Great quality at a really good price

When removing bearing on a outboard motor drive shaft, I needed something to grip the bearing and withstand the force necessary to press it off. I don't do this type of work very often so a good quality tool and a cheap price was what I needed. This is it! Nice care and worked like a charm!

It pulls bearings...

I bought this item to pull and reinstall bearings on a lathe spindle. It worked perfectly, and this product seems to be at a good quality vs price point for an occasional user.

Product DOES work. HOWEVER when pulling bearings cut the outter race off and pull from the inner. Tighten it very good. Also use heat on the bearing. Lots of it only way this is efficient. The heat will expand the metal

Excellent Value!

You could easily pay 2 X more for this kit and it still would be a bargain! It's an excellent value for the quality and assortment you get. Works effortlessly on bearings as well as other mechanical components such as small to medium sized pulleys and gears. It comes with a nice assortment of adapters and extensions, which is pretty much all you'll need to get most any job done. The case it comes in is also nice and sturdy, better than what comes with most other tools in this price range. I know a lot of you might be thinking, you get what you pay for, and I tend to believe that is true for a lot of things, but this here tool set is without a doubt the exception. Buy it, try it, and you'll see it's a keeper!

Worked for me

I had a light duty job -- pulling a bearing from a miter saw armature. This kit worked like a champ. I wan't thrilled with having to buy it for one job, but I guess I have it for when I need it again. (If I need it again.)

Easy to use

I was able to start using this immediately. Easily removed the bearings from fs130 and fs110 camshafts. Easy to use and easy to put together.

Holding up so far..

Decent economical set that should last as long as you don't abuse. 5 Tons actually comes up real fast with pullers, so if you have to start really wrenching think about ways to mitigate forces. Try heat, if safe, or long soaks in rust/corrosion fluids (not talking standard WD40 here) and do both dealing with really stuck parts. And most important, grease your puller threads and sliding parts with high-pressure grease- that's the number one reason pullers strip and sometimes the reason they break!

Very well built... I got this so I can replace my Center support bearing in my 2001 HD with an 8.1 and Allison and it worked perfectly
