Worked perfectly to hang my black out curtains
These hooks are the best! I live in an apartment that faces East and I can't drill holes into the walls. I used 3 hooks to hang up some black out curtains. The black out curtains were 54x86, 2 panels, weighing 4lbs total. I order those from Amazon too and just noticed the item weight/shipping weight. The cafe rod is 7/16 in diameter and adjustable for 48-86 for width and that fits perfectly in the hook. I did originally order a 7/8 cafe rod, but it was too thick for the hook so you want to ggo with anything smaller than 7/8. I got the smaller cafe curtain rod at bed bath and beyond. I used 3 just to be safe but I could have used 2 hooks. I can open and close my curtains really easily and there is not indication of unstableness. I did follow the command instructions (press for 10 seconds, remove hook, press for 30 seconds, put hook back, leave for 1 hour) before hanging my curtains so I think that also helped.

Great for use as a cabinet knob
I purchased these to use as pull knobs on my kitchen cabinets, I live in an apartment and I am not allowed to drill holes in the cabinets to install pull knobs, this worked amazing.

Perfect for hanging curtains
These hooks are a life saver when renting or when you just don't want holes in your walls. I wanted to hang curtains in my apartment but I didn't want to screw anything into the walls. I found a DIY project of using these hooks and a rod to hold a curtain. I will attach photos of how it looks. I love that I can have curtains without having to drill anything into the walls. The adhesive comes off cleanly when you don't need the hook any more. They are sturdy and never come down. I've had them up for almost a year now, and they have stayed in their place without a problem and through humid days.

I'm Hooked!
When a wall sees me with a hammer, it runs away. Yes,…you heard me right, but My walls like me now that I discovered 3M Command Hooks. I use them to hang curtains and for some panels that cover my window. I only needed one because I had an extra hook from my last project, so I bought it as an add-on item. BTW, did you notice Amazon dropped it’s Add-On threshold from $35 to $25? Thanks Amazon! Back to the hook…Hanging is a breeze. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol. Affix tape to the plastic Remove the wall side Place hook against wall for 10 seconds. I go longer. Remove hook. Hold plastic against wall for 30 seconds. I go longer. Let sit for an hour and bam! Hang your objects on a wall. The curtains hang close to the wall. That is the only downside using them for curtain hanging. I use them to support these panels as well. They work terrific. Considering aesthetics, durability, quality, versatility and price, these are undoubtedly five stars!

Holds grommet curtains perfectly
I used these command hooks on my wall in my college apartment to hold my curtain rod and my room-darkening curtains. It works perfectly. I would definitely recommend waiting the whole hour before hanging something like curtains on them though. I've had no problems with them though. I also used a 5/8" curtain rod and it fits perfectly in the hook with room to spare. Highly recommend

Awesome for Use on the Back of Furniture and Appliances
I love all the Command Hooks and these are no exception. I use them mainly to adhere to the back of furniture and wrap electrical cords around them so the cords dont hang on the floor. I also put one on the back of my coffeepot because the electrical cord is too long.

So far so good!!
I really like that I can get this type of adhesive hook without it having to be plastic. Kind of wish I had skipped the ‘wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol’ part though because it made the surface of my door look funny. Seems pretty sturdy from what I can tell. The doors I put these on do have a bit of texture to them, and one is in the bathroom where everything gets all steamy a couple times a day, so I’ll update if anything changes. Also, I repositioned one (each hook comes with two adhesive strips each), and can attest that it did in fact remove easily and without damaging the door. If it had been stuck longer than about ten minutes that might have changed, but the experience helped me feel confident in the efficient removability anyway. So far, I’m very pleased with this item.

These are excellent
I used the Command Hook 5 lb. hooks to install blackout curtains in a temporary apartment where I am staying and couldn't drill into the walls without jeopardizing my deposit. I bought a lightweight curtain rod, blackout curtains, and these, and it is the most amazing workaround to get some light- and noise-reduction from the street below. I have had these before on various front doors where I have lived, to hang wreaths or macrame owls, whatever, but hadn't considered this application because I just didn't need it. But man, I am so happy with this solution.

Renters must have!
Of course the house we’re renting doesn’t allow us to drill holes in the walls so I need to figure out an alternative to hang a black out curtain in my son’s nursery. I stumbled upon a few blogs stating to use these Command hooks to hold up the curtain rod. I saw the reviews and thought I’d give it ago! I bought (3)hooks, (1)Brushed Nickel 3/4”diameter curtain rod and of course the black out curtains all here on Amazon. Work out perfectly and super sturdy!!! Def. Recommend!

Beautiful towel bar replacement
I love the metal Command hooks! We recently remodeled a guest bathroom and decided to replace the standard towel bar with three of these brushed nickel hooks. They're attractive, match the faucets and other bathroom hardware, and feel sturdy and high quality. The hooks are attached to a highly textured wall and are holding fast. And I love that our thick bath towels stay put and don't fall off, even when wet. I also placed one of these on the back of the bathroom door as a robe hook. Nothing is hanging from it most of the time, but the attractive metal hook looks good either way!
