Works great! But makes a REALLY loud noise when it switches directions. ******** UPDATE ******** Received an extremely quick response from the company who insisted they replace it. Within 2 days I received a new massager at no additional cost (and they didn't want the old one back) and this new one is AWESOME!! Super quiet 😉 I also love how quick they were to fix the problem!

Etekcity Back Massager

I just received this and couldn't wait to try it out. This is a wonderful massager. I forgot to use the pillow cover when I used it, but will try to use it next time. The pillow cover is a pretty tight fit. Maybe there's a learning curve as it doesn't quite cover the whole massager; and if it's just supposed to cover the rotating balls, it doesn't seem to fit quite right. However, this massager works as advertised and feels so good. I used the heat setting and it gives off a pretty good warmth. I like how you can move it around to whatever area you want to use massage. I wish the cycle would last longer than 20 minutes, but I can live with it . According to the directions, you're supposed to wait 30 minutes before you use it again. I like it so much that I am tempted to get another one so I have one ready to go while the other massager cools down.

Awesome!

After looking through similar, more expensive massagers, although still a little skeptical, I chose this one from reading the reviews. The reviews weren’t wrong. This little thing is AWESOME! For being the size that it is, I wasn’t expecting it to be overly powerful, nor give off enough heat to make a difference. Boy was I wrong!! Very highly recommended!!

I love this thing

I love this thing. The 4 nodes on each side are all different sizes, which I really like. The heat is warm, but not too hot. Just enough to relax you. Works great on your neck, back, legs, feet, anywhere really.

A Must Have - Best Purchase I made in Years!

Where to start. I have neck and shoulder injuries. I took a chance on this Massager. I am so happy I did. This is the best investment I have made in a long time. Tell you husband or wife they are off the hook now. This will be your new go to. Perfect amount of heat. You have control over the pressure. If you have trigger points, scar tissue, overall tightness this is for you. It is easy to handle and move around all parts of your body. I use on my hips, legs, neck, shoulders, feet, and hands. I am in PT and took this in for my PT peeps to try out and I sold 2 for Etekcity so far. I may have sold more if they passed on to their other clients. HINT - HINT Etekcity. Must Buy! You will want to take this with you everywhere!

I have horrible knots in my back which is the main reason ...

It does work really well against my neck and back, but that’s when I can get it to stay, and generally in an uncomfortable position to begin with. One of the things that sold me on this was the strap to strap it to chairs. It will not stay where I strap it and only slides down when I put it on the chair. If I try a different spot without the strap it tends to crawl either up or down depending on which way it’s rotating. The heat feature doesn’t seem to warm up, only make the massager rotate a bit faster. I have horrible knots in my back which is the main reason I was looking for one of these machines. It has yet to help those because I can’t get it to stay. Update: The company reached out to me and offered to send out a new unit. I’ve been able to test it out and the new one works much better. Provides much needed relief at the end of the day.

Amazing

I worked in a top-notch spa for years, but left 3 years ago. Since I left, I have missed the ability to get a professional massage (at an employee discount!) when tension began to develop. I got this massager as a birthday present to myself, and I'll admit I was skeptical that it would do much for the knots I had developed. The price, however, and other reviews, made it worth a try. When I turned it on, I immediately felt as if I was getting a deep tissue massage. It was that "hurts so good" feeling that let me know that the adhesions were breaking up - just as my favorite LMP would do. Just as with a professional massage, I drank a lot of water afterwards, and the muscles felt "bruised" to the touch the next day. But SO much more loose, and the next day, my back felt like it had not done in a very long time. Of course, you don't need to use as much pressure as I do. And since then I have used it every evening on my neck, and now that the knots have been worked out, there is only a feeling of deep relaxation. I don't know how durable it will be with the heavy use I will give it, although it looks very well made. No cheap knockoff! And the warranty is great. But even if it didn't have one, and even if I wear it out in 6 months, I would still consider it a very valuable investment!

Godsend after a spinal injury.

Several months ago, I was in a car accident that has left my back in chronic, albeit, livable pain. The extent of my injuries didn't make me a candidate for PT, and the doctor cleared me to see masseuses or use an electric massager as desired. To keep costs down, I enlisted my fiancé in giving me daily back massages to help manage the aching, but that just wasn't doing the trick. We bought this as a supplement, and I'm pleasantly surprised to report that in less than a week, this massager has almost entirely replaced him (although only as a back and neck masseuse)! Like many things you use on your body, you have to figure out what works personally best for you and get into that groove. I got a bruise on my lower back (vicinity of my left spinal erector) following my first use, but that was an operator error. It felt AMAZING at the time, because that area is my greatest source of pain and my fiancé would never put that much pressure near my spine for fear of hurting me... but alas, you have to learn your limits and not indulge/lean into the massage too much. The heat function, too, is a wonderful, added bonus that has really helped with a lot of my back inflammation. At only around $40, this product is a godsend, and it's safe to say that it is one of my most useful and enjoyable Amazon purchases yet!

Shockingly Effective Massager!!!

I saw all the good reviews so thought I'd give this a try. I've been suffering from severe pain in one side of my upper back (right rhomboid) for over 3 years. My doctors injected me, gave me muscle relaxants, and told me to keep doing the yoga I had already been doing daily for years. All to no avail. They chalked it up to an extremely tight and spasming muscle, exacerbated by constant and extreme stress and too much sitting. Since I can't afford regular massages, I would just suffer for weeks and then take a muscle relaxant every once in a while for slight and very temporary relief. AND THEN I FOUND MY FIX WITH THIS LITTLE MASSAGER!!! I used this for the first time for about 20 minutes just on my upper back, with the heat on. It's a good heat, not too hot but definitely not a tepid warm. It really helps to loosen up the muscles. I then turned off the heat and used it for 20 minutes on my mid and lower back. By the end, i felt a bit loosened up, but also a little sore. The next day, my back was sore, but in a really good way. Like someone had given me a deep tissue massage. As I was walking around that day, I suddenly noticed that my back didn't hurt! There was NO pain! This was the first day in over 3 years that I wasn't in pain. I was shocked. I kept using the massager for 20 minutes a day for a few days, then switched to every other day, and now every few days. I am amazed that my back doesn't hurt anymore. It gets a little tight and I use this and holy cow, relief! I strongly recommend this little guy. I had little faith that it would do much, and I am so amazed and happy and ahhhhhh... Great product!!!!

Love Love Love!

I read quite a few reviews for this product and was on the fence on whether I should order it or not. I am soooo glad I did. All I can think of when I turn it on is ahhhh pure love :) It is amazing and I can almost hit the right spot every time! I am always sad when it shuts off but I know it is best to leave it off until the next day just because I do not want to unintentionally over work any muscles. I have used it on my lower, middle, and upper back depending on where I was sore or achy. Last night I used it just below the neck since it was super stiff and it worked wonders! I almost feel guilty using it since I probably will not need to make any massage appointments anytime soon. Definitely give it a try even if you are doubtful. If it is not for you, return it, no big. But do not cheat yourself ;)
