The compression bags were outstanding. For years, I have used those take-air-out with vacuum cleaner bags for compression purposes, and invariably they fail all too quickly. All you need with these, is to be attentive to keeping the material out of the zipper path, and voila, fast and very effective. I went on an international trip recently with carry-on only as a result of using these bags. Very happy. (One important point - make sure you buy the compression bags with 2 zippers if you want the compression effect. I got some non-compression bags with one zipper and they are lovely bags- strong and flexible for packing protection- but they do not "compress".)

These certainly allow you to pack a lot more in a smaller space. I love how things stayed wrinkle free. I actually didn't expect that part, even though it was listed as a feature. They also allow you to stay nice and organized. I will definitely purchase more in the future. Would love to see more colors.

This is a great set! I used all but the largest cube for a 16-day trip to Europe, which I packed for in a carry-on size roller suitcase. I used a capsule wardrobe, but was able to fit quite a lot into each cube: In the long cube- 4 scarves, 2 bandanas and 3 pairs of boot cuffs In the extra small- 6 underwear, 1 pair of Lycra shorts, 1 tank top, 1 long-sleeve Lycra top In the small- 6 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of tights, 1 pair of knit leggings In the medium- 2 dresses, 1 skirt, 4 blouses In the large, I was able to fit 1 pair of jeans, 1 jeggings, 3 cardigans and a shirt dress, but I needed to leave space in my suitcase for souvenirs I knew I’d be buying, so I wore the jeans/shirt dress on the plane and rolled the cardigans/jeggings and filled in gaps between the smaller cubes with them. I am 5’6” and just slightly over average weight, so my clothes are NOT tiny ;) We stayed in 8 different hotels during our travels, which meant a LOT of packing and unpacking! These cubes were sturdy, yet flexible. The zippers glided easily on the top flap. Sometimes when compressing, the zipper would catch the fabric on the side, but only because I stuffed these babies to the max! I found the best way to avoid this was by folding my clothes flat when packing instead of rolling, and pressing down the side fabric with one finger while pulling the compression zipper with the other hand. I kept my clothes in their respective cubes and put the cubes into the drawers in the hotel room, or just left them in my suitcase, unzipping everything and just moving the flaps over for access. I had read how packing cubes help keep your items organized, and wow! So true! No more digging around in a messy pile of clothes! The drawstring bag was great for separating my dirty clothes until I could wash them. I haven’t washed the bags yet, but the instructions are hand wash only and lay out of direct sun to dry. This set would make a great gift for anyone!

I love these compression packing cubes. I think they will be sturdy and give me plenty of options. I had 6 underwear and 3 boy shorts into the smaller cube

These compression cubes are amazing! I love all the different sizes, the X-large one is perfect for packing jackets. I'm going on a 9 day trip to Europe and didn't want to check in any bags so I needed a way to fit all my outfits in a small carry on and these seem to do the trick! I have not travelled with them yet, I'll review again when I do, but I tested them out and I was able to fit a long jean jacket, a long trench coat, and 7 shirts in the X-Large bag, and still have room for more. I was also able to fit 4 pairs of jeans and long pants in the large bag, and 10 ladies underwear in the X-small bag, still filling up the other bags but so far it's awesome how much you can fit and I was able to store in nicely in a 21 inch carry on. I also purchased an Eagle Creek one to test out both and this was way better, more space, better compression, and better price! The Eagle Creek only came with a large bag and a small/medium bag that barely fit what I needed it to and was only $5 less than this. I highly recommend!

I'm so glad I bought these things. The compression feature is amazing. I thought they would only be useful for travel, but now I keep an extra jacket scarf hat and gloves in one inside my backpack daily in case the weather turns. I couldn't have fit all that stuff before. They have solid workmanship and the handles are somehow very nice to have too. The long one is nice for hair stuff when traveling, or undergarments. The other two fit an outfit each into smaller space than I thought possible. I feel like my suitcase doubled in size. Used them for a 3 day trip, and packed field gear, office clothes computer and personal items into an underseat bag. I will never travel without these things again. Got home and promptly ordered a second set.

i bought this to put my dirty laundry in while traveling. it used to be that by the end of a trip my laundry bag would take up most of my suitcase. now i can zip this down to reduce the size, which is handy.

I travel a lot for work and I've never been a very good packer. I tend to pack way more than I need and I'm constantly cramming my suitcase trying to get it to close. I purchased these to solve that problem and they are the perfect solution. In the photos I've attached, I'm packing 15 pairs of underwear into the XS bag

I own both Eagle Creek and Lewis and Clarke brand of compression bags, and these Gonex are very comparable if you are more price conscientious without wanting to sacrifice TOO much for quality/function. My Lewis and Clarke brand ones are almost identical in design, so honestly, I couldn't tell the difference. Except, my Lewis and Clarke bags don't have the nifty pull handles! I was able to put 3 cotton shirts and 2 pairs Bermuda shorts in the Small size. The XS size I had 2 high impact sport bras, 1 workout spandex shorts, and 4 microfiber undies. I stuff my socks in my packed shoes, so I didn't add them in. I wear a size 12/Large in most clothing, so it's not like I have tiny clothes (although, to be fair, these are summer clothing). The long one is great for any additional stuff, including pants (because when those are rolled up, they tend to be the longest rolled pieces) and a pajama pant set (which is what I have). I packed for 6 days in these in a 19" X 15 square pack and had room for clunky boots, my toiletry/makeup bags and other knick knacks. I could have stuffed them a bit more full, but the down side to these great little compression bags, is that once they are stuffed, they make your backpack a lot heavier, reeeeeal quick. So, I played it safe and didn't overstuff. Would buy these again!

I love these. I have purchased the Eagle Creek compression pack cubes in the past, but they are so expensive for the little you get (only 2 pcs for $37). These ARE compression, they DO have another zipper that compresses them. The rip-stop nylon on the bag is durable, and the zipper and pulls are durable. I would have to say just as durable as my Eagle Creek ones. I love the larger size, since men's clothing is bigger than women's, it will be nice to pack my husbands shorts and clothing in. These are a great value for what you get, and nice to get a large one (I have not seen any other companies that offer this larger size). UPDATE: I just used them for my trip, they are fantiastic. This package of various sizes is a great value and the large size is perfect for men's clothes. The zippers are durable, as is the product. I will be buying another set of these. It's nice to keep everything separated. They held up just as well as my Eagle Creek ones, and they were much less expensive for more of them.
