Use Pliers to Crimp it!!
I have to say that it worked perfect with the factory speaker wires. I have a LC7i And needed to tap into the factory radio. At first, I thought it won't work as I was trying to crimp it by hand because of what people said on some reviews about it breaking easy but the i grabbed a set of pliers and applied enough pressure until I felt it clip, It worked great and didn't even break one. I then put electrical tape after crimping just in case it gets loose or something.

Perfect for a reliable radar detector connection
This little gizmo solved my unreliable radar detector connection issue. I used a mirror tap connector before, that tapped into the auto-dimming mirror plug at the back of my rear view mirror. That connection loosens with the varying temperatures in the car so was unreliable. I was lucky enough to be able to crimp this little thing over the + and - wires that feed the rear view mirror and tapped the other connection on the mirror tap cable of which I cut off the copper "taps". Result, clean, reliable and practically invisible connection for a reliable power connection to my detector.

Taps to tap dance over. Great!
Line taps have always been cumbersome at best, and downright annoying otherwise. This little device is absolutely inspired. It says for use with 20/22 gauge wire. Pay attention. It means what it says. Just for grins, I tried one of them on 18 Ga wire. NO GO. All it did was mess up the device.

Did the job. Make sure your wire insulation isn't too big.
I ordered these inline connectors as well as the T's in order to make a modular low voltage power harness for my bench top testing. These worked great. At first I wasn't sure if the insulation knives would go through my wire, but upon reading the instructions where they said to finish closing it with a pair of pliers, it all made sense and worked great. Not sure if you're supposed to reuse them, but I made some mistakes in my design to start with and was able to unhitch them and re-use successfully. So they're not one-and-done. I will likely be purchasing some more.

Great high quality wire taps...
These are really great if you need tie in to some 18 to 20 gage wires. I used them to tap into my factory car stereo pre amp signal in my trunk so I could send the signal to my new sub amplifier... These made things very easy to do so... NOTE: I used a small pair of channel lock pliers to snap them closed... and I kinda wiggled it as I did it. I then used a multi meter to test the connection before I went on to my next step of installing my amplifier...

Nice! These T Splicers Just Work
I used these T splicers to string together 8 LED's for a rover I'm building - #18 for main line and #20 for branches. #18 silicone wire works fine without any modification or snipping of product. I particularly like the capture rings on the hinged lid for branch side. Most closed with a nice snap. A few needed a little pressure on the hasp to stay closed. A few suggestions: Check for consistent polarity throughout your project. Use a continuity meter before powering for first time. You should not be getting a continious beep or full needle indication from positive to negative. It's normal to get a slight beep or needle jump as capacitors discharge tho. Read the instructions. In conclusion, these little guys do the job, give you a more professional result than splicing and soldering, and are priced right.

A+ splicing.
I didn't quite know what to think of these when I saw them. I figured eh, why not? They're decently cheap and I got just the project to try them on. I had to replace the connector socket on one of my headlights to my 07 Jeep Wrangler. Connection was iffy and my headlight would go out intermittently (making me look stupid). So, I figured I could try these I splices out on the new plug. All I can say is, I'll be ordering more. They made the process a lot quicker, it's a lot cleaner, and it feels stronger than stripping and crimping. I even gave a nice tug, nothing big, and it held tight, not even a creaking stress sound. I even let my LED headlight fixture hang from them for a few seconds as I tested the new connector plug to make sure it had good contact. Still held up. They feel great, not a cheap piece of Chinese plastic. I'll be ordering some T splices and the double I splices soon to configure a few things.

Awesome!
These worked perfectly to splice in a OBD port into a car so that the original OBD port was not affected. These made slicing the new harness in as easy as pie. Not to mention working under the steering wheel with no room to move. I used a OBD2 wirring harness sold by Michigan Motorsports. LOVE THEM! And will use them every time I have a splicing job.

Easy to use. Secure connection.
I wanted an easy way to wire-in a Bluetooth audio adapter into my car's Aux input. Dealing with a soldering iron in such cramped quarters seemed like a pain so I opted for these connectors. I am very pleased with them. Very easy T connections. They are compact and the housing is clear on top so you can inspect the wire placement before you use pliers to clamp them down. They lock securely into place, but they can be opened and reused using a knife blade and some effort.

Shipped wrong quantity! *fixed by seller*
*updated review notes after original 3-star review* I ordered 2 packs of twelve, which means I should've gotten 24 pieces total. So why did I only get 19? Either someone can't count, or someone decided I didn't deserve to receive the quantity I paid for. What gives? I used one in a bench test setup for some planned outdoor lighting projects (all connections will be made in waterproof enclosures since these are NOT weatherproof), and it's important to test continuity at the branch points to make sure the wire is connected properly (no guarantee that the seller's photos are accurate). When using the right gauge of wire, these connectors make a solid splice, and I think that they'll work flawlessly. As a precaution, I intend to wrap the spliced connections in tape just to ensure that the doors won't pop open over time. Lost 2 stars on the review because 19 does not equal 24. Otherwise, the product itself shows promise. *update: after leaving middle ground reviews for the product and the seller due to the missing/wrong quantity, I was contacted by the seller's customer service rep and was given an apology as well as sent another pack of 12 to resolve the issue I had. They didn't ask me to edit the review, but since they followed up on a shortcoming, I figured that the least I could do was reciprocate. After all, the product itself is really good for making 2-wire tees...you don't find stuff like this in home depot...
