Awsome bassinet!

I absolutely love this little bassinet, it folds up so easy. We took it to camping with us and it was super easy to fold up and it even comes with a bag to put it in. And you have to option for it to rock or not rock which is really cool. I dont know why people spend 300$ on a bassinet that stays in one place. Also it's actually pretty big. My son could probably sleep in it until hes one. Save yourself 200$ and get this neat little thing, From a mother of 2 to another.

Everything you need, nothing you don't.

This bassinet is great. Everything thing I could ask for. Pros: Small but large. Small footprint bit large enough to fit a baby for many months. Or especially great if your baby is big to begin with. Very sturdy too. Inexpensive. Foldable. Can be stored compactly or taken on travel. Safe. The all mesh sides help you see your baby and rest easy that they won't suffocate. Lightweight. It doesn't weigh a ton so can be moved around the house easily. Uses the same size sheet as my pack and play. Rocking ability. Haven't needed it yet, but nice to have. Cons (if you need these features, I have found them unneeded) No vibrating or noise options. No lights. No storage for diapers or anything like that. No automation of any sort. The mattress pad doesn't come completely out.

We love this bassinet!! We have used it for about 9 months and our little one sleeps like a dream! Highly recommend!

Sturdy, spacious, simple-looking

We bought this for our newborn - our first baby. I like the size and how much room it allows my baby to grow. The design of this bassinet is pretty functional, I can easily see my baby from the side view so I know how he is sleeping. Pretty good bassinet to start with as a new parent.

This bassinet has come in handy more than I can explain. For my first child we just used our pack n play, but when it came time for our second I realized I couldn't find the newborn insert anywhere (haha still cant). I was panicked because I really didn't want to leave my daughter on the bottom of the pack n play without it but I also didn't want to spend a fortune on a bassinet that she would outgrow. I found this after browsing through amazon and I LOVE it. I love that is folds SUPER easy and is easy to carry. We ended up being able to take it with us on trips too so that I did not have to figure out a new sleeping situation in different places. The only downside I can say about this is the "mattress" is comes with is a little hard for my liking (even for infants) but I just put a couple folded blankets wrapped around it so it would soften it for baby. Worth the investment and is big enough that it should last (my 6 month old still sits into it and uses it for trips)

Awesome Bassinet but DO NOT BUY Ely's & Co. FITTED SHEETS

This is the second MiClassic bassinet we bought - second one for grandma's room. We had no intention of buying another MiClassic because of the horrible bunching / crease that formed in the middle of the bassinet right where the baby sleeps. However, we did buy another and quickly realized that it was the fitted sheets that we were buying from Ely's & Co. listed as frequently bought with this bassinet that was causing the problem..not the bassinet itself! WARNING: DO NOT BUY Ely's & Co. Bassinet Sheet Set 2 Pack 100% Jersey Cotton for Baby Girl by Ely's & Co. for MiClassic bassinets - DOES NOT FIT - CAUSES BUNCHING / CREASE WHERE BABY SLEEPS - you will have to stretch these Ely's & Co. sheets and rip their seams to make them adequately fit the MiClassic bassinet and not cause the huge seam / bunching in the middle where the baby sleeps. In fact these sheets are what is causing the bunching / large fold in the middle of the bassinet that everyone is complaining about on the MiClassic bassinet listing NOT THE BASSINET ITSELF.

Cool idea

Cool idea! It's really easy to fold and carry. I can take my baby to my mom's house with his own bassinet.The mattress is also flat and sturdy, not like other small cosleeper. The rocking function is amazing, I use it more often than the normal mode. More perfect if fitted sheet is included. But it's OK for me, my son like his own swaddle and blanket. Price worth every penny.

Great mini crib for parents who are not ready to leave baby alone in nursery at night!

This bassinett is bigger than 15lb weight limit ones. My baby sleeps comfortable in it. She sleeps right next to our bed and we can see and hear everything. She outgrew her 15 lb bassinet quick, She is 3 and a half months and is already 16pounds! She is a big girl but I was not ready for her to sleep alone in her crib so we bought this travel crib to put in our room at night and i love it. The weight limit is 33lbs! I got a pack n play sheet n pack n play mattress cover n it fits perfect and snug. We only put her in halo or burts bees wearable blankets for safety so there is no loose blankets or items inside her travel crib. Peace of mind for parents who are not ready to leave her in the nursery at night. We plan on taking it on a flight on vacation so the folding feature hopefully helps and seems easy to take on trips or airport!!

Great product--not sure it was right for us

Writing this review for people like me who are first-time parents and not sure what to do. I have to give the product 5 stars because it was exactly as advertised and my daughter sleeps in it fine. I love that you can rock it and the gray looks very nice. I bought this for our bedroom to use during the first few months of my daughter's life while breastfeeding. I ultimately chose this over other bassinets because it's portable--which made it appealing for long-term use. But this is not a bassinet--it's HUGE--like almost as big as a crib. A bassinet would've been a way better fit for our room. Also, the baby is positioned MUCH lower to the ground in this compared to a traditional bassinet; which made reaching down to grab her hard after an unplanned C-section quite difficult (we ended up having to buy a co-sleeper for the bed for the first few weeks). Going back I would've just bought a simple traditional bassinet and then a Pack 'n Play for travel... Hope this helps others making a similar decision!

Easy to assemble/disassemble, spacious, and high quality for the price.

This bassinet was a life saver on our recent vacation. We have a very big 4 month old baby (18 lbs, 27”) and LOVED how spacious the dimensions are on this bassinet - it’s much larger than other similar products, which is a huge plus if you have a baby that needs extra space like ours. In terms of its functionality, this bassinet is easy to set up and take apart (it only has 3 separate pieces: the main bassinet and 2 legs that attach underneath). The folding mechanism is very straightforward: you simply give a quick yank to the nylon strap found in the center crease of the mattress. The tote bag provided to carry the folded/disassembled bassinet is easy to use, with smooth nylon material that allows the bassinet to slip inside with essentially zero effort. Unlike other carrying totes, this one is actually has some extra wiggle room so you don’t feel like you’re forcing something into it that barely fits. Although we have not had any issues with it thus far, the tote bag material is quite thin and presumably susceptible to holes/tearing; if I could make one critique to this product it would be to reinforce the tote bag since the metal legs rub against it during transit. Overall, this bassinet is fantastic and we fully recommend it. ***NOTE: contrary to what has been written in other reviews/questions/answers to this product, the mattress CAN be fully removed as it is attached via a clip underneath (see photo).
