Does tangle some clothes but cleans well. A pain to fill with a bucket. Best if you can use next to a sink. Washes 9 pairs underwear well. 4 polo shirts. 12 pairs socks. 2 pairs pants

I recently downsized apartments and found myself in a shared laundry situation. While that's fine sometimes, I find that it can become an added burden. This little thing has become a savior. The directions are straight forward and it washes more than you'd expect - rather quickly. For those wondering, the spin cycle works by rapidly spinning excess water from the clothes after washing them. This means your cloths will still be wet after the spin - not drenched but still 50% or so wet. Old school Hanging them for a few hours will do the trick. A word of advice: keep it on the ground during spin cycle or you'll get a dancing boom box instead of a portable washing machine.

I have purchased TWO of these; one for me and then one for my brother a little later on. For convenience, affordability, and a good fit in a small apartment, this is a wonderful choice. This machine is lightweight; it can be moved and stored easily, and it cleans clothes better than my standard machine. The drawbacks are, for best results only run small loads, it won't accommodate huge items like king-size comforters or quilts, and it does not have a built-in lint trap collection system. However, there are some very inexpensive lint collectors (a couple of dollars) that you just toss in with each wash load that float around on the surface and collect amazing amounts of lint, so that problem is solved. Now that I have owned this machine, I doubt I will ever go back to a standard size (and weight) machine again; this is just too convenient and massively more affordable. ***111

I recently moved and the nearest laundromat is 20 mins away and it's always crowded with people. I had to resort to hand washing clothes, and hanging them outside to dry. This little machine is exactly what I was looking for! I have a one year old and I can do all his laundry in 2 loads with this machine. I can wash my bathroom rug in one cycle, as well as towels, or heavy items like jeans or sweats. I'm so happy! Ill only have to wash my heavy items at the laundromat now. It is exactly what it describes to be.

I give this five stars based on what it is, not what I dream it could be! I wish everyone reviewed this way. I set this up in my shower stall, which is perfect for it. I put clothes in loosely and fill it up to one of the water level markings on the front. It holds around 1/3 the clothes a typical coin-operated top-load washer can. It takes maybe a tablespoon of soap; Don't overdo it because rinsing can become a chore! No more short-cycle, coin-eating machines barely cleaning your clothes! Make the wash cycle as short or long as you wish. You can add a prewash or a soak! I often soak. It cleans so much better without extra wear on the clothes. The washing part is this machines best feature. It works great, really creates a hurricane action in the water. It might be too much on delicates. After the washing, the process becomes less efficient, BUT you can't blame a small, plastic, inexpensive machine for that! It is what it is, and if you don't like it, spend another $500 to buy the washer of your dreams! The easiest way to rinse (but kinda wasteful of water) is to leave the soapy clothes in the tub and lower the drain hose as flat to the floor as you can. Here's where the shower stall is perfect. Return drain hose to its hook and fill with fresh, cold water. Turn it on for just a couple minutes. Repeat two more times. It would be more efficient to spin or wring out the soapy water, but I usually don't. (Head bowed in shame!) Now comes the spinning, and this is where the machine performs at its lowest. Again, not its fault! You're lucky to have it spin at all. It's not your mom and dad's $750 Samsung front-loader! Get over it. I transfer all the sopping wet clothes to a bucket. Put in the spin basket. THOUGHTFULLY arrange about 1/3-1/2 of the load around the perimeter of the basket, staying below half-way up the sides!! Balance the clothes carefully. Give it the full five minutes to spin, and they come out not dripping, but you can usually still squeeze out a little water, to give you an idea of how well it works. Think of a salad spinner, and you've got the idea. Or, just wring the clothes out. You'll have to do this with jeans and heavy sweatshirts, anyway. Think of this as an excellent way to clean clothes, with a bonus salad spinner to play with, and you won't be disappointed! It's well worth the money.

i love this little machine its saves me a lot of money i would have to spend at the laundromat its fast and washes good and the drier part works great i recommend a lot

This little guy can hold quite a lot and it's much quieter than I expected. Also the little metal pinching ring they include solves the issue of not being able to connect the water input hose to your sink that other models seem to have an issue with. But honestly even if there was that problem you can always just fill it yourself. It also does a great job at agitating my clothes and getting them much cleaner than I thought. This was supposed to just hold me over between laundromat visits but I honestly think it does a good enough job to be the only washer I need.
