Very big, cleared as checked baggage on an international flight with no problem, and no apparent damage after the flight. The baggage handle strap was also super helpful, although my rolling baggage that it was strapped to did not seem up to the challenge of carrying this 50 pound monster around - oops! The bag, however is very convenient and everything that is promised!

Fantastic for travel!

We took this bag inside a suitcase on a 19 day trip to Europe, in case we needed more space to bring things back. Of course, we did! We packed it with mostly our dirty clothes and shoes and some unbreakable gifts and it came through our air travel in great condition! With the current state of airlines, we did have to pay for an extra bag, but the last trip we took to Europe we bought another suitcase in Italy to get things home. We're so happy to have a great alternative to that from now on! Highly recommended!

Love this bag! Huge, durable, and looks great.

I coached my kids soccer team this season and purchased this bag to haul around all my junk. This bag is perfect for that application! I was able to carry a 4 person folding bench, 6 water bottles, 3 #4 soccer balls, 50 cones, first aid kit, 2 pair of shoes, shin guards, practice jerseys, whistles, and a ball pump. Shoulder and hand straps were used through the season and held up well. Straps on each end of the bag prove especially useful under certain circumstances. Being able to separate certain things out into the pockets was super nice, you weren't digging around in the bottom of the bag for stuff. I'd buy again if I have a need, which I don't at this point.

My favorite feature is that it folds up into a pouch

We frequently take week-long trips to the beach during the summer. Traditional suitcases take up too much room so we started switching to duffel bags. I bought these for our most recent trip - two in the 100L size for myself and my husband, and one in the 80L size for my son. My daughter used a duffel we already had. They definitely take up less room in the back of the car. Only time will tell about durability. The best part - they fold up compactly into their own zipped up pouch. So glad I don't need to add these to the pile of suitcases in the attic. We can each keep them in our closet and use when needed. The 100L was plenty big enough for a week's vacation - several pairs of shoes, clothes, toiletry bags. It is very large, so a bit awkward for me to carry (I'm very petite). I may end up purchasing a slightly smaller one for myself. I am confounded by the pricing, however - the prices fluctuate, and at one point, the smaller bag was more expensive than the larger one. So watch the price before you buy.

Huge capacity

This was amazing. 2 bath rugs, 4 towels, full sheets and mattress pad, 2 cast iron frying pans, a pot with lid, glass storage containers with lids, cutting board and knives, mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons and other baking supplies, cookie sheets, dishes and cups for 2 people, kitchen towels and 4 hot pads...seriously it all fit. My dining room table was covered with stuff for my son’s first apartment, and it all fit. There are handles on the ends, top, and a shoulder strap. I carried it to the car myself without a problem. I’ll be getting another one for my daughter.

Check this back from Morocco to Lisbon and Lisbon to Miami. I was super worried it might not hold up, but it arrived in perfect condition. Super compact. Easy to pack inside a bag and easily unfolds to use after a ton of shopping. Mine was loaded and heavy....held up well.

Flexible Options

The Gonex is quite a nice design. I bought the 100 Liter cubic capacity version. The duffel bag does fold nicely into a compact and packable shape for when it's not being used. Once unfolded you have access to the full length opening plus 4 outside zippered pockets. The zippers and handle work well, and the fabric color is rich. I would rate the bag as medium duty. It can hold a lot and take a lot of stuffing, dropping, and packing in to odd corners. Load it up with heavy books or the like will cause the fabric to fail at one or more points. It's not built for that. But as a take anywhere travel duffel you can pack 50 or so pounds by weight of all the clothing, shoes, and towels you'll need for a week, plus still have room for things like your DVD player, DVD's, toiletries, and a computer or IPad. All this for a reasonable price and your choice of colors make it an attractive option for travelers and commuters who need to pack lots of gear.

Excellent bag!

Worried if it will be able to hold if I fill it up. Took it on as an extra bag for shopping on the trip. Folded very small, which was great. Packed it up to the tilt, weighing over 23 kg/50 pounds. Held its shape, and handled all the weight very well. Could not have asked for a better bag!
