For beginner's.
So I got this right in beginning of cubing. I loved the 4x4 once I tensioned and lubed it. I'm still using it.(all 4x4s sucks) the 2x2 is fine. The 3x3 feels like the warrior w. The 5x5 I can't compare cause it's my only 5x5, but it's fine. The 3x3 then the 4x4, then 2x2,then 5x5. In order from best to worst. Way worth the money. After your times on 3x3 get down to 1or2 min u probably need a better cube. And 4x4i still love. Averaging 2to3 min on this 4x4 cube. 4x4 was difficult at first. But I lubed and tensioned it myself. Now it's great.

Very good cubes but do require retensioning the screws! And wiping of the manufactaring grit and dirt.
[Update after four months of use] : I increased my review from 4 stars to 5 starts. After some use the surfaces get polished by use in your hand, any scuff marks from factor become very difficult to notice, unless inspected up close. So not an issue for me at all after using them. The company logo sticker if it was off placed as one reviewer says, is not an issue either. Because the logo sticker comes off as well from use and doesn't leave a residue. Once each screw in the middle is adjusted for your liking, all of the cubes turn very nicely in the hand. I do like these! I am not a speed cuber, just like to solve them myself, look for new combinations etc. Below is my original review: These are good cubes, but from factory they are not tensioned correctly. In my case 2x2 was way loose, almost corners falling off when I pulled on them. Others were also on the very loose side to the point if pushed hard to turn in a not well aligned way, parts would pop out. Which some of the reviewers reported as to what happened. Some reviewers here report some of the cubes were very hard to turn, same problem. The tensioning is not done right from factory. But these are easy to remedy. The 2x2 and 4x4 have tensioning screws on the center of the cube faces, visible. 3x3 and 5x5 have the tensioning screws under a cap at each center piece of a face. I adjusted each cube with these screws to my liking, and added some silicon grease, result very good moving cubes! Interestingly some cubes screws had some kind of "Loctite" glue added to their threads so that they wouldn't come loose. So manufacturer had been paying attention to this kind of detail, but manufacturing should have used some better tensioning control. Maybe they should have used some torque wrench screw drivers for the screws, that would solve that problem. I had read a lot of reviews saying the cubes were used and sent back. Upon receiving when I also was thinking whether they were used or not. But upon further inspection I concluded the aged look on them are due to: - they have manufacturing grit and dirt on them. Some of it due to use of some silicon grease, which dirt sticks on it. - The plastic faces must have gone through some metal tooling that put some light scratches on them. After some use none of the above becomes visible. Summary, adjust each screw at the centers before use, you will have four very good cubes! Adding some silicon grease makes them even better!

Great deal for the set and the 4x4 and 5x5 are particularly nice cubes.
A great, great deal. I and my daughter recently started using 4x4 and 5x5 cubes, and just for these 2 cubes it would be worth the price. Moves smooth as butter - especially the 5x5 cube is truly a pleasure to handle. An absolutely lovely 5x5 cube. It's kind of a shame Rubik's brand is what's in physical stores as the mechanics are so bad. Many, like me will first buy a Rubil's brand and almost be entirely put off because the jam up. I've bought a few brands, all better than Rubik's brand, and this is the best for 4x4 and 5x5. The 2x2 could be tighter, though it's usable.

Great Product, Great Price
It's unlikely to find each of these four cubes at a price like this. I expected these to be weak and cheap-feeling at this price. However, they are very smooth and have a nice weight and texture to them. The 2x2 and 3x3 are very fast. I was also able to decipher the Chinese instructions on how to solve the 4x4 and 5x5. These cubes came lubed, which makes them really smooth. However, I did have to wipe off the 4x4 and 5x5 after a few spins as I noticed my fingertips were very oily. That problem was an easy fix. I also noticed some people complained about the 2x2 pieces breaking off, and well, as I was messing around, spinning the corners, the piece popped off. Although, it was not broken. I slid the color pieces off of the corner to reveal the inside of the piece. There is a small red piece that connects the corner to the cube. I just had to fit the piece back onto the corner and connect to the core to fix it. It was very difficult but I got it on there and slid the color pieces back on. Works perfectly still. I will be more careful so I don't have to do that again.

