Seven 60 W LED bulbs at 8.5 W each makes a lot of light for 60 W total power
This is just what I needed to brighten my basement shop. I had been using two 85 W CFLs that I got for free. They died prematurely. Loaded with 60 W bulbs you get a lot of light. I used Philips bulbs that cost $30 for 16. They're non dimmable but that isn't an issue for my application. Two things to think about. The bulbs will be a lit lower than a single bulb in the same fixture so there might be a problem with a low ceiling. My basement has a 9 ft ceiling so no problem (It's a long story.) Filling this with 60 W incandescent bulbs might be a problem. That's 420 W, a lot of heat, and a lot of current for the contacts in a lamp socket. I guess you can't buy incandescents any more anyway.

Great with the use of medium wattage LED bulbs
Product came on time. Converting my home with LED lights and this was perfect for my needs. Screw in base of this socket is only 1 1/2 "inches, make sure you check you socket to see if you need an extender, also be aware this is a plastic bulb socket, other wise the product is well worth the purchase.

I said "Wow" after each extra bulb I plugged in. It changes my work.
Adding a second bulb makes it noticeably brighter in the room, and the third and fourth bulbs increase it by just as much each. I was worried it would be underwhelming, but my eyes focus so much easier and small electronics work and computer work don't strain my eyes as much. I use 60W equivalent daylight LED bulbs (Amazon Basics) and they are like a commercial fluorescent light in this thing about 15 feet off the floor.

Inexpensive way to an [almost] elegant light fixture
This makes a great minimalist and modernistic light fixture. We are using 5000K LED bulbs for this office space, but one could use all sorts of decorative or ornamental lamps in other locations. An excellent way to get very good lighting, even for a dining area, at a very low cost.

Let there be LIGHT!!!
Awesome product to increase the light in my garage without putting in something more expensive and fragile.

Great way to substitute LEDs
Great way to increase light output and lowering wastage load, using LED light bulbs. I replaced a 100w light bulb with 4 - 8.5w LEDs (60w equivalents). More than light, less watage load. Higher watage LEDs are more difficult to find and are much more expensive.

Sturdy and versatile
I'm using these with seven BR-30, 65W equivalent LED floods for basic work lights and bench lights. I know there are more compact, more rugged LED work lights out there, but I wanted something with a larger, softer source, and something with a high CRI (color rendition index) so I could use it for color critical applications, as well as just being easier on the eyes. The bulbs are the easy part, CREE now makes a CRI 90+ 6000K daylight line of bulbs that includes the BR-30 "reflector flood". The hard part, of course, is mounting a suitable "cluster" of BR-30 bulbs. That's where this adapter comes in. It lets you put seven of, well, anything, in one socket. It's sturdy enough so that BR-30s (or even the older, heavier Sylvania PAR-30LN "longneck" LEDs that I still have a case of) won't deform the arms. If you mount the adapter at 90 degrees, the bulbs remain true at 90 degrees, no drooping, no wobbling. And you can clamp around the long "neck" of the adapter for a rock solid mount. I was so satisfied I ordered another, then two more.

Works
Great product for increasing light levels in your garage. Just do not over-tighten the lamps into the sockets. The lamps will not illuminate. Back them out a little if that happens.

Great Garage Lighting
This is a great bulb holder for my garage. It beats having to do electrical work changing fixtures. I'm using 5 LED bulbs. Thank you.

Solid construction that does the job
I needed a simple solution to get more light into the laundry room. This adapter does the job. Plastic can mean many things, but the item is surprisingly sturdy and has a solid feel to it. All bulbs (LED) sit tight and the whole contraption does not appear bulky at all.
