Holds securely! TSA doesn't like it, though!

I've used this to hold my iPhone 6 and my Garmin. It holds both securely. The mount does slide a BIT, but usually that means I need to wash the sticky area on the bottom to remove the dust. I take it with me when I fly and rent a car; it is guaranteed to elicit further security screening. To keep TSA out of your luggage and carry-on bag, I suggest you carry it on and put it in a screening bin by itself. They can't see "through" it, so it always gets swabbed.

Great option for holding GPS (or phone on its side)

This is great for our GPS. Bought this because the little knob that held our GPS on the other stand broke. It works great and is way to hideaway when you get out of the car. Also works with a phone if your maps app rotates.

Great bean bag GPS, or cell phone holder.

I love this product. It works great in my 2016 Dodge. The weight and ease of placing my GPS product in this bean bag unit is great. It covers very little space on my dash, so not a problem in blocking my veiw. I got a second one for my truck, a 99 F150.

A solid grip and mount

This was what I was looking for, I had one before and it worked well. I've used other types and the GPS has fallen off while driving, this type grips the GPS between solid jaws and it stays where you position it. No fuss and easy to use,

Buy it so your GPS stays just where it belongs!

Just what one needs to keep a clear view of the road ahead and to obviate the vacuum holding your GPS to a windshield from failing and dropping the GPS in traffic and/or repeatedly. Easy to move so passengers can manage changing destination in traffic. Recommend waiting a while anyway, maybe forever, from actually sticking it to one spot on the dash or console. You will want to change it from time to time and take it with you to another vehicle occasionally anyway.

Very Nice Quality

I love this holder for my large GPS. Once you get the GPS in the 'jaws' of the holder, it doesn't let go. There are multiple areas of the 'jaw' to hold it so you can angle it depending on the way it sets on your dash. Love it!

Sits Nicely on the Dash

I wanted a holder for my GPS that wouldn't require me to block an a/c vent, so I opted for this one. It arrived promptly and was easy to figure out - it works like a giant clothes pin, and the GPS sits securely in the ridged "mouth". It's weighted with a non-slip bottom that's about the size of my open hand, so it doesn't slip once it's placed on the dash. There's also a small, peel-and-stick pad on the bottom that will add to the "stick", but I didn't want to use that. I'd rather have the option of taking the GPS off the dash regularly when it's not being used, and not leaving some kind of sticky glue residue. It's just what I needed, since the windshield suction cup on my old GPS no longer adhered well to the windshield.

Finally a functional GPS Mount

This is the first GPS mount that Didn't require constant wrestling and attention. Forget the suction cups that fall off the windshield any time the weather changes, and often-times while driving. This is a simple, spring-loaded clamp that grips the GPS, or phone, of multiple sizes and angles. It sits firmly on my dash, not sliding to the floor every time I take a tight corner. I like it. Finally a handy, functional and affordable GPS Mount.

Secure and stable.

Holds my Tom Tom very securely. The windshield no longer has suction cup marks. Also offers a quick setup compared to suction device.
