These Really Work!

We have three cats (and two giant litter boxes) and as you can imagine, things can get a little smelly! We had heard about the effectiveness of bamboo charcoal as a deodorizer and wow, do these ever work! They come with handy little loops to hang on door knobs and closets - we placed them around the cat litter room (including inside the Litter Genie) as well as one in each room and our master closet. These started working instantly and the whole house has a nice "clean" odor...what a minor miracle!!!! Great product and super value and quality for the dollar!!!!

These are legitimately amazing

These. I am now obsessed with these!! I don’t know what’s happening with the other people who are claiming that they have a strong campfire smell... because these don’t have a scent... but overnight... there is a dramatic difference in the odors of our home. We have a dog that has severe environmental allergies and so he gets very oily and smelly, which clings to our carpet horribly!!! Also, we have a cat that got sick a couple years back and started urinating on our carpet because he was afraid to use his box... he will still occasionally go where he smells his scent... it’s been a battle. But these have already made a dramatic difference! Also, we have one in the bedroom where our sons diaper pail is and now I can’t smell a thing in there! Give it a try!!! I’m getting more lol.

WOW!

All I can say is WOW! Put these to the test as soon as they arrived - one in my vehicle and snuck one into my husband's car (both vehicles smell horribly like smoke :( ) - and literally over night, the nasty smell was gone! The next morning, when my husband got in his car, he asked me what that thing was, and said he had commented to his son that it didn't smell like smoke in there. I told him - well, that little bag is the reason why lol! Absolutely WONDERFUL!!! This will do wonders at keeping kitty detection down to a nuzzling of the shin or periodic wisp of cat hair - not the gift-that-keeps-on-giving called the litter box lol! Happy consumer, here! Can't attest to durability, as we've only had a couple days, but couldn't be easier to use, and the value is definitely there!

Sweaty Car/Man smell approved.

I bought these for my car having a stick of butter melt in the trunk about 7 years ago on really hot summer days that movie theater popcorn butter smell always returns. This eliminated the odor. Fantastic product just for that. The shining moment for this product however was in the Security Vehicle at the place I work. I work at an outdoor location with little shade and the sun beating down on you almost all day in the high 90s recently. Almost all my coworkers are 20 something males. Obviously in the vehicle we drive at all times of day, it starts to smell...really bad. Like just worked out at the gym, and haven't washed my socks in a month bad. I stuck one of these in the vehicle one day, and the oder was almost eliminated! Fantastic product and now almost all the guys at work want one for their cars as well.

Worked better than I had expected!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and now our garbage and recycling bins are located in a slide-out cabinet under the kitchen counter. This was something new for us. We’ve always had a covered garbage can but decided to step up our game when we did the remodel. Maybe I have a pretty acute sense of smell, but I was surprised and distressed by the odor of the garbage bin that I smelled every time the cabinet was opened. Nothing really terrible, just a garbage smell (banana peels, coffee grounds, doggie poop bags). I just didn’t want to smell garbage whenever I opened that cabinet or the drawer above it. I was looking for a way to deodorize that cabinet without just adding another scent to try to cover the garbage odor, so I decided to give these charcoal bags a shot. I put two bags into that cabinet and I was absolutely blown away by how well they worked! I noticed the difference in about two days. Now when I open the cabinet or the drawer above the cabinet I am not offended by the garbage smell. The bags really neutralized the odor and they work much, much better that I had expected or even hoped for.

Great Deodorizer

PROS: A fair value for deodorizers that work! I absolutely love that they come in different shapes because the narrow rectangular ones fit perfectly in my boxing gloves. These things can be used just about anywhere you can think of. Tha material feels insanely durable, and after two days they took the sweat stench out of my gloves. Extremely satisfied. CONS: Not much to complain about! The only thing is that when it takes away the odor, it leaves behind a scent of the charcoal, which for the most part is neutral. So it definitely takes away the odors, but that charcoal after scent does get left behind.

These aren't a miracle cure-all for stinky things, but they do take the edge off. I have them all over the house, including next to my son's diaper pail, in the kitchen, and in the closet with my shoes. They work well enough that my friend requested them for his birthday as he smokes cigars indoors and wants to eliminate the smell as much as he can.

product seems good but read the description closely!

I gave this five stars because everything seems as described. One thing though - make sure you read the entire description. These are only for small spaces. I purchased them quickly based on the product description that goes with the main item, but below it does say gym bags, closets, etc. That was my fault, so i'm not taking any stars off, just wanted to mention it! I do think it's still improved odors in certain parts of my home (cat litter box area, bottom of trash barrel, etc).

Good value.

I've received the product in a timely manner and is more than what I was expecting. These are made very well with a hang hole and larger than i had imagined (I don't think i read the measurements). I used 3M Command Hooks to hang them from and put some strategically around my house just yesterday, but I think it's too early to say if they are working, however, I am optimistic. I placed 2 large ones in the room where my 2 cat litter boxes are, boy that'll be a challenge. I placed one in our small bathroom. Since we live in such a small house, I've yet to decide where to put the others. I'm actually thinking of hanging a small one in my clothes hamper and one in my laundry room for musty smells. There are a few more left to place. I'm giving 5 stars cause they look much nicer than I was expecting, you get several for your money and they were packaged well. Not sure yet how well, if at all, they will work.

This definitely works!

These bags definitely help remove odor and can I say that the air feels cleaner? Hard to prove since I don't have a means of testing the air quality quantitatively, but I think it does help make our apartment air feel clean and fresh. I placed the larger bags around our apartment: in the closet (with our smelly laundry hampers), in the kitchen, bedroom, living room. And the smaller bags went into gym bags and backpacks. The closet smell definitely went away after just a day, and I noticed that the kitchen smells don't seem to linger as long anymore either. The small ones seem to also be helping with the unfortunate and classic gym bag odor as well. Such a simple and easy thing to get these, place them around the apartment, and just forget about them. No hassle or maintenance, and you get nice fresh air. I highly recommend! And they are supposed to last up to two years so it really is not that expensive.
