Works really well. The only thing I could have done differently is maybe order the smaller one so I could use smaller pots.

Versatile size steamer

I like the medium size of this steamer basket. fits various size pots. I stem veggies almost every dinner; more healthy than boiling because nutrients go into water when boiling. Steaming keeps nutrients in veggies.

MUCH nicer than you think.

I took this for a cheap little steamer tray. IT IS NOT. This thing is actually really nice and very sturdy. You can just "feel" it when you expand and contract it. It does NOT have that cheap thin metal feel to it. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got this.

Absolutely the best steamer on the market

The overall design, construction and quality of the stainless steel and the excellent workmanship is top notch. Great instructions for use and assembly. This steamer with the legs collapsed and the handle stem pushed down will fit nicely in a 2 quart sauce pan with a glass cover on the pan. You will be impressed on how beautifully this steamer is put together

Well made

Size is just right to fit in most pots. In mine, using the feet is optional as it sits lower in the pot without the feet. The handle in the middle is easy to grab and pops out extending the handle length if needed. Would buy again.
