Nice bench, great value

For the money, this is a nice little bench. The pieces are thin, but what can be expected for the price. They fit together well and easy to assemble. I did add a darker water resistant stain. The metal top came scratched up, but I put some large tiles on top anyway. The company did give me $10 back when I contacted them which was really nice.

Love it!

I'd been looking for a patio/grill table when I stumbled across this. I wanted functionality AND beauty. This is the piece! Love it! The metal top allows me to set hot dishes on it. I purchased a couple small plastic bins and I can store my paper products in them in the cupboard. This is perfect for what I wanted. Easy to assemble (I recommend a power tool though). I painted mine multi colors for a pop of color on my patio but it was beautiful without paint.

Easy assembly, good design

The looks, functionality of design make it a 5-star to me. China really does have terrible cardboard - cheap - and the packaging did get damaged. One piece-part did get slightly split but some Elmer's and it repaired fine and didn't show anyway. The fit of the individual parts was amazing, clearly CNC "machined/cut". The screws were typical cheap Chinese material but did work fine and the 6 different sizes were well marked and appropriate per the instructions. It will be easy to replace them with stainless if it proves necessary later. The good organization of the hardware is why I didn't take of a star off for hardware quality. One extra screw per size (6) was good planning too. The only serious flaw in the design is the wood-on-wood slot-slides of the drawer and it will be a real nuisance in actually using the drawer. The wood is extremely soft, almost as soft as balsam wood, so, be carefull in using a power tool in inserting the screws. I used a small B&D electric screwdriver and "watched" it closely. I pre-painted (sealed) it with Minwax Poly Pecan colored stain and then a clear coat of poly before asembly. That way I got all edges and surfaces well covered before joining the parts. It really classed up the table. I am actuallly using it as a portable gas grill and propane bottle stand. The metal table top is perfect for food preparation and will be easy to clean. The door enclosure serves well as small pool-maintaining supplies cabinet and generally cleans up my patio. I really didn't expect the final usefullness of the table to be this good. I will enclose a picture later.

Very nice piece.

Bigger than I thought (Didn’t fit in the space I intended, but just found the perfect spot for it and now have a nice little garden center. It took a minute to put together by myself, directions not to difficult, lots of space!

Great Bench!

I think this potting bench is greatespecially for the money. I had my hubby add a sink and some matching knobs. I stained it to give it a nice sheen and color. (Note: I just took the pics which were taken a year after putting the bench out in the weather and using it)

Great deal and easy to customize to your style

I am so glad I purchased this. It is very simple to put together and for the price a great deal! I stained mine and it took the stain very nicely. I added different hardware and will be using as an outdoor food and drink server.

Wow, very pleasantly surprised at this table. I wanted it for a patio BBQ prep table, which will work nicely. I assembled it easily, although please really consider the pieces as I had two upside down before I realized it. Not a problem, however, as it was just a matter of removing a few screws and turning it the correct way. The instructions are both photos and words, which are a little confusing at first. The pieces are all marked, although sometimes hard to see. I plan to paint this white to match the rest of my patio furniture. I read other reviews about the quality of the wood and the ability to stain or paint. I can tell it will be a simple matter to paint, especially with a paint & primer all-in-one.

A little hard to put together but very nice once assembled.

Great product at this price

Great product at this price. Takes awhile to assemble as all parts are not marked to match the instructions. Metal top is easy surface to clean, but keep in a shaded area as when in direct sun, it gets too hot to use.
