely be in the way. Placing the parent console lower on the bar is of course an option but the interferes when my daughter is on the riding bench, it would be innher face. Pros: it’s strong, sturdy, seats are beautiful and large and deep, recline and canopy are awesome. My 4.5 and 1.5 yr old love it and fit really good in the seats. Yes it’s a bit long but that doesn’t bother me especially when I get to see my kids napping comfortably and yes it’s heavy but also worth it. p.s. Sold my Bugaboo Donkey to buy this again!

You must have it!
In love with this. OMG. It can be a single or double stroller. We even don’t need to get the umbrella stroller because this is beyond convenient. If you’re a first time mom, get this because you can use this as a single stroller and use it for a long term as you plan to have another child later. I have two kids and I use it as a single stroller most of time like on errands and etc cause my older (2 1/2 years old) can walk but we make it double if we go to sea world or six flags etc etc. it’s so easy to push it around and fold. Only one thing that is a little hard for us to do is to push for brake but we got used to it eventually. Love the brake conception because my shoes are no longer dirty 😍 with the umbrella stroller I use my shoe to brake and it always got dirty.

I love this stroller! The versatility is great for my family.
I got this stroller primarily for the bench seat. My older son loves the bench seat as he sees it as a "big kid" seat and doesn't fight to sit on it like he was starting to for his old stroller. Now with a newborn I need him strapped in when we walk to the park and this is perfect, he can get in and out on his own. The little guy loves wiggling in his pram so this stroller is perfect for our family. With only one seat on it this stroller is surprisingly compact for a stroller that converts to a double. Even with a seat on the back and the pram on the front this stroller is easy to maneuver even through doorways and such. I can easily lift this stroller myself to go up and down our front steps. Overall I love this stroller.

High quality stroller, you definitely get what you pay for with it. :)
So far, after about a month and a half with this stroller, we still love it. It collapses very neatly, is very sturdy, and very high quality. The storage holds A TON of stuff. Myself and baby flew without my partner across the US with this stroller. It was able to hold baby (of course), my carryon suitcase, an overstuffed backpack, and my cooler for pumping. Incredible! It made flying SUPER easy. To get it through security, we did have to take off the wheels to get it to fit in the XRay machine, though, they wheels just come off with the click of a button and snap right back in. The fabric on this stroller is also very nice and quality, as well. We take this stroller everywhere! We did get an organizer for the handlebar to hold phones/wallet/drinks. When finding one, make sure you look for one that attaches to either side, and not the top of the handle, since it does have a handbrake and a button to extend the height of the handlebar.

Great stroller-folds up really small.
We bought this stroller for a very specific purpose, it fit in the back of our Jeep Commander. We tried many different strollers and this is the only one we found that would fold up tight enough to fit. We felt like we got a good price through amazon but this was still a really expensive stroller in our opinion. So, given the price, it is a very nice stroller. It is much nicer than the graco we used for our first 4 kids. It would be hard to say it is better, or the term better is subjective. We had zero issues with our graco for 10 years and 4 kids but with kid number 5 coming the graco would not fit in the jeep with the third row up. It came down to we either find a stroller that will fit, or we buy a new car. An expensive stroller is cheaper than a new car. It really does appear to be a fantastic stroller and I am sure anyone would be extremely happy with a stroller of this caliber. It amazes me how much people are willing to spend on strollers though. Anyway, price aside, I can't see anyone being unhappy with this stroller.

Best invention. We live in a small apt so ...
LOVES this stroller. Such a blessing to be able to own this, and the second seat. Best invention. We live in a small apt so we have to keep the stroller open in our inside doorway. This stroller fits with room to walk around. I was dreading having to get a side by side stroller, so I am sooo happy I found this, for so many reasons. Also, easy to do myself when I am just out with the boys. ...though putting the two seats in does get a little tricky, the angle has to be JUST so. But, after a "AHH", then I get it to work. ha.

