Love this fryer

Love this fryer. Some directions and recipes included but I have used it basically for cooking frozen fried items. I hadn't eaten fried food for over a year because I didn't like all the grease. This has taken care of this.

Redesigned convection oven

It’s basically a redesigned convection oven. Air fryer is just a marketing gimmick. That being said, I love this thing! I use it several times a week. I like a nice crispy texture and this will give it to you in the time it normally takes to preheat your oven

In love so far!

I just got this in the mail today and I couldn’t wait to use it. It’s going to take a while to get used to everything. I first made skewers with chicken and potatoes. The chicken cooked faster than the potatoes so I had to take them apart and cook the potatoes a little longer. They were so good! The chicken was tender and juicy. Next I decided to make fried pickles and they were amazing. I can’t wait to see what other things I can make!

Makes healthy eating a breeze...

I had been debating getting an air fryer for about 2 years now and oh my goodness, I am SO glad that I did!! Eating healthy is not easy when boiling and baking are your two main options. But so far, since deciding to get one of these air fryers, I've been making healthy fried chicken every night hahaha... This fryer not only makes perfectly fried chicken, but it doesn't "over" fry it... The chicken stays juicy and moist!! And to top that all off, after the chicken is done cooking, you can literally see all the fat that was inside the chicken, that has been dripped Off and discarded from the chicken... Okay so rather than ramble on about chicken, let me just say this hahaha.... At a fraction of the price found in a department store... This baby is my new go-to every night. I'm trying to get fit and healthy this year, and this tool has just made my life THAT much easier

Awesome!

I didn't know what an air fryer was until my husband told me about it. We were debating between this and a toaster oven. This is amazing. It's kind of similar to a toaster oven but it'll make everything super crispy. We use this daily to cook our frozen veggies patties and breakfast corn dogs. We also make nachos and hash browns. Haven't tried cooking veggies or meat in here. Probably never will. You can also put in cookie dough in it! We used sugar cookie batter and it came out super well.

Ease of Use

The Secura 1500 Watt Large Capacity 3.2-Liter, 3.4 QT, Electric Hot Air Fryer is a nice air fryer. It is a very good size for my wife and I. We have used it for making some very tasty roasted vegetables, sweet potato and white potato fries (with a minimum of added fat), and some pretty good croutons for our salads. The knobs for temperature and time control and the ease of clean-up on the non-stick surfaces of the pans are major pluses for this fryer. I would highly recommend this air fryer.

Great Air Fryer!!!

I love this air fryer. I purchases it because I wanted to try an air fryer but I didn't want to spend a huge sum of money - afterall, what if I didn't like it - I'd be out a chunk of change. This fryer is amazing!!! Just a quick spray of Pam and a few minutes in the air fryer and food comes out as if it was deep fried. I have over cooked french fries - I didn't realize how much faster it is than an ordinary oven - but I learned to check my food and stop or cook more. I have plans to use this fryer for a while then upgrade to a fancier digital one. My only complaint is that the kabob skewers are really small. you can only make about 4 inch kabobs and they sit so close together in the rack...it just doesn't work for me. This is a great entry level fryer and the price is good for the product. I'm very happy!!!

A great alternative for cooking a variety of foods

We’ve cooked a few things in this air fryer now, and are really liking it. Most recently we made a meatloaf in it, and it turned out great. We’re able to enjoy breaded shrimp more than when we just cookedthem in the oven. The fryer is easy to use, easy to clean and a much healthier alternative to deep frying, which we gave up years ago. With a large variety of recipes available on the internet, we are ble to use this for more than just French fries.

Perfect for the two of us

I LOVE this kitchen appliance. I really wondered if I wanted this new appliance BUT it is the best purchase of this year. My husband and I are empty nesters so it’s perfect for the two of us. I love that it gets to temp quickly, anything I would cook in an oven, I use this. Clean up is a breeze. I’ve talked others into buying it. Now, for family size cooking, I would recommend a toaster oven convection appliance but for two, it’s more than perfect.

Quit heating - awesome Customer Service - they won a customer for life

This was a Christmas gift for a family member. It turns on however quit heating after 9 months of use. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded within 20 minutes. They apologized for the inconvenience and will be shipping a new unit. I would absolutely consider purchasing a Secura brand product again, even if it were a little more expensive, simply because of the level of customer service. I say this not because they are replacing the product but also because their response time was, in my opinion, unbelievably fast.
