Stunning In Every Way!

I had done my research on salt lamps and this brand is listed as one of the Top 5 on the market...They did not disappoint!! I bought 3 (one for LR and each BR) and they are the real deal, Absolutely Gorgeous and well crafted! They come with one bulb already installed and two extras!! When you do need to replace the bulb, you only need to unscrew the two outer screws, NOT the center. I don’t think the diagram/instructions clarify that very well so in the case someone is wondering, there’s the information needed. The touch switch is super easy to operate and big, making it easy to feel for as well. You definitely will NOT be disappointed with your Levoit purchase! Also, if you’re sending as a gift, they are VERY well packaged/cushioned and come in beautiful red boxes...they do have Kana Natural Himalayan Salt Lamp listed on two sides, if that matters to you, but really no wrapping is required. Health Benefits

I bought 2 of these as gifts this year, but it's because my son bought me one last year and I'm convinced this has kept me healthy in many ways. Having COPD for 18 years, I always get bronchitis and/or pneumonia at least once a year. Even though I've had my flu and pneumonia vaccination I always get it. Since having this amazing lamp I have not been sick with anything! Not in a year! Do the research on this, what you find is all true about this lamp! I love it!!

High Quality Useful Product

I love everything about this lamp! First, it was packaged better than almost anything I have ever purchased--it makes for quite an elegant presentation. Second, the lamp itself looks very well-made compared to most that are out there. Third, the dimmer switch works nicely. I did not think I would use this much, but I have, and really am glad it is there. Fourth, I feel like this is a useful product. Overall, this has everything going for it! My only complaint is that I went to buy more, the price has gone up! With only being able to use the discount once, and a price increase, that is really disappointing.

Just received and I can't say enough positive things about this lamp. I've been eyeing one for a while and finally decided to move forward. I was checking out other options on here that came at a bit lower price, but had some safety issues in the past with a dimmer switch issue so I wasn't too keen on those. I came across Levolt and saw they specifically created a certified safe dimmer switch at a solid price, so I was down. One of my top purchases this year. The weight of the lamp was excellent. The packaging was top tnotch and Levolt seems to have taken extra care in ensuring nothing got broken especially the bulbs by providing extra padding. The dimmer switch doesn't have a dial but is touch sensitive which I thought was excellent and also alleviated any concerns around any issues arrising. Overall I think this is a fantastic product! Researched before. Results received: EXCELLENT!

I was really nervous on reading into false "salt" lamps. I read the reviews on this brand. Quantity, high reviews, details of product to changing bulb. I decided to go with the 11lbs+ (medium) size. Received it today, this is QUALITY. Shocked with price. It's definitely salt, not fake. I took pictures in daylight to be able to see the salt of the product. Then I took pictures of it lit, brightest and last pic lowest. Happy to see the bigger one, light illuminates all the way to the top. I was worried it may be to dence and wouldn't. It's more of a salmon pink than what my camera phone pic makes the light appear to be. Great color. It's heavy, beautiful, quality! I was really worried it wouldn't be. So glad it exceeded my expectations. GOOD BUY.

Beautiful and apparently functional as described.

After hearing about all the alleged benefits, I ordered this for my yoga studio where I also do psychic readings and holistic wellness counseling. I honestly cannot say if it does the things that it is purported to do, like generate negative ions and clean the air, but unless it is placebo effect, it sure seems to. Since putting it on my desk my allergy symptoms have improved tremendously and my attitude/ energy is better, too. Besides that, it is just truly gorgeous and the gentle rose-gold light that it produces reflects nicely off my crystal collection. The color is similar to rose quartz, although apparently it varies from one lamp to another as they are cut from natural salt crystal and each is unique. I was worried that it might "sweat" too much because I live in Florida, but so far it hasn't. I have set it in a shallow crystal dish just in case.

Unfortunate irregularity

It's a beautiful lamp seems very well made. Unfortunately the natural irregularities in the salt turned out to be a horizontal line right through the middle of the lamp. ...so although it's not actually a crack it looks like a crack so that's been disappointing. Probably shouldnt not have bought it online. Update....following this review I was contacted by Levoit, they reinforced the fact that irregularities are to be expected in this material but still offered to replace the lamp. This level of customer service is almost unheard of these days....as a result I've ordered 2 extra and bigger lamps because now I have confidence in this companys willingness to stand by its products....thankyou

No more nightmares and ghost!

My daughter used to have nightmares and suffer from sleep paralysis due to the negative energy being emitted around her specially when she was tired or sick. My wife heard about this lamp's positive energy and some stories and bought it from amazon. Of course I was laughing and skeptical.. But my 20+ old daughter says stopped having nightmares and those symptoms. I don't care as long as it works.

Out of 6 Stunning Lamps - No 2 Alike!

I ended up doing a lot of research on the "benefits" of salt lamps before finally settling on this model. I actually purchased 6 of these in one order for holiday gifts - my poor post man... Amazon shipped them all in one box!! It was an EXTREMELY HEAVY package!! Anyway - I will admit that I did what others have done - I licked my finger and taste tested the lamp. Yup it is real salt, and yes I encouraged all the recipients of the lamps to do the same!! Before giving the gifts, and because of some of the reviews about function problems, we unboxed each lamp and plugged them in to ensure that they all worked properly. They did and as promised - each beautiful lamp was stunningly unique. The shapes, the shades of color, and even the lines that ran through the lamps made sure that no two were alike. The switch on the lamp that we decided to keep for ourselves initially did not seem to want to work properly - but after a few moments it worked just fine and haven't given us a single issue since. I chalk that up to user error. Each friend and family member that received one from us has fallen in love with their salt lamp - One even immediately ordered one for someone else! The glowing light that emanates from the salt lamps is soothing, and the dimming aspect makes it even more so. I like being able to have as little or as much as light as I am want. We love this lamp so much that we are planning on buying at least two more of a larger size from Levoit as well. My only concern, and it isn't even really a concern so I didn't knock off a star. Within 2 or 3 days of delivery I received an email from the company asking if I was pleased with my lamps. As I explained in my response that most of them were gifts and that I liked to at least have an opportunity to use a product for at least 14 days before I am asked to submit a review. They seemed to understand my point, sent me an email apologizing and asking me to leave a review after I had had a chance to use the lamps.

So salty, so soothing

Alright, I think we all need to be honest with each other, so I'm going to get the ball rolling with a confession: the very first thing I did after pulling this lamp out of the plastic was lick my palm. DON'T LIE; I KNOW YOU DID IT TOO, JUST TO SEE HOW SALTY IT WOULD BE. (Answer: very...and unsettlingly tasty to a salt-lover like me.)* Taste notwithstanding, this is such a great lamp! I'm not especially concerned about the ions or whatever; I was just looking for some cool-looking task lighting to keep next to my bed - this lamp is perfect for that. The pink salt gives it a nice cozy glow, and the dimmer switch is very responsive and convenient. (In my photo, I have the brightness set to about half-power.) The construction of the lamp itself seems great too. It's certainly heavy-duty, and came well-packaged with clear, professional instructions that made me feel like I'd definitely picked a good product. I was a little worried after hearing about the salt lamp fires and subsequent recalls, so I really appreciated this company distancing its products from those right in the description. I can enjoy the warm orange light without worrying about going up in flames! There are about a bajillion salt lamps for sale on Amazon, and all I can say is I'm happy I picked this one! *For the record, I'm not actively eating my lamp, and don't suggest you do either.
