I have to be honest...I didn't look at the product details very carefully when I ordered this. I was pregnant, I saw a picture of it on amazon and thought "cool, a basket to throw small stuff in so they can go in the dishwasher." it wasn't until it arrived that I realized its not JUST a basket to throw things in...it's actually a really well thought out product. There is a loose basket aspect to it, of course, but it actually has a shelf type thing under the lid that lets you line up bottle nipples and keep them in place so they get really clean and don't flip upside down. There are optional slats on the sides that can be used to hold straws or you can just fold them down and get them out of the way. This was great for bottles, pump pieces and now sippy cup lids. it just sits on the rack, so when we don't need it, we just take it out and put it in the cupboard until next time. It's a pretty cool little gadget.

The best dishwasher basket, fits almost everything. After really liking the first one I bought, I got another one for myself and one for each set of grandparents. I used Avent and Medella bottles and 6 different brands of sippy cups, and so far all of the small parts fit. The Avent nipples are larger, so there is no way 10 would fit in the basket. I could easily fit 5 of them in the top at once. We have moved twice since I got this, and it fit in all 3 dishwashers in the larger middle row on the top rack, but it might be slightly wide for some dishwashers. We also use it to wash other small things like our wine stoppers. I really don't think I would change anything about this, and I see us using it long after there are not longer sippy cups in the house. The fact that it cost less than most of the competitors is just a bonus.

I loved this when my toddler was an infant so i was excited to get it again. I dont think I had the choice of color, but that's alright. A few weeks into using, the top cracked. It still works, I was just bummed. Great for all lids, bottle pieces (especially Dr. Brown's!), pacifiers, and reusable straws.

Needed to replace the smaller basket I had as the rubber coating is wearing off from the metal bars of the basket leaving it looking grimy and not very clean as it begins to rust. This basket is larger but with the small opening that will make it perfect for small items and lids to be cleaned in my dishwasher. I also have a microwave rice cooker that has a rubber seal which must be removed and washed after each use. This basket will serve much better to put that in for a thorough cleaning.

Let's be honest who has time to wash bottles when your 4 month old is in constant need of your attention lol. The days of parts from your bottles (I use Dr Browns) falling into the bottom of the dishwasher and burning or melting are over. The dr. Brown nipples fit perfectly in the top slots and I can fit parts for roughly six bottles in the container. It fits nicely on the top rack and doesn't get stuck or obstruct the spinning thing on the top. All in all this thing saves lots of time and prevents the parts from falling in and melting.

We have three for all of the bits and pieces of our 1 year old daughter's bottles, cups, and utensils. My husband usually throws in small items too to be washed. We also put her toys in them to wash them. Would highly recommend and buy again.

Pros - easy to take care, saves my time to have my coffee :) I blame myself that I only bought it with my second child, not the first. The parts always are washed well, no detergent left. Use it and for toddlers sippy cups parts and other small things, that "get lost in dishwasher". If you are formula feeding, would buy it asap :) Cons - only that you will need more baby bottles ( I use 5 of them), cause wont put dishwasher for few bottles :) and sometimes I worry that I should wash with more ecological, baby-friendly detergent :)

This container is nice and thick/sturdy. There are also plenty of holes for water and soap to get the things inside clean. The hinges are all actual two-piece hinges, not folding plastic. The straw holders on the side flip it out and up, so they don't need to be out when not in use. You could also remove them and replace them later, however they'd probably be easy to misplace. Mine are staying attached. This would be a great present a new parent-even after the kids are done with bottles and pacifiers, sippy cups tend to have about 728,102 pieces each. It's also good for putting all sorts of small things in the dishwasher--like lids and toys. The lid is made to fit nipples, but also has other gaps and is non-specific enough it could be used for other things. This is a great design. Very tiny things will fall through the sides or bottom, though. Those would probably need to be placed in a mesh bag for the dishwasher, or washed by hand. As with all baskets of this type, you have to be aware of how you arrange the items inside (just like in the regular part of the dishwasher, actually) so everything gets clean. Overall, I am very happy with this. It is high-quality and is the best dishwasher holder/bottle basket I've used.

I needed something to put my smaller things in my dishwasher. I had one of these years ago and it was perfect. I am so glad I got it. Works great for cleaning disassembled water bottles and small plastic Tupperware containers.

I've had this dishwasher basket for about a month now, washing dishes on a nearly daily basis, and it works! It fits snuggly on the top rack in the corner, held in place by the "spikes" of the rack. I wanted something to store my kid's plastic flatware so I wouldn't have to hand-wash them all individually anymore; they slide right into the slots in the top and stay put! (I buy Parent's Choice flatware, dishes, and cups.) I also put the removable valves from the cups in the dishwasher basket because they're small as well. Everything comes clean and stays put! The size is great for lots of stuff too - I hardly ever need all the space available. I would buy this again, but I'm sure I won't have to because it's holding up so well! But as a gift? Absolutely!