Best investment for 2 or more kids, no matter the age gap
This stroller is basically a Cadillac in the stroller world, and be darn if I don't love every minute of it. Originally having kids 5 years apart I assumed I would not need a stroller for both of the kids. Then I began thinking about our much more active lifestyle than when I had my 5 year old, and how much walking we do whether its around town, at the zoo, with family, or even just shopping. At 5 they can walk by themselves, hold your hands, and know to stay close; however their little legs get tired after 10 min and you end up carrying them in some way shape or form. I found the City Select Lux because my sister in law had bought it who is expecting, the boutique they bought it from recommended if they wanted more than one kid rather than upgrade to a double stroller in a few years, simply buy the double stroller now that converts from 1-2. This was GENIUS advice! After looking at strollers here and there for 2 kids it became apparent to me that my 5 year old (who is 49 lbs) would not fit in just any stroller, nor did I really want to 5 point harness her in when my sister in law mentioned the bench seat for the Lux. My eyes rolled at $90 for a price tag and a normal price tag of $629 for a stroller. And then I opened the box and pulled it out. Immediately I was impressed by not only the "lux" of the item but the fact it was beyond sturdy and would be lasting our family for a significant amount of time whether we're done with two kids or we decide to have another. The ease of being able to transition it from one to two and move seats around and adapters is incredible, I can't wait till the day that we're at the zoo walking in single stroller mode when my 5 year old gets tired and wants a ride and all I have to do is move baby to the lower brackets for her to hop on the bench, I'll look at my husband and thank him again for his support in purchasing such a wonderful mode of transportation for our family!! Keep in mind the following: it is as heavy as reviewers say, so if you're looking for something to carry a lot look elsewhere; it is difficult to fold at first as they get stuck but I truly believe these will loosen as I use it more; and the price is hefty but you get what you pay for and this stroller can literally hold 135 lbs of children (two seats up to 45 lbs with the 45 lb glider board) Overall this is a solid investment for a family, and while the price sometimes is a deterrent I fully believe if you started having kids now this would last you the 10 years you may need a stroller if you have 2 or more kids. You'd never need another stroller.

Better than the 2016 model!
I owned the regular Baby Jogger City select double and I loved it, but it didn't fit properly in my trunk and I had to remove the seat every time. When the Lux model came out I bought it purely for the 30% smaller and folding seat features. It is amazing! It fits in my cars trunk no problem, it's even easier to maunever and the advertised bit of suspension (which didn't matter to me initially) is actually quite noticeable and fantastic. All 4 grandparents and my husband also love pushing this stroller.

I absolutely love the city select lux
I bought a cheap stroller prior to this one, because I wanted to do things as inexpensively as possible. Do not make my mistake. Splurge on your stroller. It's the most important item I feel. I absolutely love the city select lux. If you ever plan on possibly having more than one child, get this stroller. Easily converts to a double. I love all of the options for seating, including the bassinet, car seat holder, and different positions for the actual seat to face. So worth the price! Love the stroller.

Awesome stroller for kids with an age gap.
I LOVE THIS STROLLER . I debated on whether I wanted to spend so much on a stroller for MONTHS. At the time I purchased it it was for our newborn and 3.5 year old. I was really on the fence about whether it was worth buying due to the age of my oldest but and it totally was. We’ve had it for a year now and still use it almost daily with either the two seats, or one seat and graco car seat attachment. We take a lot of walks in poorly paved areas and this stroller does really well. With two kids in it (weighing 35 and 20lbs) it’s a little difficult to push in grass or large gravel, but definitely doable. The telescoping handle is a great feature as I am a little taller and otherwise end up kicking the wheels. The variety in seat configurations are also awesome. My now 4 year old is taller than average and can still comfortably sit in the seats and doesn’t want to upgrade to the bench seat yet. The storage basket underneath is pretty sizable too. We will often use this stroller to run into the grocery store when needing just a few items and fill up the bottom. Also a huge plus is that this stroller fits in the back of our Fiat (with the seats removed.) This stroller is heavy (honestly though, any double pretty much is) and it does take a couple of minutes to set up/take it apart which is something that would have bothered me when I had one kid, but with two kids, everything takes us forever anyway. My only real complaint with this stroller would be that you have to buy all the accessories separately (snack trays, cup holders etc) Causing this stroller to get pretty expensive. It’s also important to note that the seats aren’t for children under 6months so for a newborn you’d have to purchase a car seat adaptor or a bassinet. All that said, I would absolutely buy this stroller again.
