• MEASURE TEMPERATURE OF 2 KINDS OF FOOD AT THE SAME TIME: Dual probes can work simultaneous testing cooking temperature of FOOD/BBQ with the dual probe design.
  • LONG WIRELESS DISTANCE WITH LARGE LCD DISPLAY OF BLUE BACKLIGHT: The bbq thermometer comes with the wireless transmission function. The signal of transmission range highs up to 70 meters. Much longer than ordinary thermometer's wireless distance. And the large LCD display provides a clear reading and display with the blue backlight, The way of temperature display in ° C and ° F is adjustable. The back light will auto off within 5 seconds without any operation.
  • WATERPROOF DESIGN: The probe and Wire can withstand up to 380° C and IPX 7 waterproof standard. While other's is not waterproof it can dip the probe into hot water or soup to measure the temperature without worrying damaging the thermometer.
  • TIMER AND THERMOMETER FUNCTION: The instant read meat thermometer comes with timer display and temperature gauge alarm function. With the thermometer function, you can measure temperature of 2 of food/BBQ. Set time for testing the food in the Timer mode, the beeps will alarm you the time for avoiding burning the food.
  • WIDE RANGE OF MEASUREMENT & FOOD PROGRAM DONENESS LEVEL: The meat thermometer range of temperature is: -4 ° F to 572 ° F (-20 ° C to 300 ° C), much higher than other ordinary thermometer (250° C). The accuracy is 20° C to 250 ° C≤2° C, 250° C to 300 ° C≤6° C. There are 8 different food programs (BEEF, LAMB, VEAL, HAMBURGER, PORK, TURKEY, CHICKEN, FISH) can be selected. And 5 different doneness levels (Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well and Well) are provided for your preference.

Looks good, measures cold water good. Will be testing in meat soon. I will say that it gets 4 stars because the MEAT selector option is only for one probe. The other one is meant for the oven. If you want to use this budget two probe unit for TWO meats in a cooker or other...you still can it seems. Just don't have the AUTO meat settings. (which I wouldn't use anyway most likely) I will just SET my TWO temps on each probe and have them alarm at those temps. Both probes are identical in build so they both should do fine. Just seems wierd they would have the firmware not allow two probe independent functions for meats. I guess it's in how much they can display etc. I would have just left that MEAT settings features off and had it just for setting TEMPs manually on both probes! Seems pretty straight forward. I'll update if I don't get good readings or other reason. 4 stars so far. Good build clear display, nice probes great price! **UPDATE Works great. Very reasonable price for two probe setup. Don't worry about the auto temps or the fact that it wants you to use one of the probes for the oven/smoker, just set the temp to what you want on each probe and then have it alarm at those temps.

Although the two probes do not match temperature exactly, when placed side by side in my smoker, the customer service and support from the manufacture/distributor was exceptionable with a resolution that satisfied me. Very easy to set up and user friendly.

I bought two of these. Why? Well, I needed one, and I always like to have one sticking around for a friend. When you have friends over and cook their steak perfectly, they always want to know the secret. For under $11, I don't mind sharing ;) The thermometer reads in just a couple seconds - perfect for getting meat the right temperature. I have used it for steaks, chicken, pork belly, pork shoulder and salmon and it did the trick for all.

I'm very happy with this thermometer, it's accurate and easy to use. I made a single rib roast beef. Single rib roast beefs are sold as "cowboy steaks" in supermarkets but that's a misnomer, it's a lousy steak cut but great if you roast it. I set the oven to roast at 375, salted and peppered the meat, placed it on a roasting rack so that it would stand vertically, and inserted the AMIR thermometer and set it for medium rare. When the thermometer beeped it was done. I've attached two photos, one showing the meat with the thermometer still in it and one showing the meat after it was sliced open, as you can see from the photos the roast beef is perfectly done.

The wireless range on this is great! Over 75ft through walls in my house. Both probes read exactly the same temp out of the box. Needs 4 AAA batteries (not supplied). Hopefully, this will last a long time.

I have three of these, this latest one with dual probes reading simultaneously is even better than previous versions. I sear steaks and then heat at 350F until I get a medium rare temperature and people tell me they are the best steaks ever. Also do chicken breasts at low temps but wrapped in foil to keep moist. Forget worrying about under or over done, this lets you focus on the rest of the meal or enjoying your guests.

For being so cheap I was worried but it was my first time using a new smoker, this really made it easy. As far as I could tell it was very accurate and very easy to use. I wish it had a few more prongs but for $22 I really can't complain. it's simple and easy and works, not sure you can ask for more.

The instructions were rather vague.. I logged onto the company site and with the help of the pictures was able to make more sense of the usage. There were several usages of words that needed some translation attention..or: “there are built in 8 different.. etc.. Maybe could read” there are 8 different food programs built in.. ( beef, etc.) Will try this soon as my oven temp is not correct!!!

I now have 3 of them. This thing works out better than i though it would. I'm not sure just how accurate it is but it has to close enough. I use one with my smoker and one with my grill and I keep one in the kitchen. I really like being able to hold the temp. readout when you remove it from what ever your checking. it is easy to keep clean and you can carry it around in your shirt pocket. I do recommend this.

you can't beat this one for the price. I had to look online to understand some of the instructions but it was worth it! I used it for my weber grill turkeys and its so worth it! Its important to know the grill temperature and the meet temperature. Im not taking off any starts for poor instructions because I just don't expect good instructions anymore. Heck, my I-phone doesn't come with any.
