Heck yeah!
I'm a professional wedding photographer and I will often find myself away from lighting equipment (set up on dance floor) at weddings. I use on-camera flash in those instances (usually pointed up). I think this will be great in high ceiling venues. First photo (properly exposed) is with the soft box on, second is with it off. So impressed with this, esp for the price! Fits perfectly on my 600 ex-rt.

Soft Box Diffuser
I purchased this after a friend purchased one and was so happy. For the price, this is excellent. I used it yesterday and I had two photo outings on an dreary over cast day. This illuminated their faces so beautifully. Be sure to have extra batteries as when using flash it tends to use up more battery. I strongly recommend this and will share it with other members in my camera club

A great product at a great price
This is a well made softbox diffuser that easily fits on a Canon 580exII speedlite. It is easily placed on the lite and easily removed. The product folds down nicely and fits into its own carrying case. In a quick test today where the speedlite was set about 4 feet from a vase, the softbox worked perfectly. It spreads and softens the light. In this single test, it seemed to reduce the light by about 2/3 of a stop. I would recommend this to a friend, and I would purchase it again if I had to do it over again. In addition, the seller's documentation in the package makes it very clear that they want customers to be 100% satisfied. This vendor is wonderful.

Well-built, inexpensive and does the job.
First off, this three-pack is priced ridiculously cheaply. Don't let that fool you. They're not perfect (in fact, they can be a little floppy in the large size.) But the quality of light is great, thanks to the silvered walls and double diffusion. As the publisher of Strobist, I am constantly trying out new mods for small flashes. In the "mini" soft box class, these are my current favorite. The B&W photos above, of Cuban National Team boxer Osmany Barcely, is a good example of what this can do when used necessarily close. The waist-up photo was done outside, in the middle of the day, with the 8x11" box about 30" away from Osmany. The head-and-shoulders shot was done with the box about a foot away from his head, and rotated back towards the camera to control light on the left. The box lights evenly, has a great edge for feathering, and folds up flat. It also mounts very quickly, and cost next to nothing. What more could you want?

Excellent lightweight or travel softbox!
It's not a true softbox and won't soften the light like one, but for the price you're getting a whole lot of value here. I generally use this on an off-camera flash or when traveling, stick it in my bag for my on-camera flash. It's incredibly lightweight but built tough, and folds FLAT (one of the questions I had before purchasing it. Thanks Amazon community for the answers!) The spines are stiff but do well to hold the periphery of the illuminating area static. I found the middle of the road 9x7" size to be perfect for a packable solution. It's not too small causing the light to not soften enough, and not large enough to cause undue bulkiness while shooting. It also cuts down on top-heavy weight on the camera. The attachment is velcro and before you poo poo it, let me just say it's felt as secure and feels completely sturdy as anything else I've tried on the flash's head. There's even a little fabric flap inside that acts as another diffuser before light even hits the main diffusion area. It also prevents the softbox from sliding up into the softbox so it has a purpose other than some gimmicky little extra piece. It can be a little fiddly, but attaches to the interior portion of the softbox and can stay out of the way if you don't wish to use it. Versatile, I like that. It's a little easier to use than the Gary Fong solution, plus it's a more direct light and doesn't lose as many stop of light saving some battery life in the process. I actually prefer using it more than the GF lately. Works great on Yongnuo 560iv's, Canon 600ex ii's and probably comparable Nikon flashes. Again, you're not going to get a super duper soft light out of these but for how compact and lightweight they are, you'd be foolish not to pack it in just in case!

Wish id purchase alot sooner!!
I bought this with my flash and I swear I want to kick myself for not getting this sooner. My pictures are amazing. Just received today 4.26.2017 and I tested it in my room with my new backdrops and I'm in love . I didn't even bother setting up in my studio . I tested everything in my dark room and thus works AMAZING in combination with my new flash pictures look like I'd they were taken outside.. I strongly recommend this product!!

A must for a beginner like me!
I love having this diffuser specially when taking photos during the night or low light situation as it soften the shadows.

Great quality diffuser for Nikon SB-800 and macrophotography
Very nicely made diffuser with good stitching of materials. Fits my Nikon SB800 well and works quite well for my primary intended purpose of providing non-specular light for macrophotography. I overlooked that there were multiple sizes, otherwise I might have opted for the 9x7" size.

It's very sturdy, does not collapse once attached to the speedlite
I was searching for a light modifier for my Canon 430 EX II speedlite and found this. It's very sturdy, does not collapse once attached to the speedlite, and fits very snuggly due the velcro around the end. I actually prefer this to my Gary Fong light diffuser - that thing NEVER stays on my speedlite! It creates beautiful, soft light, enough at the lowest power output. I LOVE it for wedding receptions.

I finally used it last night and it worked perfect. Photograph myself and played around with a background
