its not plugged in. no batteries or flashing lights, but it's a great solid toy. adorable, works really well. we have a blast playing with it and our son will too, lol. looks like it will last a long time and its extra nice that everything fits easily inside the turtle drum. I will buy this for others. its really terrific.

Great first music toy!

This toy is SO much fun and it holds everything in one place. I thought that the toys would be too cumbersome but they’re perfect! Lightweight enough for a baby to push around but so fun for an older toddler to shake shake shake their booty with!

My son really enjoy using the instruments, as well as taking them in and out of the drum. Good construction, and very sturdy. He's not a gentle kid, and it's held up well.

This toy is perfect for an infant under 1yo. Its bigger than i thought it would be. Very happy with this christmas gift for my grandson. Forgot to see where it was made though. Wary of lead paint in chinese products.

Oh, Infantino Turtle Cover Band, where have you been all my life? Or rather, all my baby's life? My kiddo adores music, and music class, so I spent months trying to find musical instruments that were safe for his age (under 1 year), but everything I found was... meh. Or (in one other case) super cool but super expensive. Then, when I had just about given up, I stumbled upon the Infantino Turtle Cover Band. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I just couldn't wait, so I gave it to the kiddo today. He LOVES it! And so do I. In particular, I love that every single instrument is a real animal or insect (e.g. a duck, a fish, a caterpillar, a bee), so we can talk about them in relation to the animals in his favorite story books. I also love that the whole set feels sturdy and very safe. Finally, it's just cute and fun! Highly recommended.

Quality is really good. Very cute and durable. Everything fits inside the drum, so it can be easily organized and stored. We love playing this set with our 8 months old son. He loves the drum particularly. He doesn’t seem like knowing how to play the drum, but he likes to grab it, bite it, throw it, and Wear it on his head like a hat. Super cute! I can see us enjoying this set for a long time.

Great purchase.

Purchased this for my granddaughter who is 7 months old. She loves it. At her age she enjoys the rattles and taking the pieces out of the drum. As she gets older I'm sure she will enjoy it for other reasons.

My baby is OBSESSED.

This was one of the best purchases I’ve made for my 7 month old. He’s been obsessed with these instruments for over a month. It’s adorable because he learned how to pat the drum with his hand and now he tries out other surfaces and pats them to see what noise it makes. He loves loves loves the blue rattle and will use it to play with other toys as well. He loves using it like a drumstick to whack other things. He even likes the little bee and lady bug which I didn’t think he’d be as interested in!

One of the best toys I have gotten for the money

One of the best toys I have gotten for the money. My daughter loves it. The rattles make a lot of noise, but not too loud and obnoxious. We are trying to find toys for our daughter that are not battery operated, and this worked great! Cute little container is also a drum.
