A life saver

I keep this in my elementary classroom for those projects that require the students to trace or copy a picure but still need to make it hand drawn. This has saved so much time, tears and frustration. I will probably have to by another one because it is so useful that the students have to wait to use it.

LCD Tablet for Home and Office

I am ecstatic over this product. The design and construction are absolutely first class in every respect. The illumination is far brighter than I expected. The metric mm scales on the vertical and horizontal axes are an added bonus. I wonder how I lived all these years without this product! I rank it in utility with my 12x12 paper board cutter, scissors, 3-hole punch, and stapler. Outstanding!

So easy to use

I have enjoyed using this light box. It is about 1/4 " thick and so very light. The size I chose is perfect to sit on my lap and do what project I like. I have another light box but it's cumbersome to use because of the size and weight. This one is great.

Works great! Light is cool, even, and adjustable for brightness.

Better than anticipated. Adjustable brightness allows for originals of different thickness to be traced easily. Original must be translucent, no cardboard. This is a tracing light pad, not a computer scanner. Keep the original box with padded corners, it makes a good transport box to carry the light pad around without dmage.

So glad I did

I asked how long the cord is before I ordered it and didn't receive an answer, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway. So glad I did. The cord is 6 1/2 ft. long which is plenty long enough to reach the outlet nearest to my desk. Hope this will help someone else. I am a calligrapher who makes a lot of greeting cards. This will be a great help when using guidelines both on the cards and envelopes. I can now get rid of the awful little light box I've been using. I really like that the entire surface lights up and that you can adjust the brightness.

I'd recommend a protective sleeve for it, but great product!

Gets the job done! My animation class in college is asking that I buy a $100+ light box, but I couldn't justify spending that money on a light box I'll probably only use for this class as most of our animating will be digital and not pencil/paper in the years to come. My classmate next to me even bought this exact one! We had a good laugh. I did unfortunately already get a crack in the clear top-layer acryilic... either a crack or a deep scratch, but it's so thin I actually worry of it just snapping or something. I have a LOT of stuff in my backpack, including a laptop it shares a spot with, and I'm pretty sure the pressure of all that plus the laptop when I was walking is what slightly damaged it. Day one too. It still functions fine, it's just a slight eye-sore. The way my friend and I see it, we could by THREE-FOUR of these before we're even spending more than we would have spent on the other light box. I'm fine with the cheaper alternative, and it does a better job that the other light boxes our fellow classmates were using as far as I can tell. Even with the crack, totally worth it! Just maybe find a sleeve or something to put it in, and not in a full backpack... I may get a laptop sleeve for it. 5/5 for sure though!

Good quality lightbox at a very affordable price.

Had this lightbox for a few months and use it for several hours a day and it's still going strong. I honestly didn't expect such a quality product for such a low price. These things are notorious for burning out quickly but this is the real deal. When it eventually burns out I'll buy it again without hesitation.

Lightweight, sturdy, and super useful!

I had no idea how much I needed one of these. I draw maps for role playing games and a friend suggested a light box to help make the process easier. And boy does it ever! I'm able to crank out maps at a faster rate since I don't have to redraw them each time. I also love the fact that the adjustable brightness allows me to transfer images on to several different types of paper. If I want to transfer a map onto watercolor paper, it is bright enough so I am able to do it easily. The light box is super thin and light. Even so it appears and feels sturdy that I don't feel it will break easily. If you're an artist who sketches and/or paints, I feel like this is a must have item.

Great!

This is great for artwork. I was surprised by both it's simplicity and durability. It is slightly flexible (it's not glass) so I have little worry of breaking it by applying too much pressure. I also like that the light can be increased or decreased as a smooth action instead of going by predetermined light levels. Being powered by usb makes it great for portability as I can use a simple power bank made for a phone.

Light, bright, and affordable!

This has been amazing for learning calligraphy techniques! I love that it's LED and I don't have to worry about changing bulbs in the future. It turns on with a touch panel and I wish there was slightly more control over dimming/brightening but you have to keep cycling through to find the right luminosity. Very lightweight and easy to store.
