Very effective solution that works ...
We live in a state where sending a young adult off into the streets with a car is not so dissimilar to dropping them into a school of barracudas- people have zero tolerance for a driver whose reflexes are not honed down to millisecond reaction times. This signage does magic in such an environment that is hostile to a new driver - people seem to cast off their barracuda streak the instant they see such a sign and let my son do a lane change comfortably. The effectiveness of this signage is perhaps an evidence of rare instances of human behavior where aggression and intolerance almost always yields to empathy. So glad I bought this product - thanks to the reviews of other parents who also reported the very same benefit.

A Teen driver, Godsend
I had the pleasure of teaching 2 of my boys how to drive in southern California this summer. I loved the idea of using reflective magnets as a heads up to other drivers, especially on the freeway. It worked, we forgot them one day and it was night and day how other drivers responded to them. People were more patient, some got out of their way, but mostly no one cut them off, or aggressively rode them and rushed them. I bought 2 different types because I was torn. These were my favorite. They are strong magnets, didn't damage my paint job, were a good size, and easily viewable and readable from a distance. I'd buy them again, but doubt I'll need to. They seem quality enough to make it through my next two kids as well. I did remove them when we were not driving because we lived in a very hot Mojave desert setting. I was worried the heat would ruin them. The quality of the surrounding areas was questionable and I worried someone might steal them.

So great for first time drivers!
My husband moved here from a different country where he never had the need to drive. He came from a city that had buses and a lot of walking. He got his permit a few months ago and we bought these so he felt better learning to drive here. They have been so useful and helpful for him! He's learning to drive on a manual vehicle, which means a lot of stalling. There have been no honks and people have been patient. I wish I had these when learning how to drive. Just make sure that the place you're putting them on are in fact magnetic. The one part of our backside under the license plate is not, but the space next to it is.

Helpful to have for teen drivers
I got these for my kid so people don't think we are drunk drivers and it's been helpful to have on the car. People have a lot more patience for my teen driving down the road and these are really visible while driving. I did end up putting 2 of them on my car just in case it was overlooked, but this is a set of 3. You could get away with just using one. It is also reflective so that helps for driving at night.

Reflective Yellow Magnetic Student Driver Signs are High Quality and Convenient
These "Student Driver" magnetic signs are high quality and appear durable. Unfortunately, I discovered that my teenager's Volvo XC60 had no metallic surfaces front or rear to which these signs could adhere, but I drilled holes in the corners and mounted them under the bolts on my license plate frames. The other two magnetic signs adhered just fine to the side doors. I find it very convenient that I can remove the door signs when my teenager's not driving. As to their effect: Some drivers respond to my teenager's driving lessons with extra courtesy. Others seemingly antagonize her more, when they see the signs -- I think many drivers grow impatient out of fear that my teenager's lesson may somehow impede their driving progress. ...but that's no fault of the signs, themselves: they look great and really stand out.

Super Product... Student Driver Must-Have
This review is long overdue. The quality is great; vibrant colors, good magnet and size. I loved these. In fact I think others did too because unfortunately someone stole one(1) of mine within a few days after. If they liked it you will too. They are definitely high-grade, qualitative and value for money. I highly and unreservedly recommend you get one if you want to convey a clear yet attractive way of saying Student Driver (precious cargo) on board.

Good Product.
So far so good, have about 100 miles at up to 50 mph and they stay on back and sides of vehicle - temperature range has been 20 - 40 degrees with rain and road salt. I have found people to be more respectful and back off when they see the magnet. I do not leave them on the vehicle all the time, only when the learner is driving; like any magnet, if left on for long periods of time it could cause damage to the paint. UPDATE: Been using this for over a month of practice driving. Have since used it on the highway - 70 mph, has held up excellent. This is a great product.

A great worthwhile purchase for your child's safety & your sanity
I purchased these for my 16-year-old as he's learning to drive. These are great for other drivers to take notice and give my child a little bubble for which to learn safely on the road. When the stickers are on people back up a little bit and don't honk. My child in turn feels safe knowing that if he makes a mistake other drivers will be more forgiving as he is a new driver . The stickers create this bubble around him as he is driving because the other drivers back away and give him more space as he is driving. The stickers are very clear and well made. They are thick which is good because they won't curl. When you purchase these remember that not every part of your car is magnetic. I ended up buying two packages. Two on the sides ( front and back) and hood and rear . We have a large car and I want to make sure that other drivers saw that my son was a new driver from all angles. The stickers are very helpful. Teaching your child to drive is stressful enough. So stressful!! Especially with all the mistakes that they make. The stickers ensure that other drivers let my child make those mistakes in the safe space and share the road more kindly. This is my second son to go to drivers training and I am very thankful for these stickers.

So I was happy to see these student driver magnets
My daughter is learning to drive right now. We travel often to the city and traffic is crazy at times. So I was happy to see these student driver magnets. There are three magnets that come in a package. I was able to place one on each side of the car and on the back. I have a SUV and didn't have trouble finding a good spot for them. They were easy to put on and take off the vehicle. The magnets are a nice size and are easy to see. Hopefully, this will help others drivers be more cautious.

These magnets stick well enough not to slip when we ...
These magnets stick well enough not to slip when we drive. They also come off when we need to take them off, which I do often. My son balked at first, until I explained that they would make other drivers more understanding. We've been practicing in very sparse areas, but the lone driver we encountered still honked. Argh! Still, I think they help because I know that I myself give new drivers a wide berth and a dose of compassion when I see these signs.
