I just received my Double E Excavator DIY R/C Excavator this afternoon. The excavator was purchased for my grandson who will be 6 next week. I apologize for not reviewing the excavator sooner, but I have spent the past 2 hours playing with (I mean testing) it since it arrived. The excavator is well built and I tested all of the functions, including the accessories that were included (claw and hydraulic hammer). Everything functioned as advertised and the operation of the excavator was limited only by my senior citizen eyes and coordination. I know my grandson will love this excavator, he is enthralled with all construction equipment and this excavator mimics the operation of an actual excavator to a "T", including engine sound, hammer sound, horn and even reverse warning audible alarm. My grandson is very adept at operating remote control devices we have given him in the past and I am anxious to see him operate this excavator utilizing his excellent hand/eye coordination. I anticipate a great deal of enjoyment watching him master this device. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Works as advertised! Fun!

Ordered the DOUBLE E 17 R/C Excavator as a gift for me and my 5 y/o to enjoy. I chose this model as it comes with a working claw, shovel and hammer attachments. The shovel and hammer are metal, the claw plastic. The claw does open and close, the hammer does hammer. Changing between the three takes just a few minutes, once you figure it out. The excavator does not travel fast, but it is fast enough. Controls for the arm are accurate. Battery life is about 30-45 min per charge so far. I am happy with the purchase and would buy this product again.

Heavy Duty and great quality

I haven’t given this gift to my son, but so far I’m impressed. The packaging is high quality and the product itself is heavy duty and durable. Not like other toy excavators we’ve had in the past. Can’t wait to see it in action. My 8 yr old son has been playing with this non stop since Christmas. The battery lasts a long time and no problems so far. Both my Husband and I have played with it too. Great for all ages. I wrote a review and received an extra battery pack for free from the Company as a “thank you” gift.

Great product!!

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson who absolutely loves it so does his Papa who plays with it just as much, I like the fact that you can switch the bucket for either a drill or claw, my grandson said "This is the best Christmas present I ever got!"

It's a great 5th birthday gift for my kid

It's a great 5th birthday gift for my kid. He enjoyed his birthday party with construction vehicle theme this year and we had planned his favourite excavator. We bought one in Amazon earlier for 32$ which turned out to be a dissapointment.Then we went for this one though we were skeptical on it's price. But it turned out to be the best ever toy for him. He loves playing with it. Even we started to play as the controls are more precise and feels like operating a real excavator . More videos and photos coming soon...

Great toy, lots of fun!

This is a really awesome toy. Works great and is everything we expected it to be. The only negative is it doesn't turn right and left well on carpet, which is a little disappointing because the kids love to play with it in the living room. It does go forward/backwards on carpet. We do still love it and would highly recommend it!

Wow! My husband bought this for our son but it is definitely more of a big boy toy. Keeps my husband busy for hours! Excellent customer service.

Solidly built.

Grandson loves this. Spent all day Christmas playing with it, and sleept with it. Love that you can turn the sound off from the remote. Well made. Didn't take long to learn to work the controls. Daddy and pop pop enjoyed playing with it too. Would definitely recommend.

The excavator came in a good amount of time

The excavator came in a good amount of time. I like the look of it and it's nice the cabin is opened so you can stick a figure in there. It is well made and attention to detail. I'm enjoying it along with the accessories.

Fantastic Remote Control Monster Truck

I purchased the DOUBLE E RC Monster Truck to replace a different brand monster truck that we bought for our 4 year old son for Christmas. Unfortunately, the other brand truck did not operate correctly and with good reason my son was rather disappointed. The DOUBLE E RC Monster Truck, however, is fantastic. My son lives using both indoor and outdoors. Just after a few coaching tips, my son was able to operate the truck all on his own. The truck has great speed and is very well constructed!! If your thinking about purchasing this truck, go for it. You won’t be disappointed!!!