Probably factory seconds, but still totally worth the low price if you're going to beat them up a little anyway.
I purchased this set having read the reviews stating these puzzles were scuffed / dirty, so I knew what to expect when I opened the box. That being said, the cubes are absolutely fine unless you are looking for immaculate museum-perfect specimens. These are probably just factory "blemish" sets that didn't get their final fluffing before being packaged. As these cubes are going to get well used by me, this is a non-issue. At this ($17.99) price point, the set is still a great value. If you want a perfect set, go and pay the $25+S&H that other online cube stores will charge you. As for the condition of my set, yes they are mildly scuffed and slightly dusty. One of the cubes does have a small blemish molded into the plastic on one cubie. The logo sticker on the 3x3 is ever-so-slightly off kilter. --I don't consider any of this a deal breaker, taking into account the discount price. As for the cubes as puzzles, Mofang Jiaoshi are very nice, smooth turning cubes with adequate corner cutting. If you're already a sub-20 cuber on your GAN air, these aren't going to help you improve your PB. If you're a beginner or intermediate cuber who would like to try their hand at 2x2 3x3 4x4 and 5x5, these are perfectly fine, serviceable cubes, and will serve you well.

Excellent deal. Cubes are a bit tight and almost chalky at first but after a couple minutes they start to function very well. I would highly recommend especially for the deal.

Exceptional price, good quality
Very good rubiks cubes; exceptional price for good cubes, all have a solid construction, durable for fast, smooth turns without catching or popping. I have not broken one yet in a few weeks of use. (Whereas when I’ve had a rubiks-brand 4x4x4 it broke within a week) Pieces do not pop off, so a small downside if there’s internal damage. Internal and External damage is not likely, they’re pretty hardy. Cubes turn quite fast out of the box, no need for lubrication... cheap-ish plastic but doesnt affect overall quality of the cubes. No stickers so no worrying about sticker adhesive wearing out over time... Overall I would not necessarily recommend for actual speed-cubing (although you can definitely still use these for that intention) but would highly recommend for beginner and medium level cubers to learn/experiment/play with.

I love the cost of this set ($17)
I love the cost of this set ($17). It does come scuffed up but does work. The 5x5 does sometimes get a little notchy but I believe it comes with the territory. The 3x3 and 2x2 work very well. Although the 2x2 seems really smooth but also kinda loose.

Amazing set of budget cubes
Absolutely amazing for the price. The 2x2 and 3x3 are smooth and fast, but reasonably controlable (though the 3x3 is a bit unstable and could benefit from light magnets). The 4x4 and 5x5 out preform any ither budget analog that I have tried out there. Though my tps isn’t very fast, the 4x4 is also smooth and rarely catches and is miles beyond the other two budget 4x4’s I’ve used and the 5x5 is a similar story, though with slightly more catching. All of the layers turn well and the stickerless MF colors are bright and great for recognition. Lastly, I would like to mention that a friend of mine purchased what he was told to be the stickered version of this set and when I tried his, the 3x3 was amazing (the addition of magnets made the turning so much more stable) but the 4x4 and especially the 5x5 were not nearly as smooth as the stickerless ones, and in fact, the 5x5 was so dry and stiff, I almost didn’t want to finish solving after the centers. Almost. So long story short, MF really outdid themselves with this series, and I would highly recommend this set to anyone getting into speed cubing, or even just puzzling in general.

Nicer than expected
Chinese manufacturing knows what they are doing. These spin really nice. The 5x5 is a little tight out of the box but is great after you break it in. The 2x2 is great out of the box and maybe gets too loose after you use it. The 3 and 4 are perfect. Only a few seams are visible where the plastic joins aren't perfectly flush. The plastic smells good. It is a great value over buying them all separately. I did 3x3 and 4x4 many years ago but had forgotten how to do them. Those old cubes were much more difficult to spin than these. I was on the fence about wanting to solve these again. But now that I have them it was a very good move. I am getting older and these help maintain your dexterity, memory, and spacial reasoning. Probably I will buy more and give them as gifts. I also want 6x6 and 7x7 now and of the same brand.
