This REEL Mower Cuts my Grass like a Champ!!!
I have the Worse grass anyone could EVER have, IT is A Mix of like 4 types of grass, from low to high and uneven soil to dips in the yard and that did not stop this mower !!! If you keep it low you wont have a problem with this one.. Way better cut then my old gas mower and you can mow anytime of the day without waking people up. ( Wet Grass it does Very Good! ) This is not for people that WILL let there grass grow tall. Anything higher then 2 1/2 inches will have problem with it at the first run I say you can do it take will longer. I am Very Happy with this one. And My dog does not Attack the mower,, :)

Great item!
Shipped fast and packaged in water resistant box. Easy assembly, just put handle together and attach to blade reel. Getting the blade to cut a piece of paper is challenging but doable. My small yard gets cut in about 30 mins. It even did the first grass cutting of the year, which for here grass gets very long and thick in spots.

Simple & Efective
Simple to use, adjustable height. I liked it so much I’ve mowed my lawn 3 times in a week and half. I’m in Miami and with this rain the grass grows fast!! This machine is way better than I expected. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Go For It
Works great for the small yard we have, low maintenance, and no gas to buy or mechanical parts to fix. LOVE IT!

1715-16EW 16" 7-blade - superior to my Fiskars 18" reel max at less than half the price
I really wanted to do a review on the Earthwise 1715-16EW 7-blade push reel mower because it works so well. I have been mowing this year with the Fiskars 18 inch stay sharp max reel mower, and I have had some problems with it. The way the front wheels are so far in front of the cutting bed with the rear wheels so far behind it can make it an issue when mowing on even a gentle hill; the bed drags on the ground and the mower scalps. I also had a problem with any little debris in the yard catching in the reel and stopping the mower. When I purchased the sharpening kit, the first time I received a kit without a crank handle. Had to go through the return process and finally received the full kit. But then when I went to remove the small gear on the reel shaft, I torqued my allen wrench 90* trying to break loose the set screw before the bolt hole finally stripped out. Don't know if they loc-tited the screw or if it was installed with an impact wrench at too high a torque setting. I ended up having to drill/tap the opposite end of the shaft for a 10mm bolt so I could attach a nut driver to backlap and resharpen the "non-contact" blades. Overall the Fiskars is not a bad machine, but for the price it has serious drawbacks. This Earthwise 7-blade mower is superior to the Fiskars at less than half the price (I paid $87 for it - was on sale - suh-weet deal). Took me about 10 minutes to attach the handles and set the height for my yard (I mow at 1.5") and I was out and mowing. The reel turns much faster for the same walking pace than the Fiskars reel and that and the fact that it has 7 blades made mowing today a single-pass effort where previously I would have to pass over the same lane 2x with the Fiskars. The rollers on the back also help keep the Earthwise level when mowing uneven areas as well as far superior when overhanging the landscape edging. Because the cutting bed is centered under the wheels, I do not have any problem with the bed contacting the ground at any location in my yard, which was definitely not the case with the Fiskars. Time will tell if this mower is long-term reliable, but the reel and the bed look and feel well-made, the handles are sturdy and the 10" wheels had no problem with slipping (which I was originally a bit worried about). The only minor gripe I would have is that I would prefer the handles be slightly wider and straight vs angled, but I can rig up something for my comfort very easily (perhaps some bicycle bar-ends or some such thing). I have a residential yard and it takes me about 30 minutes to push mow. It is not a high level of exertion, just a little push with a walk. I was worried about this purchase based on other reviews, but I am pleased that I own this mower and also that it works better than the more expensive one I previously purchased. Anyone want to buy my old Fiskars? lol.

Great push mower!
We have been traveling full time in our RV. At one park, a neighbor had a push mower that she kept the grass around her RV maintained with. My husband had been wanting a push mower for quite some time, so we ordered this one. He put it together and took it for a spin today. He loves it. Our yard area is pretty uneven and the grass is very thick with a lot of weeds mixed in. This mower went right over everything and cut it all perfectly. It is extremely easy to push and maneuver. I tried it myself and can say just about anyone could operate it successfully without much effort. Thumbs up!

Best cut EVER!!
Works perfectly, quiter than my gas powered mower, easy to assemble, and the cut was awesome. This is what you need to cut Bermuda grass the way it was designed to be cut! My neighbors are jealous and way too lazy to get one which is why my lawn will aways look the best in my subdivision! Fyi....take the time to pick up any tree branches, sticks, rocks, debris, etc...from your yard before you use the reel mower and you won't impale yourself or damage your reel mower blades.

doesn't give it a chopped look like most power mowers
This mower clips and trims the lawn...doesn't give it a chopped look like most power mowers. The seven blades does the job !!

Eco friendly, good design, easy assembly, great looking lawn
WOW!. I was looking for a eco friendly and economical (goodbye lawn dudes im saving $$) way to mow my lawn, and get some nice exercise without a gym. After much research and you tube vids from folks on various models, I decided on this one. I live in the south and have thick grass so the 7 blade models are always suggested. My order came fast and the assembly was very easy. While you do get a workout pushing, its a smooth push...it only stopped when I ran over a acorn top, and a couple of sticks, both came out easily...then I finished my lawn and felt pretty good that I didnt need no stinky oil and gas, just good ole fashioned elbow grease...and my lawn looks great!

Best choice made!
We got ours just before the mowing season. We absolutely love ours. It's easier to push then out push mower was. Our Bermuda grass is looking the best then it has in the 3 years we've moved into our new house. We also enjoy that we can mow in the early morning or late evening and not disturb neighbors, due to the quiet sound it makes.
